My husband Jeff and I enjoy watching our two children, Amanda and Garrett, transition from high school to college. We also have funkeeping our home landscaping under control, traveling, and golfing (although I usually have a better time driving the cart). Our two other kids, Ragdoll cats Givanni and Alice, keep our home lively.
I love to spend time with my husband, son, and dogs. We love sports and really enjoy watching our Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Indians, and our soccer teams. I enjoy being organized in all aspects of life.
I enjoy working with the doctors and staff at The Dental Center. Every day I challenge myself to make sure the patients are taken care of when it comes to dealing with their insurance, that they understand their treatment plans and payment options. I enjoy talking to patients not only on a business level but also on a personal one.
Even as a small child, I knew I would either be a teacher or work in a health field some day. I believe Ive found the best of both worlds with dental hygiene! I truly enjoy every opportunity I am given to educate my patients about oral health. I feel fortunate to be here at The Dental Center where I can spend so much one-on-one time with my patients. It really gives me the chance to get to know every person individually and help them achieve the best oral-health possible.
I graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Kirkwood in 2015 and with a degree in Health and Human Physiology from The University of Iowa in 2016. My studies have led me to have a strong interest in the association between oral and overall health. I love when I am able to help our patients see and appreciate the connections between the two!
While many of you have been familiar with seeing Anna at the front desk over the years, she has recently transitioned to a new position, as the Scheduling Coordinator for both the Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha locations. She is happy to help facilitate coordinating your dental needs and looks forward to working with you!
I feel very blessed to have called The Dental Center my employer since 1994. I am extremely grateful for the relationships I have been able to build with our patients and staff over the years. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many wonderful people!
I love spending time with my husband, Jim and our son, Noah. Our favorite activities are watching movies, family game night, and hanging out in our backyard watching the days go by. I also enjoy reading and yoga.
Weknow there is much more to our patients than their teeth! Over the combined 70 years our front desk staff has had working at The Dental Center, we have grown to consider the people we care for as our patients AND our friends.
I became Certified and Registered Dental Assistant in 1995. I have worked exclusively with Dr. Haganmansince 1998and have attended many continuing education classes on esthetic dentistry and denture implants. I really enjoy working with patientsand getting to know them. It is so interesting to follow their case from beginning to end to see the great final result. We have terrific doctors and a state-of-the-art practice with the latest technology.
Sandy is a dental hygienist and an assistant here at The Dental Center. She completed her studies in both hygiene and assisting at Kirkwood. She has also completed level 1 and level 2 expanded functions in Dental Hygiene.
When Im not working, I love to hang out with my family. I have a 3-year-old daughter that keeps me busy! Im also known as the crazy dog lady. I volunteer with a local animal shelter fostering and taking care of dogs. If I have had the pleasure to work with you, there is a good chance you have heard about my two crazy pups!
I have been working at The Dental Center for over 11 years and I work with some pretty amazing people. All of the doctors are amazing and provide the best care to our patients. We all make a pretty awesome team!
Melissa has been an assistant with The Dental Center since May 2008. She completed the Dental Assisting program at Kirkwood in 2001. Melissa has also completed Expanded Functions in 2010 and a Bridge Course in 2016.
I enjoy spending time with my daughter and cheering her on in all her many activities. Our family enjoys being outside and spending time with friends and family. We like watching Iowa Hawkeye football and all activities at our hometown school.
The care for patients at The Dental Center is outstanding. Everyone here takes pride in how things are handled for our patients; from the time they call in to schedule until the time they walk out the door.

Dr. Chris & staff, thank you so very much for helping me with the horrible situation I had. I had been in pain for 14 months after that dentist messed up my 12,13,14,15 teeth. Dr. Hagaman, I want to say thank you, from the first day you made sure my teeth and the care you provided were above all else. Even money, I am truly grateful and look forward to coming to you for many, many years. Thank you again, to all of you there at both Dental Centers in Hiawatha & Mt. Vernon Rd.

I have been going to the Dental Center for 20 years. If you want expert dental care this is the place to go Dr Chris H is a brilliant highly skilled provider and I have a beautiful smile thanks to him and Maria. All of the staff there are incredible As a nurse I have high expectations and they have always exceeded my expectations. Dr Chris does beautiful work and he has referred me to specialists when I was having other mouth problems. God bless these folks

Our son had a dental emergency yesterday. I called about ten different dentist offices and no one had any options or availability for us. I was honestly frightened until reaching out to the amazing people at Hiawatha Dental Center. They had him in there by the early afternoon and took outstanding care of him. We couldn't be more grateful and impressed with the care, compassion and professional service this dental office carries itself with. We're moving and I'm honestly contemplating driving hours to receive dental care from such an outstanding team of people.

