I have the Best Dentist in the world I have been afraid of the Dentist all my life be cause they always hurt me This is the 1st time I had a dentist that was gentle & caring & No pain she is awesome Now I I do is go for regular cleaning every 6 months. Friendly environment staff is awesome too, I'm never changing from Tempe Modern Dentistry!!

Horrible experience with oral surgeon Dr. Petersen. I realize oral surgery is not a pleasant experience but Dr. Petersen made it 150% worse! Extremely rushed and no communication to me, as the patient, as he extracted my teeth. I had no idea what was going on as he hacked away at my tooth. So rough and forceful! I would never refer any family or friends to this man. Tempe Modern should not want this man linked to them in any way.

Tried to give this office multiple chances but overall terrible. They do not care about your time and have shady billing practices. -They had me scheduled for a cleaning and after 1.5 hrs (40 min of which I sat in a chair just waiting) at their office, they only did the x-rays and "exam" with dr Sigh who doesn't answer questions and who tried to push veneers. They rescheduled the cleaning with no explanation. -Returned for a root canal (they ran 50 minutes behind and didn't notify me, this is a problem since the endodontist is only available once a month and not easy to reschedule). Dr Cipriano and his staff were amazing and made me feel comfortable (they are the only reason the review has two stars!). Its not their fault the office schedules as 30 min appointments instead of the appropriate 45, so always running behind. The office didn't not have me scheduled for a crown much to Dr. C. dismay. -Returned for cleaning and crown. Aisha was nice but her water cleaning tool was malfunctioning and even after telling her it was burning me, she continued to use it. She even told another person the machine was malfunctioning and she was trying to use different modes to cool it down (spoiler that wasn't working and she was burning my mouth). Ended up with terrible burns (which I am surprised Dr. Zonneveld didn't notice when placing the crown). I was in pain for a week from burns on my gums/lips. - Received a bill for a deductible on x-rays since they billed for a full set, instead of bite-wing. They said they "checked" my insurance and quoted 3 times that x-rays would be no charge, but that was incorrect. They also refused to give me a copy of my x-rays when I asked for them. -I went to this office instead of my normal dentist because they said they were following covid19 protocols (including masking), which when I got there was a complete lie. No one in the reception area wore a mask. Overall I gave them multiple times to try and show me they cared but each time it was the same result. I have never written a bad review for an MD before, but in this case I am hoping to save others from a similar bad experience.

Good manners makes a customer happy but not this place you have to do what they want besides if your schedule is 10:45 am after you mandate sign in at your stupid website. I left today because my point was made and complained to United healthcare dental

Love my dentist office, they have outstanding and friendly and staff! I really appreciated that the assistant explained the process thoroughly and took care of me all throughout the process. I find it very convenient that they do everything electronic so check in is always a breeze and hassle free! As well as remind you of your appt. few days prior so that helps a lot! They also have amazing bilingual personnel and that is always a plus! I would certainly recommend this dentist office to anyone who really wants to be taken care of!

This is the most unprofessional dentistry I've ever been to. After a failed root canal, I was left in extreme pain for weeks. I had to go back several times only for Jenna Zonneveld to keep telling me this pain was normal and would go away from alone. A skilled root canal specialist at a different dentistry had to redo the root canal and I was finally out of pain. I wasted so much money and time at Tempe Modern Dentistry and do not recommend this place. The staff did not care for me as the patient but they seemed like their only interest is to make money.

I regret that we ever chose Tempe Modern Dentistry. I have had two teenagers complete braces through this office with a wife and 11 year old receiving dental work. I have never had costumer service as awful as this facility. The dental hygienists have made my wife leave in tears and blamed it on her for the numbing medication not working. I have had my teenage daughter belittled for not wearing her bands. I have never been able to call and reach someone other than a 3rd party reservation line. Then when anything goes wrong with the appointment they blame you and not the 3rd party they contract through. The times of availability are limited because the orthodontist only works a limited schedule. Had i known this i would have started braces for my two teenagers at an orthodontist that had appointments M-F. It's from the top down, i don't think i have ever met anybody in the office that was nice, pleasant or made my family feel like we were having a positive experience despite our investment of several thousand dollars and several years. My wife had a crown replacement and it fell off after only a few months. We only went back to this office because we had to for them to fix the work they already did. I would not recommend Tempe Modern Dentistry look elsewhere for more convenience in appointments availability, convenience in reaching someone in the office and overall rude personnel.

