Dr. Lewis has been interested in the field of dentistry since childhood, when he was inspired by his aunt who worked at a dental office. He saw how much quality dental care improved peoples lives and knew he wanted to become a dentist and open his own practice one day. Today, he leads a dental practice in The Woodlands, TX, and 2 in Houston, TX, where he offers his patients cosmetic dentistry (porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, tooth-colored fillings, smile makeovers), general and family dentistry (preventative care), and restorative dentistry (crowns, implants).

In 1984, he earned a Doctor of Dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, the same year he Co-Founded the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry with other internationally renowned dentists. At the time, cosmetics was just becoming a specialized area of dentistry as it began to grow from the use of orthodontic appliances to improve the appearance of smiles into the use of porcelain restorations and other new advancements for enhancements. In 1989, Dr. Lewis became accredited by the AACD, the youngest cosmetic dentist to ever do so.
Dr. Lewis believes that hisgreatest achievement is his family. He and his wife of 33 years, Holly, have 5 wonderful children 3 of whom work for the practice! He also has two dogs, Barney and Boomer, both named after some of his favorite pastimes: Barney Fife from 'The Andy Griffith Show'and the University of Oklahoma (OU) Boomer Sooners. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis loves to play golf and go to sporting events. He collects sports memorabilia, some of which you will see at our office. He is active in his church and his childrens school, and served as the announcer for the school 's football program.He is also an active member of the alumni community for his alma mater, Abilene Christian University, where his wife and children also went to school.
Dr. Lewis enjoys giving back to the community and has been involved with many charitable projects during the years. He has volunteered his services for the Give Back a Smile program,Wounded WarriorandHouston Makeover. Every December, Dr. Lewis donates proceeds from teeth whitening procedures to the Be an Angel Fund. Dr. Lewis has also dedicated his time and service to multiple medical mission trips to Honduras to perform dental work.

Through his hard work and dedication, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, where he currently serves with the Montgomery County Sheriffs department in The Woodlands. TCFCD staff is thorough on the initial appointment. Pictures, x-rays, exam, etc. Every visit after that, you get the same quality treatment. The staff is very knowledgeable & professional. Rosa does the routine "maintenance" during my quarterly appointments. She is phenomenal. I'm very pleased with the work that she does on my teeth & her attentiveness.

I had the absolute worst experience at this dental office. I went in and they told me I had a number of cavities to fix. Two of the cavities they "fixed" ended up leaving me in pain for months. First they did not properly install the temp crown and when they finally saw me again, they told me I needed two root canals. I got the root canals done and went back to them numerous times because I had constant pain. They never called me to tell me my permanent crown was in. I had to call them and follow up myself and when I finally went in to get it installed, the crown broke while they were trying to install it so they had to redo the molding and order again. Three different dentist at that office saw me and neither one of them could properly install my permanent crowns so I had to keep going back so that they could "fix" it. I was in so much pain for what felt like forever. I was finally so fed up and told them I was going to go get a second opinion because the pain was unbearable and no one there seemed to be able to help me. The last dentist finally "helped" me and installed the crown correctly but I am still in pain from from time to time. And after EVERYTHING they put me through, they charge me almost $7,000. They did not tell me what the cost would be up front but did all the "work" and then billed me. I tried talking to them and explaining the HORRIBLE experience I had and that I believed they should work with me and not charge me for everything. The two women I spoke to just looked at me very condescendingly and gave me a 15% discount. I had to miss work several times to keep going back so that they could fix their mistakes and not a single person there cared. They only cared about getting their money. They did not care about my well being or how much pain I was in.

