Edited review: A million stars for my latest visit! I had a not great experience with Tend a couple weeks ago and wrote a negative review when I got the "rate your experience" message after my appointment (tl:dr, anesthesia didn't work so I couldn't have the procedure I was in for, and communication with the dentist wasn't great). After considering all the other positive reviews and the call I received from Tend to get further feedback, I decided to go back and try a different dentist at the same practice, and I'm so glad I did! Kat and Dr. Chen are the absolute dream team. They took the time to discuss my issues with anesthesia and my whole health and dental history and then proposed the most gentle and painless solution possible. Even when I had a less than stellar visit in the past, the facility was great, and hygienists have all been terrific and kind. I'm pretty sure my one "off" visit was a fluke, and my appointment today was truly the best -- I would now recommend this office without reservation!

Surprised how much I enjoyed the experience. I was hesitant to go to a "chain" dentist, but ended up going because openings frequently crop up (so if you just keep checking their site, you can score something within the week). And... most importantly... I got to watch my favorite reality tv show 90 Fiance. Special shout out to my hygienist Chris, he was delightful! It's a well thought out place.

Christopher my hygienist at cobble hill was amazing! I love how the dental team takes their time with you, educates, and makes sure your needs are met. All the staff their are very helpful. Very clean offices and stylish aesthetic. I always recommend tend to my friends and family.

I am so glad that TEND was created. It is a dental spa that provides above and beyond gentle, thorough, dental care. The staff is friendly and professional. On-line booking and office check in is seamless. You are offered a welcome bag with toothbrush and toothpaste to freshen up in their "Brushery" before your appointment. The dental suites are sqeaky clean. I love that they have a flat TV on the ceiling you watch while wearing headphones during your treatment. They also loan you sunglasses for protection and shade comfort. It's the best dental experience I've ever had!

Best experience that I've had at a dentist in years! Chris did an incredibly thorough cleaning and was very kind & patient throughout my visit. I also appreciated that the staff recommended a certain product to me, even though that one I had suggested was more expensive. I need a follow up appointment and the front desk associates were able to get me scheduled to come back in less than 48 hours. Looking forward to returning!

HUGE scam/ripoff. This is a business only for people who have time, money, and great insurance. This is NOT the affordable option. The offices are clean and the doctors/hygienists are all professional, but they completely took advantage. My insurance only covered one X-ray/exam and they used it basically to tell me I needed a cleaning. I had BOOKED a cleaning but I was told there wasn't time. She pulled up a "cleaning plan" which would be an hour for the right side of my mouth and an hour for the left side, two separate visits, both close to $200 each. I scheduled an appointment with my regular dentist who took mercy on me. It took her receptionist (and me!) over an hour to get my records. Several phone calls, emails and "portal" changes later, Tend finally sent over the X-rays which had to be redone!!! Luckily my dentist didn't charge me for it. My dentist told me the exact same thing Tend told me: plaque build up, cleaning needed, no cavities. The deep cleaning was completed within the hour for half the price, like any normal dentist would. Tend is glamorous to look at, fun to go to, and very convenient but they're not there to help or get anything done apparently.

Literally THE BEST experience I've ever had at the dentist. They have the latest technology so simple things like X-rays go so fast. When they start your cleaning they give you a cool pair of sunglasses to put on to protect your eyes from their work light and they give you a pair of Beats to wear so you can watch the TV they have mounted to the ceiling. The hygienist was SO kind and mindful of any reactions I had. She was constantly checking my comfort. I can't tell you how thrilled I was that my dentist was a woman and not some old white guy. Booking my next appt was so easy and they gave me a cute little travel case with a toothbrush. The space is designed really well, you don't feel like you're in this weird medical space with terrible lighting. I'm never going anywhere else.

The place is very clean and looks so nice, the staff is also great. The hygienist was super nice and didn't make me feel bad about my cleaning habits and the dental assistant dalia was so nice made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend

The best! I'm no longer terrified to go to dentists (who sadly are usually scammers). Since I've gone there, I haven't had any issues. I feel super comfortable and know that I'm not being scammed. I haven't had a cavity and I've been a loyal Tend for over a year. I'm sooo grateful for this dentist group. Btw my distrust comes from a dentist telling me i had 9 cavities. I went to get a second opinion and the other dentist telling me i had no cavities.

I had a surprisingly pleasant experience at Tend Cobble Hill. Days before, my permanent retainer popped out and left behind gobs of sharp, hardened glue that poked my tongue and irritated it incessantly. I called Tend and they fit me in a couple of days later. I hate going to the dentist, and have had nothing but bad experiences in the past, but Tend swiftly and easily cleaned my teeth, scraping the glue off and addressing my concerns in a reassuring, concise manner. Though I was scared that the highly curated aesthetics of Tend meant that the quality of care would be low, I'm happy to report that that was not the case. In fact, this was the most efficient teeth cleaning I've ever had. My only complaint is the fact that scheduling was a little tricky - they booked me at 8am and then called me to inform me that my 8am was canceled and they could move me to 7am, but I'd have to act fast because they might give the slot away to someone else. It's hard to act fast when Tend's only customer care phone number requires you to stay on hold for ages. Maybe I'd have better luck going through the app - this is how we do dentistry in 2022.
