Dr. James M. Crouse is a native of Salisbury. He graduated from Wicomico High School in 1978 and received a bachelors degree from the University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Crouse attended dental school at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, graduating magna cum laude in 1985.
He joined the United States Air Force after dental school and completed a one-year general practice residency at Barksdale AFB hospital in 1986. Dr. Crouse practiced general dentistry at RAF Bentwaters in the United Kingdom for three years and then left for orthodontic training. The Air Force sponsored Dr. Crouses orthodontic training at Emory University in Atlanta, from which he graduated in 1991. He spent the next three years as the orthodontic consultant at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany.

Susan began working for Dr. Crouse as the office manager in 1998. Shes a Salisbury native and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salisbury University. When not working, she enjoys farming, camping, and music festivals.
Raised in San Antonio, TX, Rebecca joined The Brace Place team in September 2017. When shes not working, she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and eating peanuts in the pool. She loves listening and singing along to classic rock.
Tami joined The Brace Place team in April 2016 as a receptionist. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends camping, shooting pool with her husband, Greg, and listening to loud music with her son, Lloyd. She enjoys lazy rainy days with her dogs, Justice, Sophie, and Jeffrey. She also loves to bake and decorate character cakes, such as Mickey, Tigger, and Pooh.
Holly moved to Berlin from Severna Park in 2005 with her daughters. She has held different positions within The Brace Place since 2016, and she currently loves being one of our front desk receptionists. When shes not working, she can be found on the beach with her four beautiful granddaughters.
Along with being known for creating beautiful smiles, we have become famous for our atrium with its resident turtles. Our patients have a beautiful view of a peaceful garden with a fish pond, several turtles, and a waterfall.

The entire team has GENUINE interest in patient care! From day one four years ago, they have consistently been kind and have always provided us with excellent service from the front desk, billing, hygienist to Dr. Crouse! The staff alone make it worthwhile. Always courteous, friendly, and personable. It is a very pleasant and professional atmosphere, and Dr. Crouse is excellent as well. It is our favorite medical provider of any kind in Salisbury.

Dr. Crouse and his staff are simply amazing. My daughter didn't want to continue on with her braces, but they created enthusiasm. They educate and provide suggestions then if a bracket becomes a problem, help is quickly arranged. Instead of dragging her in, my daughter goes willingly, and we're greeted warmly every time.

We initially brought our son in for a second opinion on braces. He's 11. Dr. Crouse was able to ease our original concerns and provided us with detailed knowledge about our son's dental health and discussed possible plans for future treatment when he is developmentally ready. His assistant Candace was so warm and welcoming and put our son's, and my, nerves at ease! Extremely clean office. Super friendly staff from the front office to the exam chair. Fun and positive atmosphere. Thank you for the great experience!

I just got my braces today and I am not disappointed. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. They went over the instructions on how to take care of my braces and made it very easy to understand. I thought it would take a while to get them on, but they worked pretty quickly which was a bonus!
