Dental insurance is one of many ways to pay for dental treatment, but it is not the only way. Many of our patients pay for their treatment with card, cash or check. In addition, ourIn-Office Benefits Planis a very popular alternative to traditional dental insurance.
Our doctors are in-network PPO providers for most major dental insurance plans. If we are not in-network with your dental insurance, we will file on your behalf as a courtesy. Unfortunately, we are not HMO or TennCare providers at the moment.
Tennessee Family Dentals dental team consists of 20+ hygienists, assistants, front office administrators, dental & medical insurance experts & dentists with decades of experience. Our multiple locations allows us to see any patient with a dental emergency 6 days a week regardless of our availability. No one loves going to the dentist but our team makes it as comfortable and efficient for the patient as possible.
Upon receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012, Dr. ONeill moved to Nashville to begin his dental career and founded Tennessee Family Dental. He is happily married to his wife, Shaylee, a local singer-songwriter in Nashville. In his spare time, Dr. ONeill enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures throughout the world. Hes traveled to over 40 different countries and is actively involved in global mission work. Currently, Dr. ONeill sees patients at theGreen Hills location.
Ashley J. Humphrey, D.D.S. is from Dallas, TX but has made The Music City her home. Before joining the Tennessee Family Dental Group, Dr. Humphrey served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.
Dr. Humphrey attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL earning a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. After completing her B.S. degree she attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry obtaining a D.D.S. degree. She then completed a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. After completing residency, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, and practiced for several years before deciding to return to Nashville.
Dr. Humphrey is an active member of the community participating in various volunteer events locally and internationally. She is a member of the Capitol City Dental Society, MMC Metropolitan Nashville Chapter Alumni Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Humphrey is a newlywed to DaMarrus Miller, and they have a dog named Drizzy. In her free time she enjoys traveling, Pilates, reading, and shopping.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Explained how to properly manage my oral hygiene, and showed more than lectured. I definitely recommend making them your family dentist.

Today was my first visit to Tennessee Family Dental and I was very happy with the results. Dr. Humphrey personally cleaned my teeth. She was very meticulous and thorough. I think this is the best cleaning I've had in years! I will definitely be back.

The women in this office are great! It's always clean, vibrant, warm, and welcoming. They explain everything in detail so that you understand everything from procedures to payments and after care. I love them simply because they are gentle and care goes along way with me. I highly recommend them for a home for all your dental care and needs!!!

My last visit to the dentist was great. Everyone wore masks and I received the paperwork to sign via text and completed everything on the safety of my phone before my appointment. Dr. Ashley, Teresa, and staff are great. If you need a dentist and staff that will help ease your stress, I would recommend Tennessee Family Dental.

I started coming to Tennessee Family Dental about a year ago when I moved here. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating staff I've ever met. They are so sweet and truly care about their patients. Just something as simple as my lips were dry from cleaning Teresa gave me some chapstick. She was anticipating every need. Recommend this office to anyone. They are simply amazing.
