Dr. Bryn Vaughan Cooper has been a Bear, a Longhorn, and a Billiken on her long path to become a board-certified orthodontist. She earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biology from Baylor University in 2005 and 2007, respectfully. While pursuing her Masters degree at Baylor, she researched water quality controls on the Central Texas Watershed. That research led to presentations to the national and Texas branches of the American Society of Microbiology, and the Texas Academy of Science.

After her stint as a Baylor Bear, she became a Texas Longhorn by attending the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011. During dental school, she authored or co-authored nine article reviews.

Finally, Dr. Cooper began the last leg of her orthodontic journey by joining Saint Louis Universitys orthodontic residency program, where she became a Billiken. Upon completing the program, she earned an orthodontic certificate and a Masters of Science. During residency, she presented to the American Association of Orthodontists and collected and analyzed genetic data as part of an orthodontic thesis project. The resulting thesis, titled Genes Influencing Mandibular Size, was some part of the genetic expression research in orthodontia and led to a pending patent submission.

Dr. Cooper proved her qualifications to a board of her peers in both written and oral form to earn her American Board of Orthodontics Certification. And since moving to Houston, she has gotten involved with the local dental and orthodontic communities, including joining the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association. She is the 2021 President of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Cooper loves to go on walks with her husband, daughters and golden retrievers. When she isnt walking the trails with her family and friends, you can find her sampling the new restaurants fares, listening to an audiobook or podcast, or traveling for her volunteer leadership roles.

Dr. Rodriguez's biggest aim in forming relationships with you and your family is to treat your child caringly, knowledgeably, and prudently, and to empower you with the information you need to help your family achieve optimal oral health. She became a pediatric dentist because she realized that every day working with children is a good day, and she works to make your experience just as positive!

Dr. Rodriguez was born and raised in the Midwest, then headed south to the University of Alabama in 2011 -- Roll Tide! She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2015. After realizing her goal of working with children, she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry in 2017 at the UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she received extensive training in treating children with complex medical and behavioral needs. Dr. Rodriguez is a board-certified pediatric dentist, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and continues to educate herself on the most current techniques to provide the safest and best quality care for her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Rodriguez loves to cook and bake, especially recipes from different cuisines; read; play cards and board games; and walk with her husband Charlie. She is excited to get to know you and your children well!

First time for both of my toddlers at the dentist and it went AMAZING!! The dental assistant and dentist were both very friendly. The beach vibe is super fun for kids too. Plus a movie room at the beginning and toys at the end make it so my kids want to come back sooner than 6 months. Thank you for a great first experience with the dentist. :)

Great experience at Beach House Dentistry. My 9, 7, and 3 year old all love Dr. Parker and her staff. Everyone is very sweet and professional. They had a cleaning today and I found out they also have a board certified orthodontist so I will not need to take my 9 year old else where when the time for braces comes. An overall perfect experience!

The dentistry has definitely gone downhill since new management took over. Extremely poor in communications and poor customer service/experience. Had been doing Invisalign treatment there for about a year. Was supposed to get new trays after a scan in Jan. Called a few times over course of weeks and was told that they were still waiting. Went in for kid's cleaning in March, asked again about the Invisalign and was told that the treatment is complete. There is no more trays. never reached out to me to tell me about it even though I was calling over the last few months to inquire. Then fast forward in May, I find that the attachments for Invisalign was not removed. Called them, and they said that well, will need to come in and get in removed and put on retainers. All this could have been done, and probably needed to be done 5 months ago. Instead of communicating this information when we are in office, they blame me for not knowing to ask and that the information was provided in the Invisalign paperwork in the beginning (1 year ago!!!) That said, Dr Parker has been great with my kids. Unfortunately the support staff has been very poor with communications. I have been taking my kids to this dentistry for the last 10 years. This is really aggravating and I hope that they do better.
