Dr. Trevino grew up in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad & Tobago. Her father was a notable medical doctor there and she grew up with hisexample of the kind of fulfillment that comes from treating patients' needs and promoting their health. Dr. Trevino came to the US for higher education and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loma Linda University, La Sierra Campus (now called La Sierra University), and later, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, in 1993.
After a few years in group practice, she relocated to San Diego (her favorite place to get away from early- based school and work), married, started a family, and fulfilled her ambition to establish her own practice where she could emulate her father's example of helping patients in need and promoting health in general.
Dr. Trevino is committed to excellence in patient care and enjoys working with people of all ages. She treats each patient individually and tailors her approach to achieve her patient's treatment goals. Her first priority is to listen to the needs, desires, and in some cases, the fears and obstacles that some patients perceive. Dr. Trevino and her team then collaborate with patients to address immediate concerns-if any- and then establish or maintain oral health. Her purpose is to build the confident smile that allows people to feel, look, and be their best. Dr. Trevino and her team aim to exceed expectations through a caring, relaxed, and gentle approach to treatment with extra attention for those who may be a little dental phobic.
Dr. Trevino holds professional memberships with the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego Dental Society. She stays current with the evolving dental techniques and is actively involved in dental continuing education and opportunities.
Parisa received her dental hygiene degree from Taft College in 2010. Parisa's high achieving spirit was reflected in her Presidency of her class and in graduating with honors. She also received the Golden Scaler Award, which is the highest award given for outstanding proficiency and technical ability. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, her foundation was established as a highly valued dental assistant working side by side with general dentists and specialists. Parisa is committed to patient comfort, care and education. She takes pride in educating her patients with respect to the care and habits they can employ, and together with their periodic checkups will promote a proud smile and good oral health.
Lisa became an RDA from Pacific College of Medical and Dental Arts in 1987. She has utilized her skills working both front office and chairside assisting throughout her dental career. She has always known that her ambition and talent would be best utilized in practice management responsibilities and found an opportunity to pursue that ambition with Dr. Trevino. In this capacity, Lisa has been fulfilling her aspirations to make patients feel comfortable and guide them to a positive dental experience that is the goal of the practice.
In her spare time, Lisa coached public speaking through Dale Carnegie and enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking or seeing a local play. She loves travelling with her husband and some of he favorite places have been Thailand, Bora Bora, Africa, Australia, Ireland, Israel, Hong Kong, China, Italy, Chile and Singapore. She is proud of her son who will be graduating from UC Santa Cruz.

I've been going to Mexico for my dental work for years now, because of the horrible bedside manner and ridiculous prices of dentists I've experienced in California. My family has had horrible experiences with CA dentists, as well. An old crown came unglued last night (was eating chewy Ginger candy) and a good friend referred me to Dr. Trevino; all I needed was some glue and my friend LOVES her dentist. I called this morning and they got me in today at 3. Lisa, the receptionist/assistant, and Dawn, the hygienist, were lovely and kind, genuinely personable, from the get-go. Dawn x-rayed the area and Dr. Trevino thoroughly cleaned my tooth and put it back in with precision and care. She and Lisa worked together to make sure it was perfect. I admit, way different from the "in and out" I am used to in Mexico. It was wonderful being treated by a kind dentist, in Oceanside, that spent quality time to make sure that something simple was done correctly. And the price was right! I worked in Customer Service Direction for years and am sensitive to bad service. I greatly appreciate excellent customer service. Thank you, Lisa, Dawn, and Tenette! You three are fabulous!

Doctor Trevino and her staff are kind, professional, and friendly. The office is clean, safe, and nice too. They've done a wonderful job making me feel safe and comfortable with all the covid protocols too.

I love my new dentist and her staff at Dynamic Dental in Vista, CA! I am very happy that I found them! So far, I've had a deep cleaning, a filling and a crown with no pain. I had a negative experience in the past with deep cleaning/root scaling and after my experience with Teresa, the hygienist in Dr. Trevino's office, my outlook has changed all together.... no more fear. Dr. Trevino anticipated that my crown will NOT be needing a root canal, but based on past experience, I thought to myself, "Ya, we'll see". I am ecstatic to say Dr. Trevino was right! I have no sensitivity at all! Lisa, who is a great assistant and very hands on in the office, is always a pleasure and helpful with any and all of my needs. They offer online appointment requesting and appointment reminders via email and text, which I personally like.
