Our staff is committed to providing you and your children with quality care, customized to your specific needs.
Dr. Kristi Rossomando purchased The Childrens Dental Group in 2000, after three years with Dr. George Montano, a pediatric dentist with over 45 years of experience. She continued to focus the offices efforts on treating children and adults with special needs. In 2004, the growing practice moved to its current location on Grand Avenue. To address the needs of younger patients, the building was completely remodeled and renovated.
Dr. Kristi received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and subsequently pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Connecticut. She grew up in Branford and, upon finishing her studies at UConn, returned home to start her practice and her family. Dr. Kristi is a proud mother oftwo school-age daughters.
Susan has managed The Childrens Dental Group office since 2008. With nearly 40 years of managerial experience, sheorganizes all of the office functions to make sure that patients receive the best possible care.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, Michelle has worked as dental hygienist with The Childrens Dental Group since 1994. Over the years, she has formed a close bond with the community and excels at treating patients of all ages, including those with special needs. Michelle approaches her dental care duties with professionalism and clinical precision.
Starting her career as a dental hygienist in 2003, Amanda has been with The Childrens Dental Group since 2004. Having had a great deal of dental work as a child, she understands how good oral hygiene and proper diet help prevent cavities and improve oral health. Amanda provides quality care to each child and has a great rapport with her patients and their families.

I have been taking my daughter here since she was young she is 13 now and she has anxiety and Dr.Kristi is very rude my daughter has told me the things she says she has no patience and she never interacts with the parents she always send her assistant to speak with the parents which some of them are rude as well she needs to do better as a dentist serving the community my daughter is well on her way to another dentist do yourself a favor and don't take your child there

Don't go to this dentist place. Doctor is so rude, being kid dentist she lacks compassion to work with kids. She filled my kids molar and it started to pain. We went back and she was so rude and shouting on my 4 year kid. My kid was in lot of pain but they didn't do anything. I have to take my kid to another dentist and they did x ray and told that tooth they filled is decaying. Sadly they have to extract my kids tooth. This doctor just work for making money and not treating the kid's teeth nicely. If possible I would give them negative stars. Seriously don't go to this place if you want good for your kids. Horrible dentist.

Dr.Kris is one of the rudest doctors. Do not send your children here unless you want them to be absolutely traumatized dental wise. Very rude to the children. Dr.Kris has made rude remarks to my children multiple times while preforming their procedures, which my kids have reported to me afterwards. My son experienced discomfort during his dental procedure and said "Ow" to which Dr.Kris replied, "Stop Whining" and proceeded to tell him that if he brushed his teeth (Which he does as I brush mine with him every night), that he wouldn't be there. She has also said similar to my daughter. This dental place is very outdated as well. Doesn't look Sanitized and the sitting room is very distasteful. Take your children elsewhere, surprised this place is still in business.

The staff in the front are Great! The Dental hygienist are Wonderful!! The Doctor herself is rude, she does not belong working with kids lacks compassion, personality she just does it for the $$ kids insurance on some things pay double. If the staff could replace the doctor they would get 5 stars.

I have one daughter who has sensitive teeth and has bad anxiety when it comes to getting fill ins. This dentist doesn't help at all, when she is going through pain they are rude, I do not know if this dentist does it or not but they should allow kids to be put to sleep during processes like that. Especially if the kid can barely take the pain to the point they get rescheduled. I get it it's not the dentist's fault but if a kid is beating you up because of the pain I am pretty sure something Should be done about it. I cannot control the child's pain and I have other kids that are there so I can't just watch one, nor can I force the kid to stop. They have tried laughing gas and numbing her mouth it still had her in pain. If you put them to sleep a lot more work will get done. If you have read this long thanks. (This is just my opinion)
