Dr. David Hubbell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 from the Baylor College of Dentistry. He continued his education after dental school with an elective one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. Before moving to The Colony and opening his new practice in 2008, Dr. Hubbell had a thriving practice in Grapevine, Texas for over 20 years.
Dr. Hubbell has taken hundreds of hours in continuing education and became a certified CEREC trainer in 2004 and an internationally certified CEREC trainer in 2006. Dr. Hubbell has trained hundreds of dentists in high-tech restorative techniques over the last several years. In 2004, Dr. Hubbell completed the Oral Implant Preceptorship at the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio and was awarded a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has received numerous awards for his scholastic and clinical talents including Deans Honor list, the International College of Dentistry Outstanding Achievement Award, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for Scholastic Achievement, the Horace R. Beecham Award for Denture Prosthesis, the Gold Foil Operators Award, and a Letter of Achievement in Endodontics.
