Dr. Joseph was born in Joplin and graduated from Memorial High School in 1978, serving as student body president. Dr. Joseph attendedMSSUand later earned Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree fromUniversity of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He completed Orthodontic Residency and earned a Masters in Dentistry from St. Louis University Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Joseph has been a member of theAmerican Association of Orthodontics, theAmerican Dental Association, and is past president of the Southwest Missouri District Dental Society. Dr. Joseph is certified as a 'Specialist in Orthodontics' by the Missouri Dental Board.
Dr. Joseph is married and has 4 children attending schools in Joplin. His family runs a charitable organizationLights of Hope - JoMo, with their handiwork on display at The Brace Place. Dr. J. is a semi-professional musician, playing with the Higher Ed Band based in Joplin. He also loves numismatics and has been a member of the Tri-State Coin Club for several years. Dr. Joseph enjoys long-distance road bicycling and enjoys regular rides on the Razorback Greenway trail.

Every single thing, about every single experience, with every single staff member, was an absolute pleasure. My daughter's teeth are absolutely stunning, after two years of carefully following Dr. Joseph's instructions. Scheduling for appointments was a breeze, and the payment plan they offered was the only way I could have swung such a big investment! So thankful that we chose The Brace Place! I highly recommend to at least schedule a consultation if you are considering braces for your child, or yourself!

Went for a consultation and ended up getting same day braces. Everyone was super nice and they explained my treatment plan thoroughly. Definitely recommend!

Such a wonderful experience from not having a pretty smile to it changing in 3 years I highly recommend them affordable friendly my daughter has even made connection with everyone at braces place I'll go in for my appointment she will just stay at the desk with V and color and do hands on activities and I have no worry while I'm in my appointment such a relief

My wife and I are very happy with the brace place. Dr. Joshep and everyone else are very friendly and courteous.The place is very clean and very professional. It's also affordable. We were happy with our free consultation, because they were able to start with the braces that same day. Thank you brace place.

Wonderful, friendly, caring staff. Very fast & efficient. Dr. Joseph was my orthodontist when I was a teenager so I'm glad to get to bring my kids here for the same great care.

The brace place is a fantastic place to get dental work done. Everything always happens on time, and in a nice and organised fashion. It's all very seamless, whenever I have an appointment I just walk in check in and get the work done for however long it takes, no need for any intermediary steps. The staff is wonderful, as they are all friendly and all care for the patients various needs. Overall, a great place with even greater staff always helping out those who need it!

It's a great place for kids n adults to get their braces on. People are very friendly and understanding. They are also passionate about their work n patients/clients' treatment. I certainly would recommend this Nrace Place to any body bc It's also affordable compared to other dental places

My daughter and I absolutely love this place! The staff and Dr. Are always so welcoming and go above and beyond each time we are there. My daughter always wants to stay longer just to chat with the staff. I highly recommend Brace Place for anyone considering getting braces for themselves or their kiddos.

This is hands down the best place to get braces done! It is super affordable and the staff is so warm and friendly and caring that it is like visiting family when we go in. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and great with kids! My son loves coming here for his appointments and he loves each and every member of the staff! He actually looks forward to each adjustment! We will be sad when he gets his braces off and we won't need to come back anymore. We may have to go in periodically just to say hi! I would 100% recommend The Brace Place to anyone who needs any kind of orthodontic work! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Our experience with the Brace Place has been phenomenal. The entire staff is kind, dedicated and caring. Dr. Joseph is extremely knowledgeable of his field. They have made my twins feel very comfortable and they look forward to every visit. They are FANTASTIC!
