From an early age, Dr. Rakowsky knew he wanted to have a lifelong career in the medical profession. He eventually chose dentistry because it allowed him to be in charge of his own business and successfully help patients achieve great dental health. All these years later, Dr. Rakowsky still feels confident that he made the right decision.
After graduating from Penn State, Dr. Rakowsky pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has also completed continuing education at the world-renowned Dawson Academy and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, further expanding his clinical skillset with a particular focus in cosmetic dentistry. He is currently a proud member of both the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Rakowsky and his wife Cathy have three grown children named Evelyn, Maggie, and TJ. When he isnt busy caring for patients at the dental office, his favorite hobbies include playing golf, fishing, working out, traveling, and (of course) spending quality time with his family.
What many people dont know at first about Dr. Rakowsky is that he has a very sports-centered background! He earned five varsity sports letters at Penn State in football and baseball and is a member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. He also coached high school basketball for two full decades, only recently retiring from it.
Michelle has been working with Dr. Rakowsky for two full decades now, and she always looks forward to interacting with our amazing patients. Originally from Atlanta, she and her husband have two girls, a puppy, and a kitty whos just as old as her dental career, amazingly enough! Her favorite hobbies include crafting, reading, cooking/baking, and gardening. She also really enjoys running in fact, she finished her first marathon in Chicago when she turned 40.
Debra is originally from Quakertown, and shes been a member of Dr. Rakowskys dental office for an amazing 33+ years so far. She loves all of the other team members and the amazing patients here as well. Everyone who meets her appreciates her listening skills and quirky sense of humor too! She attended both Northampton Community College and Temple University, completing post-graduate studies with the Pride Institute as well. Today, she and her spouse have two children, four grandchildren, one cat, and one dog. Animal rescue is a big passion for her outside of the dental office, along with reading and hiking.
Leah has been working in oral healthcare for nearly five years, and she thinks theres a lot to love about our dental office the location, the team members, and the patients too! A Hilltown native, she has a husband, a dog, and two cats at home. When she isnt caring for our patients, you can often find her hiking, camping, traveling, or doing bible education volunteer work. Her goal is to eventually visit ALL of the United States National Parks!

I love this dental office. I came to Dr. Rakowsky for cosmetic dentistry and I am very happy with my veneers. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Rakowsky is fantastic. You can tell they are good people that genuinely care about their patients. If you are looking for a dentist in Doylestown, this is the place to call.

My family and I have been coming here for years and I have no plans on changing that! Even when I lived in the city, I always made the trips back to Dr. Rakowsky's practice. Deb, Michelle, and Leah are fantastic. Appointments are always on time, office is clean, and they are very accommodating. Highly recommend this practice!

The best dental office around! My family and I have been going here for many years. The staff are fantastic -- great with children as well as adults. Debbie, Michelle and Leah are the friendliest people you'll ever meet, keeping things efficient and pleasant. Dr. Rakowski is a great dentist. It sounds cliche, but you're treated like family from the minute you step into the office.

The whole family goes to Dr. Rakowsky for routine check ups including my 8 and 10 year old. We have consistently had great experiences when we go. The staff is super friendly and the receptionist always goes above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Hello, My 3 children and I have been patients of Terry F. Rakowsky, DMD for over 20 years. We have relocated over our lives and our other dental office experiences have not always been satisfactory. That being said..... Terry and his entire office could not be more professional or managed at a higher level of care and expertise. The entire office of professionals have embraced us like their own family. We are individually always remembered, appreciated and valued. My children no longer complain or are apprehensive about their dental appointments. We now live over an hour away and continue to all be patients. I highly recommend Terry F.
