Dr. Thacker is a long-standing member of The American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Green River Dental Society, The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and maintains membership in a premier national study club on dental sleep medicine and TMD (temporomandibular dysfunction) that provides ongoing training. He is also an associate member of the Chicago Dental Society. Yearly continuing education is a priority for Dr. Thacker as he is committed to providing state-of-the-art dental care for his patients.
Community Involvement Dr. Thacker has been a monthly volunteer dentist at the Christian Dental Mission in Owensboro since it was established in 1996. The Mission provides free basic dental care to those with financial need. Diane serves along side him monthly at the Mission as a expanded duty DA and clinic coordinator.
Dr. Thacker has been a member of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce since 1985 and is a two-term past president. Founder and chairman of the Livermore Enhancement Foundation since 1993. Dr. Thacker has sought to improve the quality of life for others in Livermore and McLean County. Numerous committed citizens have worked along side him to make community improvements through the years.

A few months ago I would have had a five star review. The staff and Dr Thacker have always been great, I needed a new upper denture went there, to get it my old denture fit like a glove had it over twenty years no problems. Got these new ones my insurance paid well over a thousand dollars I my self have paid Eleven hundred and still owe over a hundred. And I have denture that's horrible they flop around when I try eating and even talking to people. It's embarrassing and I have told Dr Thacker and his staff he looked at them and said I needed to send them back in for realienment. At the tune of another three hundred and eighty eight dollars. On top of what me and my insurance have already paid. So if you're in the market for new dentures I would go somewhere else. If you are in need of regular dental work they are great.not dentures.feeling really dissatisfied. And hate to leave a bad review have thought and pondered and prayed about it for a while. Just feeling let down. Sorry to Dr Thacker and his staff. Sincerely Edward.
