Dr. Travis Kendall grew up with various dental issues, meaning he had to undergo a lot of different dental treatments. Even though hes a dentist now, he admits he really didnt like visiting the dentist for a long time. But its this understanding of how many people feel about visiting the dentist that makes him so great at what he does. It allows him to be the most empathetic dentist you might ever meet.
There are many people out there who may have experienced discomfort, pain, and even humiliation after even just a single trip to the dentist. People are afraid of being hurt again, embarrassed further, and most of all, being out of control of the situation when they sit in that chair. Many dentists simply arent aware of these kinds of feelings in their patients because theyve either had very little dental work done themselves, or have been fortunate enough to never feel severe pain or embarrassment from dental work.
Dr. Kendall fully understands what each of his patients are feeling at any given moment, which is why he works so hard to make sure they understand how sedation dentistry can help them. Hes gone through extensive education and training to be the very best at administering, monitoring, and understanding I.V. sedation, and relays that information to his patients by way of safe and caring practice. He wants them to know that even under sedation, the patient is in complete control of the situation, able to interact and communicate freely with the team whenever they feel the need. But the best part is, even though youre alert enough to be in control, youre relaxed enough to not feel the stress and anxiety of sitting in that chair.

The Dr and staff were great and very helpful and answered every concern or question I had I will use this office for all my dental needs. Had a great follow up and Dr kendle as always goes out of his way to make sure I am taken care of I'm left feeling like family idled of just another patient thank alot doc !!!!!

Everyone was professional and kind...Aimet was so knowledgeable, friendly and patient in answering all my questions. Dr. Kendall answered all my questions thoroughly, was reassuring and was able to capture my trust in his skills. There was never any pressure to do more than I could afford. Jennifer was great in helping me explore finance options. Great office! Highly recommend.

They said they could help me, those words struck home for me. I have been told by other people that there is nothing they could do for me. They made a believer out of me. Now to come up with the money, an watch me smile the biggest smile I never had. Thank You Dr. Kendall, you made my day hopefully you will hear from me soon. Well you heard from me and we are about done I can't wait to smile that big smile and not hide my mouth when I laugh an smile. I will refer a lot of people your way

Went for consultation today and I was so very impressed with the all the information I was given on how they could do implants for teeth I am missing and fix my teeth that are still good. Really liked that they are into saving teeth instead of pulling them.

Dr. Kendall and Betty are superb, so nice and caring! Dr. Kendall is very skilled and up to date on the latest procedures. He takes pride in his work and has excellent chair side manners! So sweet and gentle. Betty is very good assisting him. She knows his needs before he asks and they work together well! I had implants at another facility in Ft. Worth and ended up here for the repair of one of the implants. Dr. Kendall tried his best to salvage it with his knowledge and skills. They are so professional and accommodating. All the staff are exceptional and I am very impressed with them. So glad I found them and I highly recommended them!

I called Texas Sedation Dental and Implant Center after doing an internet search. I am a self pay patient and the receptionist informed me of a deal for a free consultation and CBCT scan. It sounded too good to be true, so I requested and received an email stating clearly and without condition that the services mentioned to me over the phone were complimentary. I also scheduled an appointment. After consulting with the dentist, he informed me that he did not feel he could treat my condition competently and needed to refer me elsewhere. He then mentioned that the CBCT deal only applies to patients who are treated in the office after the scan. Next, the dentist sent in an office manager named Sarah and I calmly explained again that I was not informed that the "complimentary" CBCT scan was conditional on my future treatment there. I said that it is a fine and fair policy, but that the communication was inadequate and misleading. She was completely unsympathetic, defensive, and condescending, denying any error on behalf of any office staff. At this point I wasn't even hoping to get the free scan I was promised in writing because I no longer desired to be a patient there, but I was hoping for a simple, sincere apology. After reasoning together, Sarah flatly acknowledged a communication error and apologized in an annoyed and insincere way. Then, she motioned impatiently toward the door and told me to leave at least 5 times in a matter of seconds while I momentarily froze in shock over the way she was treating me. I took time out of my day to seek help from this practice in good faith, and was withheld what was committed to me in writing, denied the courtesy and humanity of a genuine apology for the miscommunication, then shooed out of the office as if I was a pesky fly or an annoying dog. It was very upsetting and dehumanizing.

This is the first dentist that made me feel safe and comfortable on my first visit. The staff is wonderful and everyone's so professional. I was actually looking forward to my next visit. All I can say is thank God they are there to help!

I could not be more pleased with entire procedures. They took all of my fear factors away and I was AMAZED that No pain from extraction of teeth and partial being placed no pain Just a Pretty Smile. I so much recommend these people

I just had 7 teeth removed and I'm beginning my journey with a denture on my top teeth. I'm young and this has been really nerve wracking.I had sedation that day and it went so smoothly. I don't even remember going to sleep! Dr. Hampton is an awesome dentist, he was so nice and made me laugh before the procedure and even sent a reply text to my husband for me. I'm thankful for him and the staff for helping me get through this experience.
