Dr. Peterson studied Biology at Arizona State University. He obtained his DMD and Masters in Oral Biology from Temple University School of Dentistry. He also received a full fellowship from the Misch International Implant Institute, and Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also a proud member of Arizona Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Peridontology.
In his personal life, Dr. Peterson is an Eagle Scout and an active member of his local churchs congregation. His hobbies include outdoor sports such as fishing, gardening, and motorsports. He is a happy husband, and father of four lovely children.

I was very pleased with the treatment I received at Dr Holbrook's office. Everyone I came in contact with was caring, friendly, and answered all my questions. And they even pronounced my name correctly. I highly recommend them.

I'm really glad that my regular dentist referred me to Dr. Holbrook and the team at Tempe Implants and Periodontics. I had two surgeries with them and everyone there was great! Dr. Holbrook explained both surgical processes to me and what I should expect during my recoveries and healing. He really put me at ease. I was very worried about the cost but Melissa took the time to explain my insurance coverage and I was able to use my FSA to pay for my portion. She also made sure I had all the paperwork I needed to substantiate the use of my FSA when I was asked for it. Mia works at the front desk and she answered questions I had while I was healing. She is very knowlegable. Dr. Holbrook's assistant (I can't remember her name) was also very reassuring. I clench my teeth really tighly while sleeping and years of this caused some gum recession that required surgery. I put it off for years because surgery isn't fun and it wasn't, but Dr. Holbrook and the whole team at Tempe Implants and Periodontics made everything so much better. If I need to have gum surgery again I will definitely go back to them.

After processing the fact that I needed a full mouth of implants, I began the daunting task of finding a Periodontist. Without any recommendations, I preceded to read reviews and found 5 star Tempe Implants and Periodontics.Nervously I went to my first consultation and was embraced by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.Shout out to Melissa.I knew I had chosen the right place. Dr. Holbrook saw two of my children for different pediatric periodontal concerns. His staff was courteous and professional. Dr Holbrook is amazing with children and delivered results far beyond our expectations. I am extremely cautious of who I let work on my children. Developing positive interactions with healthcare personnel is very important to me as I want my children to to always feel confident and comfortable when seeking treatment. I sincerely feel that negative experiences can result in a child developing fear of being seen again, and possibly even turn into a lifelong fear. I do not write reviews often because it truly takes an exceptional experience to get me to praise and refer friends to places I have been. I need to know, without a doubt, that who ever I refer will have just as positive of an experience that I have had. Having said that, I would absolutely recommend Tempe Implants and Dr Holbrook for children and adults alike. In fact, my father-in-law recently had work done with Dr Holbrook, and he too had an extremely positive experience. They are honest, caring, and made my children and I feel completely at ease. The team there is amazing! I'm terrified of dentists and it took forever for me to get the courage to get my implants but, the Tempe team really made it worth it! Melissa really went above and beyond in dealing with my insurance which definitely took some stress away. I recommend Tempe Implants and Periodontics to EVERYONE. Marisa bent over backwards to get me the earliest possible appointment. Tiffany made the deep gum cleaning feel like a stroll through the park; she was gentle & it was painless. I experienced NO SORENESS afterwards. This place is the best.
