Make you sit outside if you're not the patient if the patient is there for a consult. I've been sitting in this horrible heat with my child for over an hour now. You cannot afford to run your vehicle to keep cool because of the gas prices and we live 45 minutes away! This is beyond ridiculous!!!!

I really wish people wouldn't get in to these fields , that don't have the passion and just doing it because it's a job. Really looks bad for business

I had 8 teeth removed and to say that i am scared of the dentist is an understatement . I had the best experience with Dr. Rhonda Carter she was very nice and knew how nervous i was and the lady who assisted her was amazing , very kind and very attentive to every concern . Dr Carter had 8 teeth out in under 15 mins , she made sure i was numbed up and was okay with anything i felt . i would suggest anyone who needs any type of dental work done do not hesitate to get an appointment with Dr Carter .

I was under the impression that wisdom teeth consultations were complimentary. The consultation was on February 23, 2021. On December 4, 2021 I receive a bill from them for the consultation. Did we fall in-between their billing crack? After our appointment I called to ask them how much it was going to be for the procedure. No one could give me an answer because of my insurance?!?! I highly recommend driving and going to Oral Surgeons of Charlotte. They are professional and will give you a complimentary consultation.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience here. Dr. Risser is AMAZING. Went it to get a wisdom tooth removed in the morning and before they closed they called to check on me and to see if I had any questions. I would recommend this place to anyone. Personally I hate the dentist but they made my experience so much better.

My son had his wisdom teeth cut out Monday and it was the best experience. The staff, Caroline the nurse, and Dr. Risser was the best. They were so helpful and answered all my questions. The doctor even called that night to check on him. Then when we had problems and had to come back two days in a row they were so comforting, and didn't hesitate and brought us right in. We learned a lot and they showed us what to do and helped us feel more comfortable in the healing process. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a wonderful experience and my son felt very comfortable. Thanks again:))

My Dentist recommended The Center to have my wisdom teeth removed while sedated. I called and was able to get a consultation appointment very quickly. The staff and surgeon were very professional, welcoming, & knowledgeable. I was able to schedule my surgery shortly after my consultation. My surgery was yesterday Aug 17th at 8a. I didn't wait long at all in the waiting room. I filled out some paperwork and they were calling me back. I was SUPER nervous to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed because all of the horror stories I heard from family & friends of their experiences. The nurse that took me back could tell I was SUPER nervous!! She made me feel very comfortable & reassured me that they would take good care of me. They explained every step to me as they did prepared me for the procedure. Dr. Risser was my surgeon. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Once the I.V. was in I knocked was out in seconds. I don't even remember going to sleep...LOL...Next thing I know...I woke up and they were taking the equipment off of me (heart monitor, etc). Helped me into a wheel chair to the recovery room. They sent my medication to the pharmacist & provided very thorough instructions to my boyfriend of post care for me. Later that day Dr. Risser called me to see how I was doing. Again, she answered all of my questions and concerns. I thought that was a really nice touch and I was very appreciative being a former Medical Assistant. I had a GREAT experience despite my fears. I definitely recommend The Center to anyone that may be very anxious and nervous.

One of the best experiences I've ever had..couldn't believe how painless my extraction was

Please do yourself a favor and find another surgeon. It is very difficult to contact this business for any follow up care. I have been in pain for over a month after having my wisdom teeth removed and they do not show any sympathy. I was told it just "takes a while" and sent home with no answers to be able to get on with my life. Edit for clarification: I visited Center for OMS on January 10, 2020 and saw Dr. Rhonda Carter for wisdom teeth removal. After my appointment, I did not receive the promised follow up call to check in. Weeks later after having consistent, increasing pain in my jaw, I attempted several times to contact someone and it took four calls just to set up a follow up appointment. Once I got the follow up appointment, Dr. Rhonda Carter saw me, did a brief, incomplete exam and brushed it off as if I had a preexisting condition that she wasn't concerned with and told me to live with it and suggested I take Motrin. She treated me as if I were lesser than her and my pain didn't matter. I visited my dentist and they assured me that the pain that I was experiencing was not normal and that the response that I received was callous. I then demanded a second opinion from another surgeon - Dr. Simpson, who was understanding and thorough. He heard my concerns and actually made effort to diagnose them. In just a few days following that visit following his care instructions, I have already seen a great improvement. I'm leaving this as a one star review because no one should have to go through the stress that I did just to be treated as a human being.

I was referred here by my dentist for an impacted wisdom tooth removal. The oral surgeon I was assigns was as rude as you could possibly be to someone I had an extraction done Monday at my regular dental office this was a surgical procedure her 1st question to me was why it wasn't taking care of at my dentist office. Her entire attitude was she didn't want to be at work today. Ive never felt so uncomfortable at an appt. then using a scare tactic of letting me know that I have 1% chance to have a droopy lip for the rest of my life. Would never feel comfortable with someone performing surgery in my mouth who spoke to me and had that type of bedside manner the way that she did If I could give a 0 stars I would Im blown away at the bedside manner

Root canal extraction of my wisdom and the tooth in front of it, local anesthesia only. 16 hours later and I'm feeling pretty good, no serious amount of swelling. Stitches are sewn in nicely, no openings as far as I can see. I'm a happy man, completely pleased with my procedure.

Dr. Billman, the other oral surgeons and his entire team are wonderful. They were able to get my family member into the practice in a timely manner and treated us with nothing but respect. So thankful for this group practice and I love that they all communicate with each other - it makes scheduling so easy! Couldn't have had a better experience!
