They don't answer phones when they are wrong.......teeth is very important and you have to be careful how you treat people and their mouth.

Very unprofessional, I changed my location from Somerville to this location because as I explained to both locations I had a major car accident and was getting around in a wheel chair. When I get there they refused to see me although it's a wheel chair accesible location because they said my feet where too swollen although I was willing to transfer myself into the chair. The manager made her decision in denying me treatment without even coming out to see me and speak to me. I then had to call the Somerville location so that they can reach out to them and finally they decided to see me an extra month after the original date. All I wanted to do is finish my treatment which I had been waiting long enough to finish after my accident and now will still have to wait even more. Also what if I was permanently disabled where they going to refuse me treatment?

(Translated by Google) I finished the treatment date and my teeth were still out of place apart from that they did to me. Pay an extra amount to continue repairing my teeth when I no longer had to pay (Original) Termine la fecha del tratamiento y mis dientes seguian aun desubicados aparte de eso me hicieron. Pagar un monto extra para seguir reparando mis dientes cuando ya no me correspondia pagar

Don't waste your time. I had an appointment for a cleaning at 2:30p, at 2:50p I walk to the front desk to ask how much longer I have to wait, another 10 min goes by, I go in a room for x-rays (lady who did them was nice). Shortly after I go to another room for an "exam", and get told to go back to the waiting area to wait for my cleaning (was told estimated time was an hour). One of the ladies at the front desk had an attitude. If you don't work or have plans for the day, this place is perfect for you.

Two stars: One for prompt service and one for the dental assistant's professionalism. Other than that, the management at the location and "lead" dentist were extremely unprofessional while addressing a procedural concern. Instead of listening to understand, they attempted to gaslight their way out of accountability. After addressing my concerns in writing, the main office promptly resolved my concern.

The employees here are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Your personal information is also not private. The employees here share patient information over the phone with their boyfriends. That's a violation of HIPAA LAW and the manager here is okay with it. I went ahead and filed a complaint as well with the office of health and human services.

People at the desk deserve a 5, but the "doctor" doesn't seem to care about any one. I got my braces taken off and I felt as tho as my teeth were not that straight. It's been 7 months and I have to keep my retainers on or I can still feel my two front teeth moving. Then a couple of weeks ago I lost my retainers and was told the doctor wasn't there for a week for them. Now I'm here with my teeth shifted almost all the way back tremendously and no point of my braces. He never listens to my concerns. He brushes it off.

Pros: - Call you about an upcoming appointments or if an appointment is available - Friendly and a nice place - Have good resources Cons: - If you come on time to your appointments, you are not guaranteed to be seen on time - Won't communicate with patient, If something comes up and have you're now waiting for hours - Wait time for an appointment is outrageous - Will blame you for breaking a bracket even though their coworkers did it - Follow up consist of a doctor coming up to you and pushing on your retainers and saying ur good and that it - lack of effort for certain patients - Front-desk employee are unprofessional and rude - Appointment schedule is weird - Will document you for not showing up to your appointment even though they cancel and made you reschedule - Careless about what you have to say and feel like there are always right Overall, is not a bad place but DEFINITELY NEEDS to improve ASAP

I rarely leave reviews, but just didn't have a good experience here at Braces place Dorchester, and want to warn anyone looking to get braces. My teeth were not in great shape after a 1.5 year treatment when my braces were about to be removed. I had to ask to be transferred to the Somerville location. I think that because there's such a high volume of clients/patients and also different techs working on the teeth, there's a decrease in attention to details. Also, rude orthodontist. Received treatment here March 2018 to Sept 2019. I paid $4k out of pocket, so expected a better treatment and outcome. I hope they have improved since. Good luck!

I was scared because of all the bad reviews but my experience was quick and easy. I was like the only one there and got to sign in right away and waited only 5 mins before getting called to get thr check up. It was quick and simple. The ladies who worked on me were also very nice.

Asian Male Doctor seems very unprofessional, every time I asked him about why a procedure is getting done to me either gives me a bad reason or none at all. When I got a permanent tooth taken out, it was the unprofessional way with just one big tool and taking out my tooth less then 5 seconds. I got no Septocaine to make my mouth feel numb. Do not recommend this place to anyone

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO GET TREATMENT TO THIS PLACE! Pay a little more elsewhere but don't go here. I rarely leave reviews but l feel people need to know. My experience was just traumatizing, I feel that the main doctor (supervisor/asian dude) just destroyed my teeth and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. First, I got extractions that I don't think were even necessary because now I have a huge gap in the front of my teeth that would only close for a few hours after I wear the retainers over night (So there was space for my teeth to move). The way this guy did the extractions have been by far, the most uncomfortable and traumatizing experience I've ever had with any dentist. Now every time I go to the dentist even for a minimal procedure, I get extremely anxious to the point I hyperventilate. When my braces where removed (it was like he literally was ripping them out) he "shaved" the teeth to make them look even, however I don't know what the hell happened but my teeth became extremely sensitive to everything to the point that I can't bite into certain foods because it hurts. I decided to go to the Somerville location (the doctor there is amazing and I just wish I had my treatment there) and have the gap fixed with a frenectomy, and unfortunately the problem is still there. No answer to questions about your treatment, cero professionalism, and the list goes on! Everyday I regret getting braces at this place, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE and go somewhere else!

This place has THE WORST service ever. They're never on time for scheduled appointments. There is always a long wait.
