I would highly recommend Thames River Dental. I had a crown fall out and they took me in right away. The dentist is top notch. I highly recommend him.

The doctors and staff at Thames River Dental are absolutely wonderful. I am continually impressed by their friendly demeanor and their expertise. I had a filling procedure yesterday that was not so pleasant, due to the fact that I was unable to relax my tongue throughout the procedure, causing extra effort on both the dentist and his dental assistant. The more that they asked me to relax my tongue, the more that my tongue "fought back", it seems. I would love to see Thames River Dental offer the option of oral sedation moving forward, so that patients like me who have a tendency to gag during dental procedures will have some assistance in making these procedures less intrusive and unpleasant. Thank you.

My scheduled appointment for both the new crown and filling replacement August 23rd went very well. Dr. Bottaro's new assistant, Crystal was very professional, kind, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Bottaro always willing to stop for a moment if you need him to. Also, Jovy was patient and understanding with me regarding insurance matters. Helped me to understand the process of denials and approvals, assuring me along the way. Also, the two dental cleanings I had prior to this visit went real well. All in all, I am very satisfied with Thames River Dental. I recommended it to family members and others.

When I first moved to New London, I needed to find a new dentist. I did a little research and decided to try Thames River Dental Group. I was impressed with this practice before I even stepped foot in the door! Jovy is the office manager. She helped me navigate and ultimately win my dispute with my insurance company (the insurance company does *not* get five stars) and answered all of my questions. Ashley is my dental hygienist. She put me at ease immediately with her warmth, kindness, intelligence, and great sense of humor! And when I had to get a gap in my teeth fixed because it was causing much bigger problems than I realized, Dr. Bottaro took the time to make sure the work was done right. If you're looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Thames River Dental Group!

We are so happy to have found Thames River Dental group. Everyone here is so personable and very capable and professional ! Also very thorough in their care for your dental health!!! I can relax and feel confident that the dentist and the hygienist are doing their best. The receptionist is so helpful also and they all make your visit very pleasant!!

I am one of those patients where most of the battle is getting me past the anxiety to actually show up to an appointment when I need to. I needed to find somewhere for emergency dental work and I really lucked out with Thames! I actually found a place that I won't have a problem returning to for much needed future work! Wonderful staff, no judgements, and they got me in super quick with no issue! Five stars!

Having been with this practice for a number of years and through and a number of changes in the last several years I can only say that I feel especially fortunate to have, stayed with TRD. My first review (2020) focused on their hygienist, Ashley and she continues to get rave reviews. This time I'd like to add kudos to their newest additions including Jovy their office manager who is knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Most importantly, Dr. Brian Bottaro, the primary dentist is professional, skilled and someone you can have true confidence in. With each procedure he has always made the extra effort to ensure that you have a positive experience. A practitioner who really enjoys and cares about his work. All this from someone who's childhood dental memories are best forgotten. Change can be good!

I am often anxious about going to the dentist (like a lot of people) and found the atmosphere of the building and the kindness of the staff and dentists to be outstanding. The hygienist and Dr. Bottaro made sure I was beyond comfortable! I highly recommend this business!
