I grew up in a dental family. Whats a dental family? Well, my dad is an orthodontist. Both my sisters and my godfathers are general dentists. My mom was an orthodontic assistant before she ever met my dad ha! My grandmother, Honey as she is charmingly referred to as, worked in a dental office for 30+ years, and my aunts, too! Basically, I come from a long line of people who just get teeth. We LOVE teeth. I knew when I was a child that I wanted to see people SMILE their biggest and best smiles.
I am a true southern girl. I love everything about the south, which explains why I stayed near home for college (LSU, Baton Rouge, class of 06) and also dental school (LSU School of Dentistry, New Orleans, class of 11). Tradition is big around here. I got married to Drew after my first year of dental school and right after graduation, returned home to focus on work, and also to start our family. 6 years later, weve had three offspring, Searcy Cate, Graham, and Monroe.
And if all thats not enough of a blessing, Ive chosen to practice directly next door to my dad, my confidant, and my dental role model. Doesnt hurt that Ive got some of Lafayettes best dental specialists at an arms length away, talk about comprehensive care!

Had a check up and cleaning today at Mint Dental and I loved my visit! I felt very comfortable and enjoyed everyone who I encountered. The office is beyond beautiful and so relaxing. Dr. Saterfiel is the sweetest ever and has a very personable touch to her soul! She explained everything to me and didn't leave me hanging in the dark. Can't wait to go back. :)

Absolutely LOVED my first experience, as a client, at Mint Dental Boutique! My daughters have been with Dr. Saterfiel for years now; however, it was the right time for me to transition over. Dr. Saterfiel is truly passionate about her profession and YOUR dental experience/history/future is of the utmost importance to her! This office is filled with the most kind ladies that go above and beyond to make every part of your visit enjoyable! Not to mention it is the most precious place ever. My first thoughts when seeing it online were "this is too cute to be affordable" but I was so wrong! If you are considering going to Mint even the slightest bit, just give them a call and see what they offer! The worst part about it is I only get to go every 6 months!

The office and all staff were amazing. Everyone and everything was extremely thorough and Dr. Saterfiel is attentive and kind. Everything is up to date on technology which makes the entire process from check in to check out quick, easy, and stress free. Will definitely recommend to all friends and family!

Love them! I get severe anxiety when going to the dentist....That's is now OVER! Today I had the most thorough, comfortable, relaxing cleaning ever. I am actually excited to go back. Sincerely caring and sweet people who just want to provide the best care while making you feel comfortable and relaxed. There is no dental office out there that compares.

I had a cleaning and 2 crowns done at Mint Dental Boutique a few weeks ago, and Dr. Saterfiel is the BEST!! She even contacted me twice after my crown procedure, to see how I was doing/feeling and to see if there was anything else she could do. I have never had that kind of patient care before, and it makes for such a wonderful experience! I would HIGHLY recommend Mint & Dr. Saterfiel to everyone looking for an amazing and caring dentist!! :-)

Dr. Saterfiel and the staff at MINT do everything possible to make going to the dentist enjoyable. As a child, I had horrible experiences at the dentist that carried over into my adulthood. Dr. Saterfiel always takes her time and puts my comfort first. I never feel rushed, she takes her time with each patient and has created a relaxing oasis for them to enjoy.
