Although the staff was very kind this practice will leave you broke. The "treatment plan" I left with was just shy of $8,000.00...not a typo. I went in for a cleaning and was told I needed bonding, a root canal, had cavities that I do not have (verified by two other local dentists)...just ridiculous upselling that most cannot afford even with insurance. If you are like me and do your research find a local small family practice that won't take advantage of you - this is a huge turn off. We are supposed to be able to trust that these people will "do no harm" part of the Hippocratic Oath they take when they become "doctors"...not this practice. If you want a fair and honest professional visit OAK SPRINGS DENTAL in Miami Lakes where they treat you for what you need and not how much they think they can make from your visit.

I've been coming to The Dental Care Group-Aventura for a very long time and have always been happy with the care I receive. Recently I have had to use a different hygenist and although I was concerned at the beginning, it has worked out well. I was given Lily, as Cheryl is not available, and was very pleased. She, along with everyone else in this office, is very personable and friendly. Their COVID precautions are top-notch and they take our safety as well as their own seriously.

Updated: In my opinion, this group has horrible deceptive business practices. In addition, they have sent me 2 emails, within hours of posting, giving me the opportunity to "do the right thing" and remove my review and accusing me of "slander," for simply giving them 1-star. Transparency and actually getting a prior authorization, as every other dentist I have ever seen has done, could have prevented a big bill and a lot of stress/ time wasted on appeals, for which I had to work on myself. My insurance company stated that prior to me becoming involved, they just kept sending my x-rays, without any supporting documentation. My tooth was like that for 19 years. It was not repairable, but also not an emergency where I was in pain and it had to be done immediately. Trying to intimidate me to remove my review only makes this experience worse. Consumers are entitled to their opinions, and my personal experience at this practice was not good. I do not recommend. Other practices are much more helpful to their patients.

Dr. Glicksman and his team have all been amazing throughout all my visits at the Aventura clinic. Dr. Glicksman really knows how to put a patients' mind at ease before and after treatment.
