I am a New Jersey native who grew up right here in Bergen County. My family and I are avid travelers, and if we are not at the office, then you can usually find us on some adventure. Whether its skiing on the slopes or hiking in parks, we enjoy staying active.
Giving back to the world around us is something we also take very seriously. I personally have been on dental mission trips like the one I took to Costa Rica, where I was able to provide dental care to those without access to it. I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, where I was able to help build homes forfamilies less fortunate than mine.

I have been working in the dental field for 13 years and practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for almost 6 years now. In addition to being an RDH I also have my Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Oral Biology. It is my passion to educate my patients on their oral health and make sure they understand their individual needs as well as what they will need to accomplish outstanding oral health. During daily practice I find myself working side by side with my patients and their doctors creating healthy and proud smiles. I also attend continuing education courses regularly to stay up to date on all the latest developments in the dental field.
In my spare time, I enjoy various seasonal sports and activities accompanied by great friends and my wonderful husband. Also I have a great love for my Mini Bull Terrier, Sophie and enjoy taking her on hikes.
My main goal is to help both the patient and the doctor work together so that each and every patient can achieve the best dental health possible. I work alongside our doctors, and explain to our patients the steps of any treatment they may need. Our team is made up of a close-knit group, and they really feel more like family to me than coworkers. I feel very fortunate to spend my days with them!
I have been a Dental Assistant for 10 years and pursued an education in the field since my personal experience in the dental chair. Our dental offices offer the latest technological advances in dentistry. We only utilize digital radiography (x-rays), which means we use a sensor to take the radiographs. This means that the image is generated in seconds as opposed to the 15-20 minutes it traditionally takes with dental film. Not only can the images be manipulated and enhanced on the computer, but whole process reduces a patients exposure to radiation by more than 90%.
As we all know not every patient can take traditional radiographs, whether it is because of limited jaw opening or a gagging reflex, so we have invested in a Panoramic radiograph machine. This machine takes the x-ray of the whole mouth in a single pass and allows us to diagnosis and evaluate the entire oral cavity with zero discomfort.
One of the main concerns patients have is that they truly dislike the sound of traditional dental drills. We appreciate these concerns and have outfitted our dental chairs with electric drills that operate with almost no sound. Our patients continuously comment on the difference in the sound and how it makes their dental experience much more enjoyable.
We have numerous patients with dental phobias and a general anxiety about visiting the dentist. We pride ourselves on catering to those patients and we provide Nitrous Oxide Sedation. Nitrous oxide, sometimes called laughing gas, is a safe and effective anti-anxiety agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask that fits over a patients nose. This sedative agent greatly reduces anxiety and stress associated with dental treatment.
Our patients are always asking for more pain-free alternative treatments and we have answered the call with our Laser dentistry. We have a dental laser system that is approved by the FDA for hard and soft tissue procedures. These new lasers allow us in certain circumstances to complete traditional dental procedures in a virtually painless environment.
