Dr. Richard Nejat and his team are truly wonderful. Getting an implant can be an overwhelming experience, but I felt taken care of every step of the way. Dr. Nejat did a perfect job matching the implant to my existing teeth. The office is very clean and all of the staff are attentive, caring and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

I was recommended to go to Dr. Daniel Nejat because my daughter in law and my son go there. I have a great dentist in New Jersey but because I was a smoker (now smoke free) - my gums needed LANAP TREATMENT (which is a deep cleaning in my gums with laser). I am a big chicken when it comes to dental procedures no matter what the procedure is. I have bad anxiety attacks. I called their office and I spoke to Stephanie Modica who is the Treatment Coordinator and a wonderful, joyful person who made me feel right at home. I called her many times before my procedure and after my procedure and she answered me back either via email or by telephone immediately. She truly was a gem. After my consultation with Dr. Daniel Nejat, I felt comfortable having this procedure done at his office. He answered all my questions and was very thorough as to what he was going to do (showed me films on his computer and showed me exactly what he was going to do on my gums) and this helped a lot and put me at ease. He did not rush me, answered all my questions, and he truly cared about why I get anxious at dental offices and he told me I will not feel a thing during the procedure -- and he was right! After all was done -- I was in some pain for 3 days on and off but very bearable - then my gums were just soar and I had to blend most of my foods......after 10days, I had my follow up visit and so far he was happy with results and he told me everything seems to be healing properly. Since I live in New Jersey and NYC is not so convenient for me, he also has an office in Nutley where I will see him next. Now it's all up to me to keep up with water pik and taking care of my gums. For whoever is reading this and is not sure if they should go to Advanced Periodontics -- I highly recommend them - you have nothing to lose for a consultation and decide for yourself. Dr. Daniel Nejat, Stephanie Modica and the ENTIRE STAFF at Advanced Periodontics were fantastic!

Dr. Nejat and staff are extremely hospitable and professional. I had tons of work done that was very intense and the staff made me feel at ease from beginning to end..... and NO Pain. I was able to reach out anytime of day and someone was always willing to assist me. If you want the most professional, consistently considerate, and accurate results, then this is the place for you.

If you want a professional, friendly and customer-oriented dental staff, Advanced Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is the right place for you. I've been going to there for the past year and a half and my experiences there have been nothing short of awesome. Dr. Nejat is an amazing dentist who truly cares for his patients. He has an inviting personality and I feel at ease under his care. Additionally, I am a big fan of my dental hygienist Gabby - she's thorough and methodical at her craft and I can confidently say that no hygienist cleans my teeth better than she. On top of that, she has a great and positive attitude, which adds a certain level of comfort when I am under her care. In addition to those two, I have only had pleasant interactions with the staff there especially with Stephanie. There was an instance when I was having issues with my insurance and Stephanie literally did everything in her power to fix the issue including calling reps at my insurance multiple times and trying to understand the root of the issue - I was very grateful for her persistence and determination. I am very happy with service and will continue to recommend Advanced Periodontics to my family and friends.

Dr. Nejat is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Despite a very tough and painful extraction where I basically had a panic attack from the pain and amount of time the procedure took, he remained patient, kept giving me "breaks" and was calm throughout. The other staff who were in and out of the long procedure were also great and checked in with me at the end to make sure I was ok. While the procedure itself is one I'd like to forget, the experienced was made less traumatic by the staff including Dr. Nejat.

Yesterday, I had a 3 hour long procedure done: Extraction , Implant and reconstruction of four teeth. I'm happy to share that I had no pain! the doctors were knowledgeable and the staff was attentive to my every needs. I am also happy that I choose to trust this dental office with my mouth. Thanks to one of my dentist from Connecticut for recommending Dr.Nejat to me.

