Dr. Travis Kendall grew up with various dental issues, meaning he had to undergo a lot of different dental treatments. Even though hes a dentist now, he admits he really didnt like visiting the dentist for a long time. But its this understanding of how many people feel about visiting the dentist that makes him so great at what he does. It allows him to be the most empathetic dentist you might ever meet.
There are many people out there who may have experienced discomfort, pain, and even humiliation after even just a single trip to the dentist. People are afraid of being hurt again, embarrassed further, and most of all, being out of control of the situation when they sit in that chair. Many dentists simply arent aware of these kinds of feelings in their patients because theyve either had very little dental work done themselves, or have been fortunate enough to never feel severe pain or embarrassment from dental work.
Dr. Kendall fully understands what each of his patients are feeling at any given moment, which is why he works so hard to make sure they understand how sedation dentistry can help them. Hes gone through extensive education and training to be the very best at administering, monitoring, and understanding I.V. sedation, and relays that information to his patients by way of safe and caring practice. He wants them to know that even under sedation, the patient is in complete control of the situation, able to interact and communicate freely with the team whenever they feel the need. But the best part is, even though youre alert enough to be in control, youre relaxed enough to not feel the stress and anxiety of sitting in that chair.

Very comforting specially with my dental anxiety. Just wish I would've gotten dental implants instead of just a flipper. But, I DEFINITELY WILL be going back BECAUSE they TOTALLY understand my anxiety and I actually didn't feel a thing!

Everyone is so friendly and reassuring. Due to a nerve disorder I have not been to a dentist in years. They helped me to come up with a plan to address my dental issues and I can say that the pain during the procedure was very minimal and the care was top-notch.

I have not been there. I want to complain about your misleading commercial. You state denture wearer's put dentures on night stand etc. I have had dentures since I was 16 yrs old due to gum disease. Had 32 out at one time in hospital. Full top partial bottom kept 6 had those out at 23.you say problems with taking out at night.. i am 79 yrs old and never left out at night except 2 days for canker sore.No problem with kissing etc. Carmels are only problem. A lot if what you say are NIT true.You really need to be more honest or don't make false claims. I have no problems eating apples etc, don't use anything to keep them in.

I am phoebic of going to dentist. Have been as long as I can remember. I had found a dentist that worked with special children and did a great job working with me. Sadly, he left and I stopped seeing a dentist for over 5 years. I googled dentists that cater to folks like me. I go to Longview because it is a bit closer. I drive 2 hours to go because they are fabulous. They don't make me feel ashamed because I have fear. They are great people and my teeth are once again getting attention. Highly recommend.
