As a modern dental practice, we stay current with the latest technology. We have the most updated digital x-ray system that help us detect cavities at their earliest stages. With digital x-rays, we can detect when the cavity is too small to treat, therefore providing a conservative approach to treatment. Many times, with proper oral hygiene and fluoride treatments, you can reverse this early decay and not need a filling.
Additionally, Dr. Amedro places and restores dental implants with the help of a Noble3i laser, and our DIAGNodent laser technology helps us detect tooth decay at different stages. By combining modern technology with comprehensive care, we can meet all your dental needs.
Brett E. Amedro, DDS, completed his bachelors degree in biological science at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. He then went on to earn his Masters of Physiology degree from the North Carolina State University and also worked as an instructor for pre-professional students. Following this, Dr. Amedro obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While there, he was awarded for his excellence in dental implants. To further his training, Dr. Amedro completed a post-graduate residency program in general dentistry at the Veterans Hospital of Denver.
By completing a residency, Dr. Amedro has advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, complex crown and bridge, periodontal treatment, and root canal therapy. He believes his wide skill set is a benefit to his patients because they receive comprehensive care in his office and he has an appreciation for their overall oral health care needs.
Dr. Amedro incorporates the newest, most up-to-date dental technologies in his practice. He uses the most up-to-date digital x-ray system, places dental implants, and uses a diode laser to improve his restorative and crown and bridge work. Ultimately, he believes investing back into his practice with new technology allows him to deliver the highest quality dentistry to the people of Summit County. Dr. Amedro consistently attends continuing education seminars. Last year, he completed nearly twice as much educational hours than required from the Colorado Dental Association. His clinical interests include dental implant surgery, grafting techniques, root canal treatments, and conservative restorative dentistry.
Furthermore, once you meet him, youll appreciate his calm, caring, and friendly personality, making your experience pleasant and welcoming. He enjoys seeing kids and adults, making Ten Mile Dental a great family dental office.
Dr. Amedro is involved in organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Amedro is married to his wife, Laura. Laura is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Ebert Family Clinic in Frisco and Swan Mountain Womens Center in Farmers Corner. Together they hope to make a big difference in the health care of the families in Summit County. They have two children, a boy and a girl. They enjoy spending time with family, skiing, hiking, and exploring the Colorado mountains.

Felt that they were not transparent with their billing procedures. We were not warned that a usually free check up & cleaning and $72 filling would cost us $500 (with insurance), first we heard was a bill post care which they were unwilling to negotiate. I was very disappointed with how they handled the issue (combative & defensive) and that they preferred to lose 2 patients (1 mid-implant process) than take any responsibility and help a family out. Unfortunate, because my husband and I were really pleased with Dr. Amedro and his staff up until this point.

Dr. Brett fixes teeth and moves about your mouth like an absolute proffesional. Very highly skilled and accomidating to specific requests and pain tolerances. I alwasy feel very comfortable and cared for at Ten Mile Dental.

I did not have the best of experiences. I needed a crown, which they sent out. The first time it came back it wasn't right so it was sent back to be redone. It still wasn't right, so it was sent back again. It finally came back usable, but the area between that tooth and the next one is now trapping food. The clincher was not being able to book a cleaning in a timely manner. Unless you book it 6 months in advance you're pretty much out of luck. Tried Summit Dental about 10 minutes away and had a great experience. Updating my review from 2 to 4 stars - they called to make it right.

Dr. Brett fixes teeth and moves about your mouth like an absolute proffesional. Very highly skilled and accomidating to specific requests and pain tolerances. I alwasy feel very comfortable and cared for at Ten Mile Dental.

My experience with Dr. Amedeo was excellent. His office is immaculate and up to date, his staff is extremely nice, helpful and professional and Dr.Brett is an absolutely amazing dentist. I could not have been happier and am so happy to have found him.

My wife Nancy and I were a bit nervous about going to the dentist post pandemic. Our fears were in vain for Dr Amedro and his staff addressed every possible issue. We waited in our car until we were called in and our temperature was taken before we were brought to the spotless and scrubbed treatment room. The hygienist wore two masks as well as a face shield and gown. She hand scaled instead of using a cavitron to avoid creating an aerosol. She was meticulous and thorough, leaving my teeth feeling smooth and looking great. Dr Amedro's exam was not perfunctory but extremely thorough and he addressed all my concerns. We never felt rushed, but we did feel incredibly safe and could tell that safety was the staff's primary concern. We are seasonal residents of Frisco, but there is no doubt that we trust our care to Ten Mike Dental, Dr Amedro, and his terrific staff.

The entire staff from the administrators to the doctor and everyone in between is amazing. This dental practice is extremely fair, honest, and very good at what they do. From cleaning cleaning teeth, to pulling teeth and replacing a smile, to invoicing and working with insurance; I have never been disappointed. Thank you for everything Ten Mile Dental!

I discovered I had a cracked tooth just two weeks before leaving the country and Ten Mile Dental squeezed me into their schedule so we could get the issue taken care of right away. It ended up needing a root canal and they called around to get me an appointment right away so I was all set to go for my trip. I greatly appreciated their willingness to get me into their schedule as soon as possible and for getting me an appointment for the root canal with a specialist so my travel plans weren't affected.
