Although Dr. David Leever was born in Michigan, he grew up in Tampa, attending Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School and H.B. Plant High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University, School of Dentistry in Atlanta, and completed his residency in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Leever utilizes his experience and innovation to create customized plans of treatment tailored to the unique characteristics of each individual patient. He employs cutting-edge technology, such as 3D technology, custom-constructed lingual Incognito braces, Invisalign clear aligner braces, and PROPEL orthodontic micro-osteoperforation technology to accelerate the biology of tooth movement and shorten treatment times, as well as the traditional braces techniques.
Our office gives back to the community through the Smiles Change Lives program by providing orthodontic care for patients whose families otherwise could not afford. In addition, Dr. Leever is vice president and sits on the Board of Directors of the Temple Terrace Little League and regularly volunteers his time to provide care at the Christianville Mission Dental Clinic in Gressier, Haiti.
Dr. Leever has published and lectured in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has also received both U.S. and international patents for a dental device and technique that improves the accuracy of dental restoration construction, orthodontic tooth movement, and jaw surgery corrections.

My job is to construct the diagnostic records that Dr. Leever uses to confirm our patients diagnosis. I am also responsible for ordering all orthodontic supplies. I enjoy spending time with our patients and their families. I get to take their final photos when the treatment is complete and love seeing those great smiles!
I work closely with Dr. Leever to provide the most excellent orthodontic care for our patients. I love sharing family stories and learning what is happening in their lives. See those smile first hand is the greatest.
I create all the orthodontic appliances that help keep our patients smiles straight and healthy. I enjoy the artistry and creativity in making the appliances. I love finding ways to make the appliance special for the patient and seeing their reaction the first time they see it.
I enjoy getting to know each patient while assisting Dr. Leever with their orthodontic treatment plan by making it a fun experience and by helping to create a beautiful smile. In my free time, I love to work in my garden and I also love birdwatching. Cardinals are my favorite!
