Dr. Bryan G. Judd graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1984. He has completed cosmetic curriculum at the highly acclaimed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Studies (LVI), Kois Center in Seattle, and trains yearly with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry of which he is a participating member.

Dr. Judd is an active member of the American and California Dental Associations and the Sacramento District Dental Society. He has presented valuable hands-on courses by teaching other dentists and their office teams advanced cosmetic techniques. Dr. Judd has lectured on Occlusion (how teeth come together), veneer and smile design techniques, and dental photography.

Dr. Judd now serves as the 2020 Immediate Past President (after serving as the 2019 President) of the 1,700-member Sacramento District Dental Society, after being on the Executive Board for many years. He values these relationships with the many fine dentists and industry support personnel in our area. He was also invited to be a delegate from Sacramento at the 2019 California Dental Associations (CDA) House of Delegates which guides policy for the CDA and the future of dentistry. He looks forward to continuing in these associations for years to come.

For ten years, Dr. Judd served with the Sacramento District Dental Society Peer Review Committee (PRC.) PRC provides conflict resolution when patients have complaints he sees and evaluates the patient, then meets with the dentist who present his perspective on the case. His professionalism, communication skills and the time he invests helps diffuse complicated situations to keep them out of the court system.

Dr. Judd is the son of Keith Judd, a retired dentist and was raised in Sacramento. Dr. Judd and his wife love spending time with their four children, their spouses, and twelve lively grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Judd enjoys playing basketball, playing the piano and keyboard, and composing music. He plays keyboard with Walkin the Dawg Band, a classic Rock & Roll Sacramento-area band.

Dr. Les Hoenig grew up in the Los Angeles area, and attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he graduated with a degree in Zoology. After his undergraduate work, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Detroit School of Dentistry.

Following his graduation, Dr. Hoenig completed his Internship at William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso Texas, while serving in the United States Army. Later, he served as Chief of the Dental Clinic at Kenner Army Hospital in Fort Lee, Virginia.

Moving back to California in 1972, Dr. Hoenig established his general practice in Fremont, CA, where he practiced for 32 years. Moving to El Dorado Hills in 2004, he has continued in general practice, with an emphasis in Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Hoenig is a member of the American and California Dental Associations, the Sacramento Dental Society, and a past member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has been on staff of several hospitals.

Dr. Hoenig enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle, their sons, and grandchildren. He is a gourmet cook, likes to travel, and takes pleasure in relaxing in the mountains, close to fly fishing and snow skiing.

Jill is our Treatment Coordinator, has been with our front office team since 2013, and has been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for over 25 years. With both these perspectives, Jill will capably assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. Her infectious laugh and positive attitude brighten up our office all day, every day.

Tara is our other Treatment Coordinator and has been with our office since 2019. She has been working in the dental field since 2007; her friendly smile and warm manner will put you right at ease. Tara is a great asset to our team and will make you feel comfortable in understanding your insurance benefits and options for receiving the dental treatment you desire.

Jessica Were excited to welcome Jessica back to our office as one of our Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH). She previously worked for us as a Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator, but left to further her education to become an RDH. Jessica is passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of dentistry, especially your dental health. She brings a happy, enthusiastic vibe to the office. Getting married in 2015 and welcoming two little boys to their home keeps her and her husband on their toes! Glad to have you back, Jess!

Denise is an integral part of our team, having been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) since 1994. She joined The Art of Dentistry in 2014- we are so lucky to have her!! Denise has worked in all aspects of dentistry and she brings an expert ability to listen to and articulate your desires and needs into the vision you have for your smile. Denise is one of the most kind and patient people you will ever meet.

Shanna is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who started with us in 2015. She is intelligent and perceptive to your needs, working alongside the rest of the team to make your experience in our office one you will truly enjoy and look forward to. Weekends find her hiking, fishing, or going to the movies.
