Prescribing pain medication to our patients after a procedure is very important, but we also understand that there is an opioid crisis currently raging in America. To ensure we dont contribute to it while also helping our patients enjoy the relief they need, our specialty dental office uses EXPAREL, a non-opioid pain management medication. This drastically lowers the risk of addiction, plus it only provides relief right where a patient needs it rather than affecting the whole body like most opioids. With it, we can help our patients and the community at large at the same time.
A Dallas native, Dr. Stewart spent several years practicing as an oral surgeon in Massachusetts and Southern Vermont before his family and friends pulled him back to the Lone Star State. Today, he is proud to provide a wide variety of advanced services to patients in need and loves being a part of a dental team that can create and support beautiful smiles with state-of-the-art dental implants!
Dr. Stewart is proud to be a Fellow of the International Team of Implantology, which is a position that can only be achieved through nomination. He also regularly lectures at local study clubs and with colleagues about dental implants and related subjects.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Stewart pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1998. His particular interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery led him to the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he completed additional specialty training. During this time, he received a medical degree from UT-Southwestern Medical School and was certified as a legal practicing oral surgeon.
When he isnt busy caring for patients, theres nothing Dr. Stewart enjoys more than spending quality time with his family. His wife, Bethany, is a dentist, and his three sons (Michael, Luca, and Frankie) all attend St. Monica Catholic School.
Dr. Walker is dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality periodontal and dental implant treatment possible in a relaxed and comfortable environment. He uses modern surgical techniques, advanced materials, and top-tier treatment planning in order to maximize your satisfaction! He looks forward to working with restorative dentists from all over the Prosper community and beyond.
During his time at Baylor, Dr. Walker was a member of the Odontological Honors Society and was selected to receive the Oral Biology Award and Merritt-Parks Award in Periodontics. Also, during his periodontal residency, he served as Chief Resident and conducted research analyzing the bone response to new implant surfaces. His research was published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.
Dr. Walker was honored as a New Dentist of the Year in 2013 by the Dallas County Dental Society, where he is an active member. Additionally, he holds memberships to several professional organizations.
A Dallas native, Dr. Walker chose to attend Baylor College of Dentistry. After completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he continued his education in Periodontics at the same school. At the end of a three-year residency program, he received his Master of Science degree and his certificate in Periodontology.

They took me in on an emergency sittuation, when other oral surgeons tuned me down. Very profeesional and very kind staff. The addressed my needs, took care of my emergency sittuation and provided follow up advice. Fantastic!

My every appointment with doctor Walker is amazing experience! Very knowledgeable and gentle! Few years ago I was looking for a dental surgeon. After quite a bit of researching and reading about 100 plus dental surgeon bios I decided to give dr.Walker a try. He met my highest expectations from a very first visit and since then I have done several procedures by him. I don't trust no one else just dr.Walker as for my dental implants! If you are looking for a great implants specialist don't look further, he is the one! Office stuff is super friendly and always make you feel welcomed!

My first impression of Texas Dental Surgery was warm and accommodating. My daughter was my driver because of having dental surgery. We were greeted as if we'd been there before. My wait for my appointment, which was bumped up because of a cancelation, was moved along in a timely manner. My main forms had been done before I arrived, the second set of papers were brought in, explained of there purpose, and I was never rushed or pushed into signing without knowing why. After the paperwork was done I was introduced to the doctor, Dr.Walker is my surgeon. He asked about my pain, then explained x-rays that had been sent over by my dentist. After taking me over my x-rays, Dr. Walker asked my opinion as to the suggestions made by the dentist, what procedures I could do differently or leave as explained. After going over my x-rays and plans, Dr. Walker left the room to confer my dentist by phone to discuss whether we'd proceed as planned or do an alternate procedure. My procedure was done, Dr. Walker and his team were all present and I was so comfortable with them. My bad teeth were removed, I had no nausea, no excessive bleeding and the staff took excellent care of me, even getting me safely into my ride home. My last care post would happen possibly six hours later when Dr. Walker called my home to check on me, and make sure when I changed the gauze in my mouth for bleeding, was wet before putting it in my mouth so that it wouldn't stick causing any problems. Thanks Dr. Walker and staff, you're the greatest !

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Doctor was also great. Quick and efficient and reasonable copay using my dental insurance. I'm taking away one star because the doc was an hour late for my appointment. I understand things happen but, I wish I had been notified he was stuck in traffic a bit sooner and asked if I'd like to reschedule instead of sitting in the room waiting for an hour.

Was referred for a complicated extraction and Dr. Stewart was friendly, efficient, and skillful. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or uneasy about the procedure. The staff were very courteous and prompt as well. Definitely recommend for all your dental needs.
