Both in and out of the dental office, our team members are dedicated to making a difference in the community. As a result, we take part in many Terrell events, such as the Jubilee. For many years now, weve also collaborated with the Helen Edwards Early Childhood Center to ensure that children receive needed dental checks. In addition, we often go to local schools to present about oral care in health classes and support contributions for oral hygiene kits donated to those in need overseas. We are always looking for other ways to be involved in meaningful organizations, events, and causes in our local community!
Texas Dentistry had very humble beginnings that included Dr. Erik Harrington, his trusty 1989 Ram Charger, and some long, enlightening drives. Years ago, he visited various dental offices in small towns and communities throughout Texas to provide specialty treatments for patients in need. It was clear that these underserved areas needed high-quality oral healthcare, inspiring the idea of Texas Dentistry!
Above all else, Dr. Harrington wanted to provide reliable and affordable dental care that is accessible to families and individuals in the rural and suburban areas outside of Dallas and help them keep their smiles happy and healthy. Today, Texas Dentistry has convenient dental offices in Mesquite, Terrell, and Kaufman, reaching more people and making his goals a reality.
Dr. DeLeon has enjoyed going the dentists office ever since she was a little kid she always found the environment to be very calm and relaxing! While in college, she shadowed a dentist who encouraged her to consider becoming a dentist; there was a lack of minority and female dentists in the field who could help bridge the gap for similar patient populations. This discussion inspired her to start the necessary schooling, and all these years later, shes very happy with her decision. Her family, which includes a long line of educators, also supported her every step of the way with a lot of enthusiasm.
Dr. DeLeon completed her undergraduate degree at Southwestern University before moving onto Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, where she achieved her doctorate. She was also a post-baccalaureate fellow. Today, she is certified in both Invisalign and Level 1 Minimal Sedation while continuing to pursue advanced training on a routine basis. Staying up-to-date with the newest techniques in dentistry and expanding her knowledge are important priorities for her!
When Dr. DeLeon has spare time, her favorite hobbies include enjoying nature on long hiking trails, going on runs, and doing Pilates. She is also very passionate about tennis and has even played at the collegiate level before.

We had a great experience with Texas Dentistry, their staff went above and beyond to see all my kids at the same time. The front desk is friendly and caring and willing to help us each time. The nurses are always are great too. Their kind to each child and make their appointment time comfortable. The doctor is also amazing, she kind and always willing and ready to answer all our questions. Definitely would recommend this dentistry.

We love Texas Dentistry and Braces. Our girls have been going since they were able to go to dentist. They absolutely love the staff and so do we. They are very gentle and patient with our babygirls!

This was a wonderful experience for my daughter. Previously, she had to be sedated for any treatment. Now she is a little older and she knows what to expect.

We love this place. lupita in the front desk is amazing she's very helpful and not only her but all the team my son is afraid to visit the dentists office but he felt very comfortable going to this place. we recommend this office !

I am a new patient and have been here 2 times so far for a root canal. I am very pleased with the service they provide. Being someone who has no issue with the doctor but am not a fan of having dental work done I can honestly say I. 42yrs I have never been so happy with my dentist than I am at TDFK / Tx Dentistry and Braces!

I became a customer at Texas Dentistry when my family and I moved to Terrell in 2019. I have had several procedures done; from teeth extractions, to fillings, to crowns and everything in between. I don't really like to get my teeth worked on because I don't like needles; duh, nobody likes needles, especially getting shot in the mouth. After expressing my issues, about needles, to the doctors, dental hygienist, and staff; I can say that they are always generally concerned and very empathetic to my needs. I truly appreciate the TLC that I receive every time I have a scheduled appointment. If you are in need of a dentist, I highly recommend the professional staff at Texas Dentistry at The Shops at Terrell.

Everyone here was amazing! Especially Dr. Lindley!They are extremely attentive to Children's needs and fears. They made my 3 year old feel extremely comfortable and were above and beyond!

I was in a bind and couldn't find a dentist that had an opening right away and took medicaid I was searching through Google and found this place called and they got us in that same day... Turns out this place is amazing!! Everyone there is so nice and they are great with kids. I liked our old dentist but I will be going here from now on....

The whole staff was wonderful! Highly recommended will be going back Haley cleaned and flossed my sons teeth and she walked and talked him through everything she is a keeper! and The Dentist and her assistant walked and talked him through an tooth extraction felt very comfortable! They are all very professional we found our new Dental home Thanks again ladies!!

I recommend visiting this dentist office if you have children. Dr. Gracee (name may not be correct) but she is good with children and really engages with them during the process. All the dental assistants and receptionist I've either passed by or encountered were all friendly. Good Job team!