I've really enjoyed the treatment I receive at TMD. The staff is very friendly, and the team explains procedures and findings in a way that is clear and easy to understand. They've never offered me services I don't need, and I've never been pressured to buy extra services like some other dental offices. TMD was recommended by my whole family and now I know why.

IF YOU NEED A DENTIST COME HERE. The ladies and Tempe modern dentistry are absolutely amazing. They have an amazing office filled with happy and helpful people. They work with someone who has a busy schedule, like myself, and make it seem easy. Paige has helped me get my teeth looking AMAZING and is always great to talk to. They really make you feel like family. I can go on and on about how great this place is, but you're going to have to come find out for yourself!

The staff is accommodating and caring. My daughter asks a lot of questions and they always make her feel comfortable. Bernadette at the front office is very helpful and makes me feel welcome even when the office is buzzing with kids. Would definitely recommend!

I am a new patient and have taken off work three times to go to the dentist. The first time they cancelled on me because the dentist had an emergency. Ok, annoying, but things happen. The second time they saw me but only did x-rays and then said I needed a special cleaning because I hadn't been seen since before covid and I had broken filling which needed to be fixed. They couldn't do any of it then, and didn't even do the normal cleaning because I needed the expensive "special" one. They tried to set me up with two separate appointments but I insisted that they only make one because I didn't want to take off work more than once. I waited an extra month for the appointment so they could be together. I get in this morning and the dentist again had a family emergency and they can't see me. So to date I have taken off work three times and have yet to have any dental work done. Three strikes you are out and I think it is time to find a new dentist. Sigh...

I am only writing this review in effort to somehow get a response from this practice. I have made multiple attempts to obtain my daughter's dental records. According to their practice, I need these two book an appointment for my daughter to have two teeth extracted an effort to continue with her orthodontic treatment. I have spoken with five people in this organization, or so I thought and I've been told that someone will email me her medical records, however after theee months I have yet to see nothing effort. I do believe that part of the problem is that they have some sort of answering service, or people answering the phone who are not connected to the practice. I also want to add that I have also asked repeatedly if I could transfer my daughter to Scottsdale modern dentistry because we live in this area now, and traveling to Tempe during the school week is not the best option for a single mother working 60+ hours per week. I am just hoping for a callback so that I can finalize my daughters treatment without once again being charged because they said the trip it was prolonged period and the treatment as being prolong because of the unresponsiveness of this office,. Period

I was charged $360 for a deep cleaning for one section of my molars after they hurriedly pushed me to sign the paper agreeing to the charges and service. I felt like I was being pushed to buy a car rather than an unexpected service for my gum health... Another nearby practice only charges $114 for deep cleaning per quadrant with my insurance and I found out too late. Make sure to call around before blindly agreeing to their exorbitant charges.

I had braces done by Dr Schwartz and I didn't wear my removable retainer every day because it was made while I had my permanent retainer in place. When the permanent one came apart, I went in and Dr told me I didn't need a new one made. I called about year and half later saying I felt my front teeth rotated a bit. She charged me another $1900 because I didn't eat my retainer every day. WHO wears their retainer EVERY singe day? I think she could've taken at least half accountability because now the teeth are being fixed the way she SHOULH have been done in the first place.

This place is heaven on earth and all employees are angels!!! 10/10 would recommend. Since the moment I stepped foot through their doors I felt safe, welcomed and a part of the family atmosphere they have there. The facility was modern yet home like. Spacious but cozy. They really are the standard when it comes to dentistry. I walked in a patient but walked out a member of the family.

I had an amazing experience with getting a crown replaced and my teeth cleaned. Dr zonneveld is great and fast at what she does. The assistant Bonnie did the x rays really quickly without any gagging reflex. I got my teeth cleaning done by Paige who did a great job and was quick as well. Thank you Tempe modern dentistry team my teeth feel so much better.
