Our dentists and staff promote preventative dental care including a healthy diet and great oral hygiene at every visit. Because of this, we love to have parents with their child during their first visit. This gives us the opportunity to educate you as well so you can help reinforce these healthy habits at home.

Dr. Kelsey Snavely has always loved working with children. While studying Cell & Molecular Biology at Southwest Missouri State, Dr. Snavely worked as a camp counselor and coach during the summers. After completing dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, she moved to Colorado where she completed the pediatric dental residency program at Childrens Hospital Colorado. Dr. Snavely then worked at a private practice in Littleton and a public health clinic in Commerce City. In 2009, she became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Snavely is also an adjunct faculty member at Childrens Hospital Colorado where she helps educate future pediatric dentists.
Growing up in Kansas, Dr. Snavely often traveled to Colorado for ski vacations. She is very happy to now live in Denver and call the Highlands neighborhood her home! Dr. Snavely and her husband, Jeremy, are parents to their sons Garrett and Connor. They love to take their dog on walks around Sloans Lake. Dr. Snavely looks forward to meeting your family and helping your child have a great dental experience.
Dr. Tim Nichols was raised in Arvada and enjoys being able to practice pediatric dentistry so close to where he grew up. After studying Psychology at Boston College, Dr. Nichols returned to his home state and completed dental school at the University of Colorado. After graduating from dental school, he completed the residency program in pediatric dentistry at Childrens Hospital Colorado. Since completing his residency program, Dr. Nichols worked at a private practice in Longmont and a public health clinic in Boulder. In 2009, Dr. Nichols became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
When he isnt trying to make a trip to the dentist fun for one of his patients, Dr. Nichols is usually hanging out with his wife, Katy (another product of Arvada), sons James, Mac, Benny and dog, Jax. They love to go to the mountains and Colorado Rockies games. Dr. Nichols truly enjoys trying to make each childs dental experience as positive as it can be. He looks forward to meeting your family and teaching you all great habits to help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Dr.NancyChangwas born in Taiwan but grew up in Newton, MA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in 2003, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She obtained anadditional year of training at a General Practice Residency program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2010. After practicing as a general dentist inNorthern Virginia for six years, Dr. Chang decided shewanted to exclusively treat kids and pursued specialty training in pediatric dentistry from the Childrens Hospital Colorado in 2017. In 2018, she became a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Chang comes from a family of dentists including her grandfather, father, brother, and sister-in law. Besides talking about teeth during family gatherings and making dentistry fun for kids, Dr.Chang is also a certified yoga instructor and tries to practice yoga as much as she brushes/flosses! She ishappy to call Colorado her home, enjoys hiking, yoga, and traveling as much as she can!

I trust my kids to come here and you will too. This dentist is amazing for kids my daughter and son love coming here and everyone is friendly and personable. I grew up not liking going to dentists because of poor experience and wish I had a place like this growing up, really glad my kids can have a positive experience like they do here. My daughter had a procedure done by terry Nichols a few years ago and that was positive and we've only been coming here since then. I'd recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate, and the thing is I don't usually recommend. Thank you!!!

Have been great with my son and made visiting the dentist easy, (minus they didn't take new patients that were 12 so my daughter has to go elsewhere) but great for children.

I have been taking my three kids to Tennyson Pediatric since they were tiny, and they have been awesome! They are wonderful at what they do, professional, accommodating, and they coordinate with orthodontists in the neighborhood. They are totally worth any wait and most of the time if I put the kids on a "call if there is a cancelled appointment," list, we get in pretty quickly.

My granddaughter goes here,all the dentist's rock!! They treat her like she was their kid. Now my gripe..on street parking only!! If you get lucky enough to get 1 of 3 spaces on Tennyson great! If not you are going on a hike,be careful where you park watch the signs,meter maids are out there!

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience my almost two year old daughter had with Dr. Snavely. My little girl had to get a tooth taken out due to a large fracture. Dr. Snavely walked me through all the options for the tooth and got that thing out in less than a minute! My daughter did not seem fazed at all after the procedure and even waved "bye bye dentist" on our way out. I'm a general dentist but will definitely leave the care of my little ones in the hands of these kind and efficient professionals!

This has been a wonderful place to introduce my daughter to the dentist. The staff is kind and caring. They take time to help your child feel comfortable and answer questions. They are usually on-schedule, but the one time they were running behind they gave us a $5 gift card to the coffee shop down the street! Highly recommend!

Bring my daughter here every six months, and the front desk is always so pleasant and professional. The dental assistants and doctors are always so informative and helpful, and never make my daughter feel uncomfortable or force her to do anything that scares her (she's only 2 years old). Also very clean and they have toys/coloring/cartoons for the kids. Will definitely recommend to my mommy friends.

By far my favorite pediatric dentistry. The dental assistants walk children through every step of their visit making it a fun and enjoyable one every time. My kids actually like going to the dentist! The office is modern, extremely clean, and decorated with children in mind. Dr. Tim is extremely personable and knowledgeable. My 3 year old had to have some pretty extensive dental work at Children's, and we came to Tennyson seeking a second opinion. Dr. Tim never pressured us to do anything but laid out our choices, let us "wait and see" for as long as possible, and ultimately performed my child's dental work at Children's when waiting was no longer an option. The surgery was relatively quick, no complications, and we are overall extremely pleased with everyone at Tennyson Pediatric Dentistry. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We've worked with both Dr. Kelsey and Dr. Tim. Regarding my own kids I've been incredibly happy with the manners of all of the staff. They've been highly supportive and generous with their time in answering questions and explaining options. My kids have done great there and are not afraid if the dentist. From a business to business standpoint, I refer a large number of newborns here for tongue and lip tie evaluations. Dr. Kelsey is conservative in her approach and is very honest with parents about what she sees. I've had very positive feedback from clients who have seen her as well. I highly recommend and am grateful to have her to refer to.
