The Colony Dentist is a Colony based family dentist practice. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers, implants, and more.
Dr. David Hubbell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from the Baylor College of Dentistry. He continued his education after dental school with an elective one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. Before moving to The Colony and opening his new practice in 2008, Dr. Hubbell had a thriving practice in Grapevine, Texas for over 20 years.
Dr. Hubbell has taken hundreds of hours in continuing education and became a certified CEREC trainer in 2004 and an internationally certified CEREC trainer in 2006. Dr. Hubbell has trained hundreds of dentists in high-tech restorative techniques over the last several years. In 2004, Dr. Hubbell completed the Oral Implant Preceptorship at the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio and was awarded a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has received numerous awards for his scholastic and clinical talents including Deans Honor list, the International College of Dentistry Outstanding Achievement Award, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for Scholastic Achievement, the Horace R. Beecham Award for Denture Prosthesis, the Gold Foil Operators Award, and a Letter of Achievement in Endodontics.

If you're looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend this one. Dr. Hubble is fantastic and so is all of his staff. They are kind, helpful, and very informative. Best teeth cleaning I've had!

My wife and I have been coming to Dr Hubbell for our dental needs for almost15 years, and we have really enjoyed the professional, courteous, and attentive service that he and his staff have always shown us! We moved more than 30 minutes away from his office 5 years ago, but we still drive to his office because of the great service and care. Thank you Dr Hubbell!!!

I went in for normal cleaning and didn't even get a chance to sit down before I was taken back for my cleaning which was awesome! There was a high attention to cleanliness And sterilization of the tools and environment. Glasses were even provided so water or other debris would not get in my eyes. It was a very quick but thorough cleaning, and I was in and out within 30 to 45 minutes. Highly recommend!

Dr Hubbel is the best and his hygienists are top notch. They all make you feel welcome and relaxed. They don't try to get you to get things done you don't need. It's all about the patient. And Dr. Hubbell has a GREAT sense of humor. You won't find a better dentist.

Dr. Hubbell is clearly brilliant and knows his stuff but is also very funny, relaxed, and friendly at the same time. This same mentality translates to his entire team so every time I go in, I never dread it or am nervous because the relaxed energy in the office as a whole always makes me feel at ease. I think this is great given that no one is dying to go to the dentist. Also, he is fair about what treatment you need and doesn't try to gouge you. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend.

I can not recommend this practice more! I came in with the expectation that I would have to replace both of the crowns on my 2 front teeth as I have been told I need to by another dentist (almost spent 3k to do so but I moved states last min) instead the dentist told me he could make them look almost brand new without replacing them. And he 1000% did. They look fantastic. Not to mention he was quick as can be with my filling and dental work. OH and did I mention how CHEAP it was!!!!! I was expecting a 3k bill like my last dentist and walked out paying $80. I have ZERO complaints about the colony dentist. My wait time was nothing, they are quick, affordable, kind, funny, and overall a great atmosphere. I have NEVER been more happy with a dental office than I am with theirs.

This is the best dentist I've ever been to. He is very interested in finding out what your needs are. Takes a lot of time with you. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. Do yourself a favor and make this office your family dentist!

I was having a full blown anxiety attack both times I went so far & they made me feel so comfortable that I am not as nervous to go back to continue my dental work! I was apparently even nervous filling out my paper work & managed to put an incorrect date for my birthday & they didn't make me feel awful for it! Everyone in the office is very kind helpful. Doc is super funny & thorough with his work. He made me feel much more calm as well during the process. I am very grateful I landed here & look forward to having beautiful teeth again. I cannot thank you guys enough! Y'all have been wonderful!

Staff is great, friendly and informative. I work construction out of town and they understand and are flexible with my appointments. I'm Canadian and the Dr. Hubbell took the time to explain the different types of insurance plans, what I have, what I could move into to save money and on taxes. He talks sports, bbq, loves to laugh. Very welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating dentist and staff. I mean for a dentist office you can't ask for much more.
