Since finishing my residency Ive sought out a range of continuing education courses, learning from leading researchers and practitioners in the specialty. In addition to classes taken at conferences and other gatherings, Ive completed a two-year MBT course, Invisalign one-to-one, and studied functional occlusion with the Kois Center.
Growing up I lived in California, New Jersey, and South Carolina. My family and I have lived in Bend for about ten years and we love experiencing the great outdoors all year long. Alisha, my wife, and I have two children. Lily is our daughter and Miles is our son.

During the year I complete many post-graduate orthodontic courses, attend meetings and seminars, and participate in hands-on events. This ensures I remain at the leading-edge of innovative care, so my patients receive the best treatment and achieve the strongest results.
My wife, Echo, and I have two young children: Parkerand Presley. Away from the office Im usually found with my family, enjoying different adventures. I also manage to fit in the occasional round of golf, weather permitting.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

I was really blown away with how friendly everyone was! From scheduling to the doctor everyone was just very nice and tried hard to make my son and I feel comfortable. The doctor also explained things in an easy to understand way. Love this place!

The staff there are so wonderful and helpful. We had so many unexpected things happened with braces but they always help us right away with kindness. We are so happy they treated my son. Highly recommend to others. And my son's teeth looks good now.

Just got my braces on today here. I was so nervous leading up this appointment because I'm an adult getting braces. They made it so painless and so easy! And leading up to getting them they always made sure to let me know what they were doing, how they were doing it, and why they were doing it. And the staff was super nice and professional.

I brought my daughter in for a consultation, they were so kind and informative. She was so nervous at first so they walked her through every step of the process, they made her and I feel comfortable. Once she is ready for braces I feel at ease knowing she will be getting them from the brace place.

Nothing short of miraculous what the Brace Place has done for me! My teeth were so horribly crooked --I never thought in a million years that in my 40's it would be possible to straighten them out!!! Now I can floss!

We go to the Brace Place in Prineville. I appreciate how quickly they get my son in and out of his visits. Their patient login online is helpful to make payments and manage our account. My only complaint is that because of COVID they are not letting me go back with my son or sit in the building during his visits. Then they just send him out without checking in with me about how things are going. It would be nice to speak with the orthodontist or at least someone that works there about his braces, hygiene, and progress.
