After practicing general dentistry for over 20 years, I decided I wanted to obtain additional training in a whole new area of dentistry. I have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and have been treating patients for years with TMJ/TMD, Sleep Apnea, and Clenching/Grinding as well as may other bite associated health issues. I also have focused the majority of my practice on holistic dental care and the safe removal of heavy metals from patients mouths.
My passion is to help above all else, and these newer areas of dental care allow me to treat people who would otherwise suffer or seek treatment from an unqualified and inexperienced dental team. My team and I are committed to providing more holistic alternatives to dental care, and we are passionate about the whole body dental care we provide for our patients.
Becoming a dentist was the final plan and a perfect fit. Early on, I was a creative kid with an inquiring mind and a big sense of humor. I was already a perfectionist and easily building relationships based on caring and a listening ear. Thats a great description of me, as a youngster and how I still am today. Since receiving my doctorate degree from Rutgers University / University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, I have continued studying to broaden my expertise far beyond the foundation of general/wellness dentistry and into cosmetic restoration, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics.
At an early age, I loved to build models and work with my hands. In my childhood, my parents encouraged me to seek a career that would utilize my skills. I first started to learn about dentistry when I joined a Scouting Explorers group with a friend when I was a teenager. Through those meetings I developed an interest in dentistry and decided to make it my career choice.
I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree focused in Biochemistry. I then received my Dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. I later went on to complete a General Practice Residency program at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
I have built on my passion for dentistry and expanded on my skills by taking many continuing education courses. It has helped me to learn about many different technologies in dentistry including dental implants, advanced restorative and esthetic techniques and how to treat sleep apnea with oral appliances.
I am an attending in The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Robert Wood Johnson/Barnabas Medical Center in New Brunswick. Here I volunteer my time to teach residents the skills that I have learned over the years.
My hobbies include photography, traveling, bicycling, and reading. I also enjoy listening to all genres of music, going to concerts, watching movies and spending time with my family. I enjoy learning about classic cars as well.
After graduating dental school at The University of Connecticut, she went on to New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where shecompleted her General Practice Residency as a Chief Resident.

I had the best experience with The Art of Dentistry. I needed amalgam fillings removed. I was initially told the procedure would not be done on the first visit. But I have a complicated situation and upon learning of it, Dr. Berry said that they would be able to do the entire procedure that day. I was pleasantly surprised. The procedure was painless, I didnt feel like anything was rushed. In short, I couldnt be happier and will definitely be going back for further appointments.

The doctors are OK. I particularly like Dr George, their newest addition. No issues there. It's the office staff, KELLY and STACEY, that I find to be ABSOLUTELY RUDE and unprofessional on more than one occasion when I call to inquire about HUGH balances ($4,800). Shocking. Not even for hospital visits have I received such a bill. They demanded payment and charge a late fee for work they had NOT DONE or scheduled. I had to call several times before they returned my call. I've have to follow up several times to verify the submission of claims to insurance company. Lots of inconsistencies in their explanations ("We submitted it, it must have gotten lost in the MAIL"). Really? Claims are submitted to insurance company by mail and not ELECTRONICALLY? When I ask to speak with Dr Berry, I'm told by Stacey "The doctors don't speak to patients, that's why they have office staff". So who do we speak to when there is an issue with the office staff? About 20 years of affiliation with Art of Dentistry and left once precisely because of rudeness from staff. Incidentally when I left, the first dentist I saw informed me that I had 2 cavities. How could that be when I went for routine cleanings up to 3 times a year and told all was well. I'm sure there are many competent, professional and far less PRICEY dental professionals out there. It's all about SERVICE. I care less about waterfall and 10ft entry doorways.

I never enjoyed going to the dentist, always became super anxious during every appointment.. Today I saw Dr. Blick for an emergency visit and had a cavity filled. Her assistant Jill was super bubbly and calming throughout the entire visit, which made the appointment fly by! They both work so well together!! I was in and out of the dental chair in 15 minutes!! Such a great experience!!! Thank you Dr. Blick & Jill for a great visit!

Amazing pain free experience. I have anxiety about going to the dentist but this office put you at peace and the friendly staff makes you feel extra comfortable.

"On This Day" consider The Art of Dentistry as I like to mention a heartfelt thank you! (ALREADY - for the positive improvements thruout my body) My great journey back to better health is one of opportunity to change like us all with our health challenges to become more informed with research and then, now resolve, rebuild by learning recently too of many connections to the mouth. I am most grateful to find online this caring team and then obtain the most beneficial whole body care from the entire dentistry staff! Their exceptional expertise and guidance with how much that goes on with keeping ones teeth healthy (and for some that involves removing mercury also) has turned around and improved other conditions elsewhere in my body. Their compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable staff worked together to discuss a plan from my consultation that helped me feel at completely at ease and really positive for the next step for progress in steps (administrative, financially too). They truly provided me the ability to heal. I will always remember "the day"--Art of Dentistry=full recovery for me!

I started going here about a year or 2 ago from switching out of a local dentist. My drive went from 10 minutes to over an hour but the drive is SO WORTH IT. I will never go anywhere else again. Dr Dean and Diane are always so kind and helpful. They are always in a great mood which makes me calm and relaxed with any kind of work I get done. They take there time and answer any questions I have. I never felt rushed. I have gone there multiple times and every time was a pleasure. I used to dread the dentist and now I no longer do! They truly care there and are honest with me. I wish I started going there years back. If you are thinking of switching dentist/ finding a new one.., go see Dr Dean and Diane!! Love the art of dentistry and spa team!

My experience was AMAZING, and I can't say enough about the atmosphere! Crystal was my hygienist, and she was absolutely AMAZING! She made me feel so comfortable, and she was very thorough! I will be coming back to her EVERY TIME and I actually can't wait to go back to see her

I've been coming here for about 2 years or and I won't go anywhere else. Everyone in the office is amazing. I feel at home here. I saw Crystal for a cleaning and she was fantastic. She made sure I wasn't in any pain due to sensitive gums. She was gentle, thorough, and explained some areas of concern on my gums and how I can care for them at home. Thank you Crystal for a great cleaning experience and some laughs with Dr Blick. Will definitely see Crystal again

This place is amazing, I've never had a bad visit. The staff is super nice and they're great at there jobs. I've had a different hygienist ever time I've gone in, but I'd have to say Crystal is probably my favorite, and hopefully I have her again next time!!

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This place is a scam with insurance. I started seeing them recently, first visit I thought was great! I agreed to do physical therapy with dr.T they told me they checked my insurance and was told it would be 100% covered with a $15 dollar co pay. I was going to my appointments after each visit I was in so much pain I decided it was best to discontinue going. I couple months later I get a bill in the mail for over $1000. Also told me my co pay was only $10. I reached out to the practice multiple times, left messages on there machine. I get a random email stating I owe now $485. I emailed the email back, and I got a very nasty response back. I am not paying $485 dollars when I was lied to. The lady who has been emailing me back and fourth told me I should of received a check from my insurance company to pay $485 dollars which I never did. Whoever Diana is at that practice needs to learn how to properly speak to someone. If they want the money so badly after lying to me they need to contact the insurance company themselves.

Great experience overall, whether getting teeth cleaned and evaluated or getting work done. Everyone in the office has both a professional and a friendly attitude. Very good experiences with several dentists who have done work on my teeth. Questions answered honestly and thoroughly. Excellence in all aspects of treatment is the norm here.
