Known for his experience, Dr. Wych truly enjoys helping people look their best. He combines the latest technology and techniques with a calming atmosphere and relaxing treatment. Dr. Wych can make a positive impact on each and every smile he encounters. He dedicates numerous hours every year to Continuing Education courses on Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Conscious Sedation for his Columbia-Irmo patients.
After earning a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Xavier University, Dr. Wych attended the Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. Following Dental School his Navy service brought him to South Carolina, and Dr. Wych decided to permanently call the Palmetto State home. He has maintained his private practice in Irmo since 1988. When not at work, Dr Wych enjoys spending time with his wife, playing golf and tennis. He is actively involved at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

The whole staff here are so nice and friendly. They really make you feel comfortable and heard. I have some previous bad experiences with other dentists and Dr. Wych heard my concerns and made the things that were important to me, also important to him. Ali was so helpful in making sure that I felt comfortable during the process and making sure that I didn't feel anything at all. I cannot recommend this office enough if you are looking for complete, comprehensive care with with a provider who will treat you with the respect and dignity that you deserve!

New patient here. Super impressed thus far with this dental office. Dr. Wych really sets a different tone from a personal welcome call before my appointment to a follow up note afterwards. The staff, super nice! Office was comfy and really clean. The bathroom was even cozy :) and clean. I am incredibly terrified of the dentist and so far so good. Making arrangements for procedures soon.

Needed a lot of dental work done to restore my smile. I'm also quite anxious about dental work. From the moment of my first appointment, I knew I picked the right place. One week out from that first appt, I am already on my way to a perfect smile. Had a lot of work done under sedation and came out of it with no pain or issues. Amazing! Dr. Wych is gentle and honestly cares about his work and wants perfection. The entire staff is great, makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The office is clean and Dr Wych uses the latest technology. I also appreciate that he has very large solar panels in the back lot. I am looking forward to my next appointment (who says that for a dentist?!).

Poor Customer Service Experience with Reception. Called this past Monday/Tuesday to schedule a new patient appointment, the receptionist told me her earliest appointment was Thursday at 7am, she said she knew it was early and asked if it would work. I agreed and scheduled. I confirmed again at the end of the call my appointment and she said again Thursday at 7am. So now it is Thursday and I arrive at the dentist office to find out my appointment was actually scheduled for Aug 20th at 7am. Mind you I live in Cayce, SC and the dentist office is a half hour from my house. The receptionist (not sure if the same one who booked my appointment) did not seem to be very apologetic or didn't even attempt to remediate the situation. All I got was "sorry" and I can call you if an earlier appointment comes available. For me personally actions speak louder than words and a simple, not very caring I'm sorry just does not cut it for me. Very disappointing, especially since I heard quite a few great things about the dentist. This was a very bad first impression and due to this I will be cancelling my appointment very soon.

I went to get my tooth extraction and I was treated so good there the staff was very nice and helpful the nurse Courtney was very nice and very helpful explaining to me my options and Dr wych was excellent and gentle I was pain free and came out happy I will definitely recommend them and i will be using them as my regular dentist

Every single staff member of this office is fantastic....from the front office to Dr. Wych! I am pretty sure that I am the most annoying patient ever but they have always treated me with such grace and kindness! Each and every person that works there has such compassion for the patients. I also want to recognize their passion for patients and their persistence in ensuring that patients are well taken care of! This is definitely some of the best medical care I have received! If you have particular needs or have particular questions (or if you are just particular like myself), this is the place to go....because they persistently work to meet your needs and persistently work to find those answers for you!