Amy Mesch is the best, she is a great hygienist. I have had a lot of work done by Chris Haganman. He does fantastic work. I have many crowns and they are perfect. All the staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist.

I have been a patient of The Dental Center for over 20 years and continue to be extremely pleased with the level of care I receive here. I recently have begun visiting the new Hiawatha office for my care. The office is beautiful and the staff are a mix of those from the Mt Vernon Rd location and new. The staff is genuinely interested in me and any concerns I have. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a friendly staff who cares about those they treat!!

My stepmom ex used to work with Chris. With what he saw he took advantage of younger people. Any small filling that chip his words are you need a crown. I know this from experience. I recently had a crown and he messed that up which I then had to get a root canal. And when I got my first root canal I got told I just need a build up. And of course what does Chris say oh you need a crown. I argue with them because he's just trying to use you for your money. Also he has crack my tooth. He recently did on one my sister and your tooth just fell out. I don't recommend him at all.

He is amazing, always let us out of pain first then talks about a plan, will get you in immediately if needed and he always cares about your pain and thoughts and makes it financially possible.

Dr Jeanna hooked me up on Invisalign. She really took the time to explain every step along the way & made me feel very comfortable. I have dental anxiety & never once did she or the team make me feel like I wasn't important. I highly recommend!

Dr. Haganman does excellent work! He and his staff are compassionate, patient and kind with even the most reluctant, drag their feet clients - me being first on that list. I highly recommend him to my own family and anyone who needs an exceptional dentist who is caring and has a good sense of humor when dealing with "runners" (those who suddenly remember important things that they need to attend to rather than having their immediate tooth issue resolved). I have been to the Dental Center many times and they always manage to work me in when I have waited till the absolute.. last...possible...moment to address the tooth pain...although this is not advisable. Usually my tooth pain will immediately resolve itself if I just threaten to make an appointment the very next day...for those stubborn teeth that did not read the memo about ceasing pain at threat of dental appointment...the Dental Center has always gotten me in (without pointing out this could have been addressed much sooner had I not waited till it had crossed the excruciating pain threshold). Thank you Dr Haganman and your wonderful staff!

Dr. Jenna Haganman and Callan have been absolutely amazing to work with. They quickly worked to find a solution for a very sensitive tooth, and I couldn't be happier with the level of care and service I have gotten! This team is professional, fun, and easily the best in their field! Would give them more stars if I could!

I have been going to the Dental Center for approximately 25 years. In that time, I have had service provided by all the dentists at the Dental Center and they are all highly skilled with warm, friendly and easy-going personalities. My principal dentist is Dr. Stovie. The Dental Center provides excellent service - this includes the receptionists who greet me when I come in - to the dental hygienists that work on my x-rays and cleaning - to the dentists that examine and fix my teeth - to the nice ladies that takes my payment and handle my insurance. The Dental Center has private rooms for each patient and that for me is a big plus - some dental offices have their patients in bays along with other patients - which is to be frank unseemly. It has been fascinating to watch the Dental Center expand from one rented office in a local bank building to two standalone Dental Center owned and operated facilities. One is on the SE side and their newest building is on the NE side (Hiawatha). Both buildings are beautifully designed and decorated. The interior is pleasant and well appointed and looks and feels like you are visiting a wealthy friend's home rather than a medical building. Lastly, I have great admiration for the dentists who own and operate the Dental Center for their entrepreneurial and business acumen. What a blessing they have been to our city. By building two buildings from the ground up - they have employed countless Cedar Rapids tradesmen. By their keen ability to expand their business they have provided good paying jobs for 15-20 dental hygienists and technicians and 10 or so office support personnel. That's 20 plus families here in Cedar Rapids that are directly benefiting from the medical and entrepreneurial skill of these fine doctors. Well done and thank you to Drs Haganman, Stovie, and Hingst.

Can't recommend The Dental Center enough! Both Dr. Haganman's are incredible at what they do, and always have you leaving with a smile on your face! If you're looking for a new dentist in the area, this is the place to go!

The Dental Center was a perfect fit for me I had no Dental Insurance they were able to get me in and take care of my dental problem in a matter of a couple of hours I even have money left over so I was able to buy groceries for the weekend my visit was affordable and painless just talk to them I'm sure they can work something out for you they did for me

I've gone to the Dental Center for years! You won't find a more professional, friendly and knowledgeable dental office in the state of Iowa. Dr. Haganman is my dentist and I would highly recommend you make an appointment with him or any of the other dentists there. You'll be so glad you did.
