I am excited to offer patients a dental experience that is centered on the person. We are keen listeners and seek to understand what a person needs rather than to be understood. Caring for people, rather than focusing on fixing teeth, is why I love being a dentist!

I truly enjoy working one-on-one with our patient family. My goal as a dental provider is to change the image of dentistry. The vast majority of patients experience some level of fear or anxiety when it comes to dental care. At The Dental Center, we are able to develop relationships with our dental family and dispel anxiety. In cases of extreme anxiety, we offer safe sedation methods allowing them to access the high-quality dentistry they need, desire, and deserve.

I have been in practice for seven years. Dentistry is a melting potof many of the things that I enjoy, especially developing meaningful relationships with others. I am an oral healthcare provider that helps people achieve healthy smiles and improvetheir overall well-being. We base our care recommendations on current research and deliver results that exceed our patients' expectations.

He has completed postgraduate training in periodontal surgery, dental implants, and oral and IV conscious sedation. In addition to his surgical background, he has completed a Fellowship in Dental Implantology with New York University and Dental XP. Further postgraduate coursework includes endodontic (root canal) treatment, clear orthodontic treatment, oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also trained with the use of Botox and dermal fillers.

Dr. Hawkins was born and raised in Ballwin, MO. His wife, Ann Marie, is also a native of the St. Louis metro area. They currently residein Sunset Hills with their three wonderful children: Kate, Ben, and Jude. When hes not caring for his patients, Dr. Hawkins enjoys spending time with his family, playing music on his guitar, and heading to the lake to fish. His family is active in their church and Dr. Hawkins and Ann Marie enjoy supporting their childrens various sports interests.

In addition to his full time practice, he serves our country in the Army National Guard. He currently holds the State Dental Officer position within Missouri, overseeing the care of approximately 9,500 soldiers.He is honored to serve the soldiers that serveour country.

Barb will be assisting Dr. Hawkins with taking impressions, placing fillings, taking X-rays, and scheduling and making temporary crowns and bridges, as well as dentures. Barb has been working for The Dental Center since 2001, but has been a dental assistant since 1993. She earned her certification in expanded functions for Restorative I and II, Fixed Prosthetics, Nitrous Oxide, and CPR.

Barbs favorite part of her job is working in a field is that she enjoys working with great patients alongside some of her best friends and coworkers. She loves working at The Dental Center and with Dr. Hawkins because of our great work ethic and commitment to patient care.

Belinda will be the one you'll hear when you call; she also coordinates the dental benefits for you in order to give you the best estimate for your treatment. She tracks claims that are outstanding by insurance and handles the accounts receivable. Belinda will also be seen assisting in the back when she is needed. She stays very busy!

Belindas favorite part of her job is meeting new people, seeing friendly faces, and making friends with long-time patients. She feels fortunate to have great coworkers that have become like family and a boss that fun to work for, but also believes in excellence and high quality work. Dr. Hawkins, although he has been with the practice since 2017, has become a great addition to the team. She loves to laugh, have fun, and be a part of our awesome team.

Belinda has been married to her husband since 1990 and they have two children together, two stepchildren, and two dachshund mix dogs that she absolutely adores. Belinda loves hiking, camping, yoga, golf and anything that keeps her going. She is a very upbeat and happy person who loves to be around others and make them smile.

Justine will be the one assisting the doctor with taking impressions, placing fillings, taking X-rays, scheduling, and making temporary crowns and bridges. She has worked at The Dental Center since 2014, but has been an assistant since 1992. Her experience in dentistry includes a Certificate in Restorative I and II, Nitrous Oxide, CPR, MBDA, and Fixed Prosthetics.

Justine loves making patients feel as comfortable as possible. Seeing patients smile after they haven't in a long time is very rewarding. Justine loves working at The Dental Center because she feels our team is the best at what they do with a mix of laughter, fun, and professionalism.

Justine has been married to her husband Jimmy since 1991. They have a daughter Colleen. Justine loves spending time with her family, hiking, going to hockey games, working out at the gym, and she loves reading, crafting, and gardening.

Kate is in charge of patient X-rays, sterilizing, and assisting the hygienist. She began working at The Dental Center in 2017; however, she's been in the dental field since 2014 as a certified dental assistant.

Kristis position at The Dental Center entails performing preventive, periodontal, and maintenance cleanings. She also examines patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease along with educating patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health. Kristi graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1998 and worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Lexington, KY until she moved to St. Louis in 1999. She began working at The Dental Center in 2002.

Kristis favorite part of her job is meeting new people, making relationships with her patients and coworkers, and providing the most updated dental care to her patients. She loves working with Dr. Hawkins because he is genuine, generous, caring, and always wants to provide the best treatment to his patients. Her coworkers are some of her best friends, which is also a plus! They have all worked together over a decade and feel the same about providing the best care to their patients. They provide a fun-loving atmosphere and patients always feel at home when they are at The Dental Center.

Kristi has two sons Cole and Carson, and two stepdaughters Brooke and Meagan who are very active in sports locally, which keeps her busy most every day of the week. She enjoys spending time with her children, boating, and getting together with friends.

Teri is the patient coordinator here at the office. She works with Belinda and will also be a voice you will hear when you call The Dental Center. Her job is to coordinate the very best dental experience with the treatment that fits your needs.

Teri has been married to her husband Jay since 1993. She has two sons, five grandchildren, and a maltipoo named Teddy. When Teri and her husband are out of the work environment, she loves to be outdoors with children, grandchildren, friends, and her little dog. She has added a kayak and camper to her outdoor arsenal this summer and enjoys both, along with hiking and gardening.