Dr. Daniel Nejat is a very professional and responsible dentist I ever seen. I had LANAP surgery done at February, Dr Daniel did a great job. After the 3rd day of the surgery I still in pain and bleeding. I called the office and Dr. Daniel was out of the office but he called me back very soon which make me very pleasure. I wasn't nervous and felt comfortable when I talked to Dr. Dan. The Staffs in the office are very friendly. I don't need to wait so long usually is around 5-10 minutes. I had so many experiences for waiting to see a doctor. I waited 1-3 hours to see the doctor and just done it in 5 minutes that really made me freak out. This is my first time leaving a review . The place is comfortable, clean and the machines are new. I live in Brooklyn and it takes me 1 hour and half to get there, but I really recommend the office.

At first my experience with Advanced Periodontics went well. I was seen for an initial consultation and was informed for my full denture I would need to have an expensive 3d surgical scan done. I had to pay close to $400 out of pocket for this scan. My insurance one of the so called "Cadillac Plans" did NOT cover this scan. I was given an outrageous estimate of the cost of the implants I had selected. After several days of trying to find financing or a loan or co-signer it quickly became apparent I wouldn't be able to afford my first choice. Luckily, I thought I had had them do the calculations for simple dentures on what I thought would be the off chance I couldn't afford the price with my insurance. I called them back and let them know that I couldn't afford the expensive implants that they had tried to hard sell on me, and that I would have to go the less expensive route. After informing Josh of this. He proceeded to instead hound and hassle me to "Find a Co-Signer, ANYBODY!" and "Is there anyone you can borrow money from? A Credit Card you can use?" Effectively still trying to hard sell me on the implants I had already told him I couldn't afford. When I had my wife call to speak with them some days later to see about getting an actual cost for the simple denture plan. Suddenly the price of the simple dentures I had been given at $2900 and change which my insurance COULD cover. That cost had mysteriously inflated to over $7K. When I called to ask how the cost could have doubled, I was given a long run around about how they were planning to bill part of it one way and part another and because the calendar year had passed my insurance would no longer cover as much. The office manager that I eventually spoke to after having dealt with Paul and him having hounded and brought my wife to tears with his high pressure tactics and extremely rude personality. Because I couldn't afford the expensive plan, the shift in demeanor and professionalism I experienced was profound to say the least. As I was saying, when I spoke to the office manager she was never able to adequately explain the sudden doubling in price. The insurance ricka-ma-roll that she tried to spout at me was just double talk that they guessed most patients I guess would be too dumb to figure out. I understood every word of what she was saying, It's just that what she was saying was a string of endless falsities and fallacies all in an attempt to cover up the fact that they were trying to gouge me for the biggest payday they could. Suffice it to say, I decided not to have my procedure done here. I have contacted another much more reputable office near me, that has given me a price more in line with what they had initially quoted me. While speaking with the receptionist at this rival clinic I mentioned to her the difficulties I had had with Advanced Periodontics and as soon as I had said the company name I heard a very audible sigh of disgust from the other end of the phone. I'll leave you with what she told me next. "I'm sorry you had to go through that. We hear that a lot from their ex-patients."

After few weeks of research, I was referred to Advance Periodontics & Implant Dentistry office for my implants' procedure. I booked the initial consultation with Doctor Daniel Nejat; staff employees were very professional and flexible to work with my busy work schedule and my insurance work papers. Also, I was very pleased to learn about multiple payments' options and plans offered to suit every individual's situation. During the first consultation visit, Doctor Daniel Nejat answered all my questions and was very thorough explaining every step of the process and what to expect at every stage of the implantation procedure. I felt very comfortable and assured that all my concerns were patiently addressed and discussed with the surgeon. The implantation procedure was a breath and I had no complications whatsoever afterward. I definitely recommend Advance Periodontics & Implant Dentistry office for any dental implants' patients that are looking for a personalized and professional dentistry care. I'm very grateful that Doctor Daniel Nejat was recommended to me and thank you again for the wonderful service I have received.

I saw Dr. Richard Nejat to evaluate pain and inflammation I was having from an implant done by another dentist and I requested lasar to treat it. I was so impressed by his honesty and professionalism. He told me my periodontist had fixed the problem and I didn't need lasar to treat the area. He explained why another implant failed and best of all said he offers zirconium implants for people like me who can't tolerate titanium. I found him to be extremely knowlegible and caring. I plan to have him replace my failed implant. I also found his office staff to be attentive and professional.
