Dr. Michel Azer completed his specialty training at the prestigious Boston University in Periodontology and Advanced Dental Implant Surgery. Following his training, he remained in academia and was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor for the Post-Doctoral Periodontal program to become the youngest faculty in his department. He then moved to Houston, home for him and his family. His areas of interest are cosmetic implant dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction implant surgeries, and gum disease treatment.
Apart from his outstanding clinical skills, Dr. Azer also lectures nationally and internationally, focusing on esthetic dentistry. He currently holds a core faculty position in the dental implantology diploma for the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners. His research projects have earned him much deserved recognition. As a chief resident in Boston University, his research on periodontal disease and diabetes was awarded the Richard Stallard Award. It was selected among four finalists nationwide for the prestigious Balint Orban Award.

I am incredibly impressed by Dr. Azer and will absolutely come back to him again. I saw Dr. Azer for a deep cleaning, after moving from Canada to Houston. He came highly recommended by my periodontist in Calgary who knew of him, his publications, and thought leadership in the space. Dr. Azer was incredibly responsive. He made a point to see me immediately, despite his already busy schedule. He reviewed my treatment history, conducted his diagnosis, and was able to recommend a course of treatment that addressed every one of my concerns. His friendly office staff was also able to work with my Canadian insurance to minimize out of pocket expenses for me, which I highly appreciated and did not expect. He is especially proficient and has excellent bedside manners. He has managed to alleviate any concerns that I had about finding a new periodontist in Houston. I fully trust his expertise and honest opinion, and I feel that I am in good hands with Dr. Azer. I highly recommend him.

Let me just say that the experience I had in Dr. Azer's office was beyond exceptional! I normally get bad anxiety when I step foot in a dental office, but him and his staff had treated me so well. I had all my wisdom teeth extracted with him. The treatment coordinator explained step by step on how my procedure will be and was able to break down my after care to my husband. Since my mouth was sore, I am grateful that they were one text away for any concerns that I had and were answered in a timely manner. Thanks to him and his team, I will definitely be referring others!!

Dr. Azer is an excellent doctor. The whole team made sure I got the treatment I was promised. I am very satisfied with my full mouth implant treatment and new smile. They have their own lab and my requests for changes in the teeth were extremely well accommodated. The facility is great. I had a few other consults at other full mouth implants clinics prior to meeting Dr. Azer and his team. I couldn't be more satisfied with all my treatment at Texas Dental Implant Center.

I came in as a new patient today. The office atmosphere is calm and professional. Staff members are interactive & very professional. I can truly tell everyone how wonderful and helpful they were to me from start to finish. Dr.Azer is very thorough, genuine, and easy to relate to. The all on 6 experience that I received at Texas dental implants center was amazing. The patient coordinator, Karen was nice, polite, and very helpful. The dental staffs are friendly and knowledgeable and when I enter into the office they greet me with the care that I will look for. The day of the surgery they set up everything explain all the details making sure everything was ready before the procedure. Dr Azer was perfect and his patient care amazed me. I followed his Facebook and know that he did his homework prior to any surgery. The surgery went very well and it took me only 2 days on pain medication. All implants and zirconia denture fit perfectly. If anyone have doubts about getting their mouth fixed, Texas Dental implants center is the place you need to go. The best thing, their price way cheaper than what Clear Choice quoted me.

This was an amazing journey. Going from a time when I wouldn't smile due to shattered and missing teeth to smiling all the time has been incredible. Family and friends tell me my smile is back, that it's the smile or grin that they remember. Every member of the team was fantastic, from the beginning all the way through. I was made to feel comfortable and assured; but most importantly, I felt welcomed by them. Dr Azer was amazing, he listened to every concern and desire I had, patiently listened to my rambling (was a little nervous), and took my wishes to heart. The most wonderful part of this is that Dr Azer worked diligently to give me back my original smile. He even went to beyond by including my small gap. This is a team of dedicated people who take this restoration process seriously and work earnestly to make you happy with the end result.

This is a great place to go if you need a periodontist . I had to do gum graft last year and periodonto cleaning last week. Dr. Azer did a great job! Sensitivity went away and gums looks very good, I couldn't be happier with the results. Since my first visit he was honest and straight forward, I felt that I was in good hands. I had experienced other dentists that exaggerated about what my needs were in order to make more money. So it was a relief to find a dentist with integrity. The entire team is outstanding. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they explain very well what will be done. I highly recommend them!

after diligently searching for, consulting with several implant offices from Lafayette, La. to Houston, Tx, the obvious choice was the Texas Dental Implant Center of Houston. Dr. M (Michel Azer) was the DDS for us. While soft spoken, his professional mannerisms and positive attitude put us both completely at ease. His entire staff was totally courteous, smiling and supportive. The results were amazing! We both receive compliments on a daily basis.
