Great staff, very professional and thorough. I was nervous to go to the dentist after some time between my last appointment and my first visit to Tend. Everyone at Tend helped put me at ease and my treatment needs were communicated clearly and without judgement. I would definitely recommend Tend to anyone looking for a new dentist in DC.

The staff and dentists are friendly and take the time to answer questions. Unfortunately, that is very much overshadowed by extremely shady business practices. 3 months after my original visit and after I thought I had paid in full, they send me another bill for $400 that more than doubles the cost. They don't even give you a paper or electronic copy of the original quote - they only put it up on a tv screen. I only have it documented because I took a picture with my phone. Apparently the original quote they give you is just an 'estimate'. An estimate that can be off by a factor of 2x. They're able to explain that clearly and succinctly after you already receive services, but they cover that up in fine print until you're already on the hook. 100% intentional and part of the business plan. Even if you don't have these egregious insurance issues, Tend recommends the most expensive treatment options that, according to my friend that is in a post-dental school fellowship, provide marginal benefit and largely aren't worth it.

Delightful personal experience! As someone who sometimes has anxiety visiting the dentist, the team at Tend ensures a comfortable environment. Love the option to choose a TV show to watch while they work on your mouth!

The experience was fine, nothing great. The hygienist and dentist were both super nice. However, the TV and headphones didn't work, and despite the peaceful "experience" being the key selling point for Tend, no one was very apologetic

Fantastic staff and service. People are pleasant and straight to the point about services and next steps. They began the appointment by clarifying what, if any, costs were to be paid out of pocket and not covered by my insurance. They went over this with me before I even went into my appointment which was so transparent and cool of them. Also, fantastic amenities and gorgeous space. Let me pick the TV show I watched and flavor of toothpaste lollll

Great experience with Traci! Haven't been in a few years, but they got me back on track! I will come back to this location for cleanings with Traci from now on. I highly recommend!

The service was outstanding from the receptionist to the hygienist. My hygienist Laurie's customer service was impeccable from start to finish. She is awesome. Thank you again Tend Metro Center

This is my first ever google review and I'm so glad I'm reviewing Tend. This is the first place that's made me feel like I have a care team that motivates me. Tomika, Traci, and Dr. Tungi made my experience everything and more. If you're like me: nervous to be judged or feeling shame over not taking the best care of your teeth, this is the place for you. My experience and Tend was great! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left after my treatment. Kuddos to Laurie & Tamika for making my second experience way better than my first (sorry if I spelt the name wrong). The only thing that erked me was that my appt had to be rescheduled last minute because they did not have any providers on my original date. But the team turned that by giving me a great experience.

I just had an incredible visit! Erica at the front desk, Laurie (Lori? I apologize for not knowing the spelling), and Dr. Sijwuade we're all INCREDIBLE. Due to anxiety, it has been a couple of years since I've been to the dentist and I was really nervous about this visit but knew that I needed to go. Everyone was so kind and helpful -- this is the first visit I've ever been to where I didn't fidget or had any other anxiety response. Laurie was so kind and patient and she and Dr. Sijwuade did everything they could to help alleviate my anxiety and make me feel well-cared for. I have to go back for some treatment visits, and usually I'd be panicking, but I feel so comfortable in this office that I'm actually excited to have my tooth issues addressed. I can't explain how grateful I am!

Great Experience! Very thorough cleaning, Superb patient care, I felt very catered to. My hygienist Tracy was amazing and Tierra was extremely kind enough keep my infant entertained. 10/10 highly recommend!
