Dr. Andrew Xu was born in Shanghai, China. He came to the US when he was sixteen years old. After college, He was accepted into the College of Dentistry, University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, He was accepted into Advanced Education of General Dentistry program at University of Oklahoma to further improve his knowledge and clinical skills in dentistry. Dr. Xu practiced general dentistry for 6 years before he decided to specialize in Endodontics. He obtained his Master of Science in Endodontology and certificate of Endodontist from School of Dentistry, West Virginia University,
Dr. Xu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics which is the highest honor in Endodontics, awarded by the American Board of Endodontics. To achieve this honor, Endodontists must pass rigorous tests and clinical case presentation. Dr. Xu is a member of American Association of Endodontists and American Dental Association.
Dr. Kavita Doddamane is a Board Certified Endodontist and has been practicingdentistry since 1994. She has been practicing in the Allen area for the past 15 years.She is originally from India and has been living in the North Dallas area for the past 23 years. She received her DMD from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School ofDental Medicine and practiced general dentistry in the North Dallas area beforereturning to school for her endodontic training. Dr. Doddamane completed her specialtytraining in endodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry, receiving both a Certificate inEndodontics and a Masters in Oral Biology.
After practicing dentistry for the past 25 years and Endodontics for the past 17 years Dr.D is still passionate about keeping up with latest advancements and research. Hercontinued interest in learning enabled her to pursue Board Certification almost 8 yearsinto her practice and she completed the rigorous program in less than 2 years andattained Diplomate status.
During her free time, Dr. D enjoys painting, sketching and practicing yoga. Shevolunteers at the Art Center of Plano and regularly donates her paintings for the AnnualFund-raising events at the Art Center of Plano. Dr. Doddamane lives in Allen with herhusband and two children and their fur baby.
