My friend went to this orthodontist recently and had a terrible experience with the staff at the front desk, specifically the lady with curly hair... Medusa... Medusta. He kindly approached her after calling ahead of time to ask for them to fix a broken bracket of his. She had told him that there was no appointment under his name and that he should have been more careful with his braces. His mom started to get mad since they had driven down from Los Angeles immediately after his bracket broke. He had been up there for his great-grandmother's funeral until he ate a hard piece of a tostada which ultimately caused him to break his bracket. He had only one appointment left until his braces got removed, but if the bracket didn't get fixed soon it would delay the whole process. Medusa told his mom that she could not fit them in the schedule even though the office was completely empty. She told her, very rudely might I add, that they would have another $150 fee for coming in without an appointment, even though they had called ahead of time. Either way, his mom was practically gaslighted into paying the extra amount, though they had already paid so much for the braces in the first place. Medusa came to the back while he was getting his bracket fixed and asked the assistants to deband him although his treatment (that his mom had fully paid for already) was not done yet. Clearly, this wasn't possible since his treatment was not done yet. The assistant didn't deband him, but he and his mom shouldn't have to argue constantly in this office to be treated fairly. From all the people that I know and am close too who have been here, every single one has told me to stay away from this office all because of this lady! I mean seriously, the doctor is jeopardizing his business for her?? I have also heard that she has a bad attitude and acts as if she runs the place, but I don't see her name anywhere. I was seriously thinking of coming here, but after my friend's experience with this lady, I might have to rethink that.

My daughter was not warned or even told they were going to remove a bracket from her tooth. Ouch! One of her rubber bands was not put on properly. But Mr. Orthodontist man was great though. I will also say very happy with the results so far

Been a patient for 2 years and I've had a great experience! The cost is reasonable, the staff are amazing, and I couldn't be happier with my results! Every ortho wanted to pull my teeth but Dr Luther didn't and they straightened out perfectly! Thank you Dr Luther!

My son has been under the care of Dr. Luther for a year now. I went to 6 other orthodontic offices for consults. Dr. Luther wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. I didn't want to go with the cheapest cause of the saying "you get what you pay for." I chose his office mainly based on the friendliness of his staff and it seemed that he had genuine care for the patients. Where as I noticed at our other consults, that those offices were money driven first. So now we are a year into treatment and my son's mouth already looks great. We are amazed how good it is looking so far. I'm glad I went with my gut on picking an office. No one on staff ever seems to get irritated with all of the younger sibling that are brought into the office. Dr. Luther is very nice and polite. He will take the time to talk to parents when they have question and he explains everything so you can understand, none of this medical mumbo jumbo. As well as make a point to just say HI. I am always telling my friends and neighbor to go to his office when they ask about ortho care.

Attention all Medi Cal patient. Please don't sign any contract or let the bill coordinator pressure you in getting braces before you're approved. Every patient is different. They don't turn there information in Medi Cal and try to tell you it is a 3 month process (lies). Dont get me wrong, Luther might be a great dentist. Unfortunately his referral/billing coordinator are rude and misleading. An investigation to this office is over due.

We highly recommebd this place very clean professional awesome people skills .And they do great quality work .I don't leave many reviews,however Modesta made this a nice easy and comfortable experience.We will tell our friends and family.

THIS IS THE BEST ORTHODONTICS IN TOWN BY FAR Modesta Is very professional and kind SHES GREAT WITH MY DAUGHTER .And she explained the whole procedure We felt at ease and peace of mind we love the staff everyone here to Dr Luther to modesta is very kind .

Was with them for 4 years and the time I've spent with them they have treated me so well. Also Dr. Lurther is amazing he's so nice and treats his patients as if you've known him for years

My son got his braces here and now brought my daughter. Staff is amazing and they do an amazing job with adults and children. Strongly recommend them.

I got my braces here in 2012 and got them off mid 2016 and always was very happy with their service! Micheal Luther is a great dentist!