I visited Dr Lewis to have some old veneers replaced on six of my upper teeth. I had braces and my first set of veneers twenty years ago (I am 53) initially to improve the color and shape of my teeth and correct the midline between my front teeth.. The braces and veneers were only partially successful because my teeth were still too many and too large. I had run out of teeth that could be removed to make extra space to further straighten my teeth. Over the years I resigned myself to having a slightly wonky smile. During my consultation with Dr Lewis, however, I asked if he could completely straighten my front teeth, correct the midline and balance my smile by making the front teeth less prominent, He agreed this was possible. By using full crowns on all my upper teeth Dr Lewis was able to correct the position of my upper teeth so they are completely straight and all in the correct, symmetrical position and a healthy colour.. This correction has also significantly lifted my facial features and some of my acquaintances assume I have had an actual facelift! Dr Lewis is the cosmetic dentist to see if you, like me, have made numerous attempts to correct complex dental issues. He takes the time to discuss all the options and the reasons for presenting these options. He is relaxed and reassuring. It is obvious that Dr Lewis and his team care about their clients and want them to have the best treatment outcome. Dr Lewis is supported by an outstanding team. The communication with administrative staff including the office reception is the best I have experienced. Enquiries are responded to promptly by the treatment coordinator Christine. Rachel and Brenda did a wonderful job supporting me through the process of prep for 12 crowns. My husband and I will be continuing to use the Texas Center for Cosmetic Dentistry for all our dental needs.

I have been a patient for over 20 years . Dr. Lewis and each of his staff have always been welcoming and very accommodating. I've had a lot of dental work over the years from being a 60's child with stained teeth from tetracycline stains . For years I never smiled and avoided meeting new people and new experiences . After researching Dr. Lewis , I took the plunge and had my teeth completely re-done . Completely opened up a new world for me allowing for a successful career in nursing & education. Every visit over the years has been a positive experience with the utmost professionals exhibiting the highest of dental care with dental education . The absolute best in their field ! Thank you !!! Was in yesterday and there was a new x-ray machine for your teeth scan full view. Very cutting edge. Staff is the best and very knowledgeable. Appointments are honored to the minutes which is so important in today's world. A bit expensive but you truly get what you pay for. No different than I run my business. Overall just a great dentist and experience.

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021 I went into Dr. Guy Lewis' office for my regularly scheduled 6-month teeth cleaning. What a great Dental Hygienist: Lee Cook was so great! Thank you Lee! Here is why she is so great: as she worked on my teeth cleaning she was explaining to me each step of the process, what to expect. (of course I could not talk or respond...while she was cleaning my teeth). The process was a 3 step process and was never painful,. She was very professional and was educating me while cleaning my teeth on the proper method for brushing my teeth to preserve healthy gums, how not to brush too hard, and how to use the electric toothbrush (that I bought at Dr. Guy Lewis office on my last visit), carefully to prevent damaging my teeth - it all seemed basic but when she said that brushing my teeth after each meal is like soaking the dishes so that the crud comes off more easily later on...this was a really good analogy IMHO. :-) I told Lee that the take aways from my appointment with her was the best I have ever had during a routine teeth cleaning. In closing, she also said something that I will never forget. She said, "Only floss the teeth that you want to keep!". No that makes sense and I will forever remember it and practice her guidance. Lee is the best!!

The only dentist I will visit, ever again! Dr Lewis installed my minimal prep veneers in August to fix poor dental work I received from another dentist (not from Dr. Lewis' office) and I am blown away by how much I love them! I chose Dr Lewis for his reputation of being the "best in the business" and I was not disappointed! Every visit was like a trip to the spa. His staff is accommodating and kind and every experience was very relaxing and comfortable. I would recommend him time and time again! Thank you for my dream smile, Dr Lewis!!!

Dr. Guy Lewis is extremely talented! He and the staff (hi Rachel!) took the time to really understand my issues and fixed both my problems effectively with the least invasive of the treatment options available. I was super happy with the appearance and feel of my teeth. I definitely recommend Dr. Lewis and his crew, especially if you need extensive work done. I travel about an hour to get to his office, but you will find it is well worth it! The office environment is like a spa and designed to put you at ease. This means a lot coming from somebody who is anxious about a visit to the dentist! Thank y'all for all you do!

I brought my daughter to Dr. Lewis's office because she had some staining and bonding issues from previous dental work which she was highly sensitive about, and felt like her smile was ugly. She has always hated the dentist, but after her experience at this office, she will be a forever patient. After her cleaning with Leigh, who made her feel beautiful, her faith in dentistry was restored. This office and their staff was amazing and I can't recommend them more. It was worth the almost two hour drive! If you have a child that has had bad dental experiences I would not hesitate to make an appointment!
