Dr. Kelly is proud to serve Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas as the premier pediatric dentist for kids, adolescence and special needs patients. She arrived in 2014 after completing her pediatric dental residency, a rigorous two-year advanced training program necessary to become a pediatric dentist. Dr. Kelly's first stop as a pediatric dentist was at Dentistry for Kids where she worked primarily out of the Monroeville office, and occasionally worked at the North Hills and Cranberry offices.
In March 2019, Dr. Kelly launched Terrific Teeth Pediatric Dentistryafter acquiring the pediatric dental practice of Dr. Michael J. Hanna. The office remains in its existing location minutes from downtown Pittsburgh in Robinson Township.
Prior to becoming a dentist for kids, Dr. Kelly grew up moving around the world before her family settled in the Washington D.C. area. She earned her undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary and continued her studies at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry (VCU).
After graduating from dental school, she completed a general practice residency in New York City. She then practiced as a general dentist for 2 years in the D.C. area before transitioning to herpediatric dental residency. During her pediatric dental residency, Dr. Kelly servedas the Chief Resident, and gained specialized training in overall oral health, child growth and development, dental trauma, sedation/anesthesia and patients with special health care needs.

My words cannot do justice to how AMAZING Dr. Kelly and her entire team are. She has been an incredible blessing and is so kind and gentle, and she radiates such a positive aura. My children feel comfortable with her and the team. My youngest son (age 7) had to have a procedure under anesthesia, and as any mother would be, I was petrified and so stressed out leading up to and during the procedure. Dr. Kelly and her team took the time to answer all my questions and tried to help me feel better. They took such exceptional care of my son, kept him safe and healthy, and I am eternally grateful for their methods, energy, gentleness, and their expertise. She took the time to call me in the evening to check in with us and see how he was doing. The level of genuine care is so wonderful! They truly are the Diamond standard in dental care, and I am thankful to them! I highly recommend Dr Kelly to everyone!

Dr. Kelly and her staff are AMAZING! I can not say enough positive things about them. My 4 year old son had an accident that involved losing his first tooth and getting it pulled at the hospital. He came to Dr. Kelly with a decent amount of trauma and she was nothing but patient with him. Everyone there was! We have been so impressed with this office. Dr, Kelly is kind, compassionate and honest as well. We are beyond thankful we found her!!!!

Empathy and understanding on another level. My son was referred from another doctor with an angry tooth that needed to be pulled ASAP. I was nervous considering we were a new patient and in need of help now. After discussing how much discomfort he was having; they scheduled us in right away. Once we arrived Dr. Kelly went right to work to make my little guy feel comfortable, not just physically but emotionally too, his anxiety was through the roof. She encouraged us to get that angry tooth out! Knowing he was in pain, she made time to do it the same day. Walked and talked him through the whole process! That angry tooth is gone and he is a happy camper. Thank you Terrific Teeth!

Dr. Lewis and her staff are great - from the front desk staff to the hygienists to Dr. Lewis herself! They're all super friendly and patient - and make your kiddos feel safe and in good hands. Highly recommend this office if you're seeking a pediatric dentist!

The quickest, easiest dentist experience ever! We brought our 3 children ranging from 22months - 5 years old and they were able to get all 3 seen and out of there within 40minutes! The office was clean and organized and the staff was SO sweet and helpful! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect pediatric dentist!!

After being "accidentally " double charge for a co-payment I call them to let them know, they apologized and said they will return the double charge. After a couple days I called back and the manager try to convince me they will refund the double charges in 4/5 weeks and after my insurance pay them, and they can only give me the return in check!!!! Excuse me this is a mistake your guys did, has nothing to do with insurance, I already pay the copay $34.50.. them he proceeded to offer me some kind of deals, NO thank you, I told him that was ilegal what he was trying to do and I wanted my money back. After a few days I received a refund check, but I I'm not going back again!!

By far the BEST staff I have ever encountered with my children. Down to earth funny and makes it so easy to deal with. My kids love Dr Kelly and her staff. We almost had to switch because of insurance change but they were still in network THANK GOD! I would them give 10!stars if I could!

I can't say enough great things about terrific teeth. Our daughter had to have a lot of work done to her baby teeth and the staff was absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend this business to anyone that needs a pediatric dentist. The customer service is beyond any expectation you could have. Not only did they explain everything in full detail about the procedure that was being done they also have exceptional follow up. Wonderful place !!!!!!

Highly recommend. My oldest had a dental emergency and they not only got him in as a referred new patient super quick, but Dr. Kelly was amazing with him. Everyone at the office is super professional and wonderful with my 2 kids who are currently 3 and 8. They explain their process and plan with me and even do a great job of prepping the kids with what to expect during their visit so they are never afraid.

I was so impressed with Terrific Teeth Pediatric Dentistry. My 8 year old son needed 2 teeth pulled and some fillings. His dentist referred us here because they are a pediatric dentist. My son was so upset that he had to get teeth pulled and said he wasn't going to go. After his consultation he never complained or said he didn't want to go again. This morning he got up and got ready and went back into the dentist room without any problems. I thought I was going to have to drag him here this morning, but after his consultation they made him feel so comfortable that his fear went away. All the employees here are so nice and comforting. It's like they are magic when dealing with children. I highly reccomend them for any child (especially children who are afraid to go to the dentist) .

Terrific teeth lives up to it's name. I've brought my daughters (now 4&2) here for over a year and we have had nothing short of an excellent experience. My 4 year old loves to ask questions and know "why" about everything. The hygienists and Dr. Kelly never seem to tire of her questions and even teach her about dental health. My younger came initially as a 9 month old and even with minimal ability to follow directions, she got a thorough and gentle exam. My 4 year old recently needed a filling. She doesn't sit still to have her nails trimmed so I was nervous about how she would do with work on her teeth. The whole Terrific Teeth team, and especially Dr. Kelly and Denise made the whole experience actually fun. My daughter was giggling the whole time (not just because of the laughing gas), and four fillings were done in 20 mins tops. I give Terrific Teeth my strongest recommendation for pediatric dentistry and am so glad we found them!

I cannot give enough wonderful feedback about Dr.Kelly and her staff. They are all kind and gentle with the kids. We have had multiple cleanings and great checkups. Recently my daughter chipped her tooth, it didn't look serious but I called because she was complaining it hurt. They gave me a next day emergency appt and even pulled the tooth the same day when we found it was unfortunately cracked up through the root. They go above and beyond to make sure kids (and anxious parents) are completely comfortable throughout the entire procedure. As a health care provider I know how tough it can be, especially right now in the insanity of Covid and yet they don't miss a beat. I am truly very thankful for them and cannot recommend them enough!
