Dr. Jenna Khoury is a San Diego native who earned both her doctorate (DMD), and specialty certification in Pediatric Dentistry from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dedicated to pursuing excellence in her field, Dr. Khoury has also earned the title of Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Amongst other accolades, the Consumers Research Council of America has named her one of Americas Top Dentists in her field for four consecutive years.
She prides herself on staying current through the utilization of state-of the art equipment, and the use of safe, biocompatible materials, to provide the best possible care to all of her patients. In addition, Dr. Khoury is devoted to community service, having taken part in several medical missions overseas, as well as providing free dental care to San Diegos homeless youth.
As a board certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Khoury stays up to date with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education and maintaining numerous association memberships including; The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA).
The Brush Stop Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodonticsis a Pediatric Dental Practice committed totreating, newborns, infants, toddlers,childrenand teens with tongue ties, lip ties and other breastfeeding needs with the use of a CO2 laser technology.Dr. Khoury is well known for her concern and understanding of mothers who wish to breastfeed. Dr. Khoury is an expert on the diagnosis and treatment of ankyloglossia also known as tongue-tied.
Dr. Khourys additional specialty training, as well as her extensive private practice experience has provided her with the patience, TLC, and tools to deliver comprehensive dental care to children with special needs and medically compromised conditions. Her level of training and expertise has also enabled her to care for the most anxious and apprehensive children and teens. She believes that every child should be treated as family, and strives to ensure that every visit is a positive one, through her fun-loving demeanor.
On any given day, Dr. Khoury can be found enjoying the San Diego sun with her husband and french bulldog. A few things at the top of her bucket list are to run a half marathon, and to master the art of paddle boarding.
Dr. Stephen ODonnell earned his doctorate and specialty certification in Pediatric Dentistry from the esteemed Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, (USC), and earned his Master of Science in Global Medicine from USCs Keck School of Medicine.
Dr. Stephen is a compassionate doctor who strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for every child. He has experience treating a wide range of children, from infants to adolescents, and strongly believes every child should be treated the same as his own family. His level of expertise and training enable him to gently care for even the most anxious children, or those with special needs.
He has provided care as a member of multi-disciplinary teams at several major hospitals: Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, & Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
The Brush Stop Pediatric Dentistry is conveniently located at 7720 Rancho Santa Fe Road, on the corner of La Costa Avenue and Rancho Santa Fe Road. Our office is on the second floor, and positioned next door to CVS and across the street from the La Costa Towne Center. Our proximity to the 5 and 78 freeways makes it convenient for our patients coming from all parts of San Diego, and surrounding cities, including San Elijo Hills, Encinitas, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Carlsbad and San Marcos. The office complex has ample, easily accessible parking, and is fully handicap compliant.
Our reception area is child and teen friendly, with age appropriate games, an I-pad station and books. With a coffee bar and aromatherapy throughout the practice, we designed our space to allow parents a moment of relaxation. An accompanying parent is always welcome to the treatment suites, and patients are ushered by our dedicated clinical team to their designated chair, where the doctor will welcome them. The checkout process is individualized and private, involving our knowledgeable team capable of directing patients to whatever continuing care may be necessary to meet both their health and insurance needs.

I have been bringing my son here since he was an infant and now will be taking my daughter. The staff here are so welcoming and kind. My kids truly enjoy going to the dentist! I'm so thankful I found The Brush Stop.

Wow Dr. KHOURY is amazing she is so sweet and knowledgeable. Treated me and baby baby boy with such care and compassion. On my 2nd check up after my sons frenectomy I had forgotten my diaper bag, and I live 2 hours away and just as I get into room we were going to be seen in he starts fussing because he has dirty diaper. I was so overwhelmed as a new mom and I had so much guilt I that I forgot my sons diaper bag and then she enters room and I apologized that he was fussy and then tears start falling down my face that I had no way to change him. And the Dr herself said I will wait in the room and carry your baby so you can run across and get your baby some diapers. And hurried to CVS and got him some diapers and when I got back she had him in her arms and he was calm and sleepy. She told me don't worry moms have to have eachothers back. The office was very busy yet she took her time to stay with him I was truly greatful!

Dr Khoury and staff are incredible! I took my 4 year-old and he didn't want to leave! Who can say that about a dentist trip? The staff is friendly and attentive and answered all my questions. Thank you!

My kids hated going to the dentist until we started going to the brush stop! I researched every dentist in San Diego and willingly make the 30-40 min drive from Bonita for all 3 of my kids just because I know we are getting the best treatment and service. The peace of mind of not having my kids traumatized by a dentist visit is priceless. It's super obvious once you're there that Dr Khoury really cares about her patients and is passionate about her business. Her staff is exceptional, polite, and communicative. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Our girls absolutely LOVE Dr. Khoury and the team! A big shout out to Tiffany who worked on our 4 year old and treated her with SDF - her experience was amazing! She was so anxious about it but Tiffany put her at ease, talked her through the whole process and made her laugh and brought so much calm. A BIG THANK YOU Tiffany as our little one can't wait to go back and see you again (her words)! :)

We love Dr K and staff! They are super welcoming with their smiles and awesome patient service ! We have been going here ever since they opened shop in the area. It's been 5 year now and their service has always been consistent. They are thorough in their explanations and do a detailed job reviewing complicated procedures. And most importantly they are great with my now 5 and 3 year old . :)

Best pediatric dentist team/office ever. We drive almost 30 miles each way to bring our kids to Dr. Khoury because she and her team are that amazing. She has been our kids' dentist since she opened The Brush Stop and my kids have truly enjoyed going to the dentist ever since. We just returned from another A+ appointment full of TLC and helpful learning, and I had to leave a review. Dr. Khoury, Tiffany, and staff carefully discuss options with us and have been the most gentle, kid-friendly team--the caliber that a parent and child dream of. My once cavity-prone kids have been cavity free for years since switching to The Brush Stop. Dr. Khoury is a treasure.

Dr. Khoury and the entire team at The Brush Stop are wonderful. Not only do they provide excellent care, they do so with compassion, warmth & grace for their patients. Her expertise in tethered oral tissues (lip tie and tongue tie) that can cause feeding issues with babies is above and beyond. I recommended her frequently. The atmosphere in the office is safe, fun and supportive for young kids, making them excited to see the dentist rather than fearful. For pediatric dental care, Dr. Khoury and her team have you covered. I always say, I wish they saw adults :).
