Dr. Mary Ellen Nesnay grew up in Bayonne, NJ with her parents and 4 siblings. She earned her B.S. degree from Villanova University and went on to earn her D.M.D from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1987. As she completed her dental education, Dr. Nesnay dreamed of opening her own practice one day.
Understanding that pediatric dentistry includes treating many special needs children, Dr. Nesnay completed a one year fellowship at Stony Brook Dental School where she learned techniques to better treat these children.
She then went on to complete her two-year Pediatric Dental specialty training at Schneider Childrens Hospital. Following her dream, she opened her first office on Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park in 1990. As the practice quickly grew, she moved the practice to a larger facility in Massapequa in 1997. By word of mouth, the reputation of the practice spread and continued to grow. In 2009, That Broadway Smiles movie theater themed office opened to the delight of all the patients and their parents!
Dr. Meyer grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2013, he earned his D.M.D. degree from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Chandler, Arizona. He pursued his general practice residency training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. While being exposed to many different aspects of dentistry, he found a true passion for treating children and patients with special needs. He then decided to complete a one year fellowship at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, caring for patients with disabilities and special needs. He received extensive training and successfully treated many patients using IV sedation or in the operating room. He then decided to obtain his pediatric dentistry degree at Stony Brook where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Meyer is a Diplomat of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. When he isnt at work, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan, especially passionate about his hometown Toronto teams.
Dr. Allison Blutstein is a board certified pediatric dentist who pursued a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Her love for buffalo wings encouraged her to stay in snowy Western New York, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with a concentration in pediatric dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Blutsteins education continued at Staten Island University Hospital, where she completed a general practice residency and then a pediatric dental residency, where she served as chief resident.Dr. Blutstein resides in Queens andin her free time enjoys traveling, baking, going to the beach and spending time with her family and dog Auggie.
Dr. Lynda Asadourian is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She was the Chief Resident at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D. C. where she completed her Pediatric Dental Residency. She attended Lehigh University graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. She graduated from dental school with various honors and awards such as being a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Certificate of Merit Award, Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, and the New York State Dental Foundation Student Recognition Award.
