I've been going to Tend for almost two years now and I give them five stars, not for perfect service, but because overall my experience has been good. Ive been incorrectly charged, but they took care of it. I've had to wait longer than expected with an appointment, but the receptionists were kind and apologized profusely. Today, I walked in to the Chelsea office without an appointment and asked if I could have a cleaning done and they were able to accommodated me. The staff (hygienist, dentists and receptionist) were all very kind and accepting. And the hygienist took her time with my cleaning and offered a lot expert advice along the way. If you are looking for great (but maybe not perfect) service and care this is your place.

This place is a sham. I paid $3K+ out of pocket to have my wisdom teeth removed here two months ago. They told me they will submit dental insurance claim to my insurance directly. I had to chase them for the invoice since September. I went to the Chelsea personally to ask for the invoice 8 times. I had a job change in October so I had to make sure everything is okay with my claim. Tend kept telling me they would send me my invoice "today." I never received it. Finally, I received a letter from my ex dental insurance today. Because Tend didn't submit the claim properly, now the dental insurance declined my claim. It will be super hard for me to get my money back since I left last company already. Avoid this place if you can.

The team at Tend Chelsea have been really great getting my oral health back on track after a much delayed return to the dentist. They're thoughtful, explain everything in detail, and considerate of your time and needs. Couldn't recommend Tend + the Chelsea location more!

Downloaded Google Maps only to leave a review. This place is a scam. Their business model is ushering in new patients, getting them to pay, then neglecting them. They're overbooked and will cancel on you constantly.

I've tried a couple of different dentists around the city, and Tend is hands down the best dentist experience I've had here (and maybe ever). Admittedly, I was a little skeptical at first - it's a nice office and has appealing branding, but is that all this will be? Happy to report that level of care I received from check-in to checkout was excellent. Samira, my hygienist, was friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Just moments after she finished my cleaning, Dr. Marijana came in to review x-rays and finish up my visit. She was excellent and very thorough. Most of all, I really appreciated the fact that I never once felt like I was trying to be sold something that I didn't need. Dr. M was very matter of fact - "you have a small cavity here, let's take care of that. And you likely grind your teeth at night, here's why I think that and why a night guard would make sense." Very impressed after my first visit and would definitely recommend Tend to anyone.

Beautiful new office. Staff was delightful. Went in for an emergency visit to ensure I didn't have an infection. Dentist diagnosed and took a quick x-ray; in and out in 30 min.

Painful experience. I have had fillings before which is not what caused the pain, they were extremely rough and pulled on my face for over an hour causing me extreme pain in my face when numbing wore off. After that experience I asked them to cancel everything and all future appointments and now im getting "no show fees" sent to my account. Go to a family practice, theres nothing outstanding about this place beyond decor.

I went to the wrong location but they were still able to accommodate me. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and made going to the dentist a painless experience! Definitely going back

I had a good experience generally, however, I must have made an appointment 6 months ago, and forgotten. Their emails went to my spam folder and so they charged me a no-show fee of $100. It was my fault, but be warned they do not refund this cost or credit you for a future visit. In my opinion the amount is absurd. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you do use them, I would not leave a card on file. Update: They reached out and we did resolve this issue. Make sure you check your Spam folder if the e-mails are not coming through.

Staff were very friendly and professional. I think the company's policy is to deliberately not schedule enough time to do any sort of cleaning in an initial visit so they can bill you for another visit. Profit over care, of course, this is America. Not the staff's fault though, everyone was lovely.
