T hroughout his career Dr. Prisco has strived to provide the most advanced dental care for his patients. He has achieved this goal through his extensive postgraduate education, his caring, listening chairside approach to dentistry, his commitment to the latest technologies, and a friendly, well trained staff.
Dr. Prisco is a graduate of Dunmore High School, the University of Pittsburgh, and Emory University School of Dentistry. In order to provide the most comprehensive dental treatment for his patients, Dr. Prisco has completed postgraduate coursework in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontic aligner therapy, dental sleep medicine, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Scranton District Dental Society, along with prior affiliation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy for Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Prisco has developed his philosophy for patient care around the fact that each individual patient has unique needs which need to be addressed before approaching any treatment. From there several treatment options are usually offered for the patient to choose from. Then, once treatment is decided upon, Dr. Prisco will provide the highest quality care with the utmost attention to detail and perfection.
Upon graduation Dr. Prisco moved to Philadelphia where he attended Temple Universitys School of Dentistry. While at Temple Dr. Prisco became a volunteer at numerous free dental clinics in low income and underserved areas of Philadelphia. In addition, in October of 2013 Dr. Prisco traveled to Jamaica on a dental mission trip with Great Shape! 1,000 Smiles Project which provides free access to dental care and education to Jamaican families. While there, he provided Jamaicans with fillings, cleanings, extractions, sealants, and oral hygiene education.
In May 2014 Dr. Prisco graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he received his degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine. Since graduating Dr. Prisco has become an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Prisco has also taken numerous advanced education courses in Occlusion, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Prisco grew up in Moscow, PA and is extremely excited about being able to serve his hometown and surrounding communities. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be able to work alongside my father and serve my community with the highest level of dental care.

Very professional and knowledgeable dentists. I was able to get a very fast appointment in an emergency. They even called me back on a holiday weekend when they were closed. I would highly recommend the Center for Esthetic Dentistry.

Since leaving Lackawanna County, I still drive 2 hours to go to Dr. Prisco for all my dental work. Dr. Prisco and the staff are great. I highly recommend his office.

As somebody who has had pretty severe dental anxiety for even the smallest things, I can confidently say that the team at CFED is incredible and completely takes away any fears or anxieties I've had. They were completely sympathetic to my anxieties and worked with me to get me to a point where I no longer dreaded going to the dentist. If you are somebody who shares those same anxieties, I am promising you that the team here is so incredibly kind and willing to take the time to make you comfortable. They remember you so well for seeing most of their patients probably about twice a year. Huge shout outs to Jenny and Bernadette, but especially Lisa, who is such a fabulous person to get as a hygienist. Thank you to Doc Priscoe Jr and Sr for putting together such an amazing staff!

I have never been to a dentist that I don't mind going to, until now. Both Dr. Prisco's and the entire staff are so kind and welcoming. They genuinely take the time to know you and make sure you are being put first during the exam and answer any and all questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience for me or my children each time.

This has been my dentist since I was a little kid. They've seen me through cavities and implants! They're super friendly and caring. As much as you can love a dentist, I love my dentists office! Also, their COVID protocols and precautions make me feel very safe.

I would recommend Dr. Prisco and his team to anyone! When looking for a new dentist I had a few criterium. I chose The Center for Esthetic Dentistry for a few reasons: 1. They have comfort measures (like nitrous) because I'm terrified of dental work. 2. They have convenient hours. 3. They are clean. The reasons that I stayed with The Center for Esthetic Dentistry are: 1. They know my name and are always very friendly and professional. 2. They go the extra mile to ensure that patients are comfortable and as pain free as possible. 3. They are very understanding and give me breaks to breathe. I never feel embarrassed about my dental fear. One time they even went out of their way to lend me an iPod and headphones and put on a calming meditation to help me through a procedure. 4. They always have taken extra precautions to protect patients. 5. They never suggest procedures that aren't necessary.

My family has been going here for the past 5 years although we live in Stroudsburg. Dr. Prisco is extremely knowledgeable, affable, and professional. The facility is very clean, modern, and all the staff members are respectful and friendly (they even play great music!). I would be remiss if I didn't mention the excellent job performed by Lisa who is one of the dental hygienists here. I highly recommend this place!

I have been seeing Dr. Prisco and his staff for approximately 8 years. I see them twice a year for cleanings and a checkup. I have had some specialty work done, most recently crowns. Both Dr. Prisco and his son are great dentists. All the dental technicians that I have dealt with have been very professional in all they have done for me. I can't say enough good things about the office staff as well. They and everyone at the center have treated me great.
