Dr. Teddy was born in Seoul, Korea and has been actively involved in communities around southern Orange County. He received his bachelor of arts degree in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, and his doctor of dental surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dentistry in New York, NY.
He also completed a one-year cosmetic dentistry residency at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and two years of pediatric training through Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. Teddy is an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Jessica Tsai is a dentist anesthesiologist who is trained in a wide range of anesthesia techniques helpful to dental practices. She provides the comfort and safety of monitoring, sedation and general anesthesia for dental patients treated in surgery centers and private offices. Having completed a hospital residency at Loma Linda University, Dr. Tsai has advanced training in clinical pharmacology and emergency care. This allows her to competently assess and manage the risks inherent to dental anesthesia and to provide treatment for both adult and pediatric populations.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in Neuroscience (Cum Laude), Dr. Tsai continued at UCLA to complete her dental education. She graduated with honors and achieved top board scores. After several years in private practice, Dr. Tsai continued her education with residency training in Anesthesiology at the School of Dentistry of Loma Linda University in Southern California. Here she was trained in all modalities of medical anesthesiology, with a focus in caring for pediatric and adult patients with special needs and complex medical conditions. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support with the American Heart Association.
Dr. Tsai is a member of American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society.
Dr. Berry is a board certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in Massachusetts where she attended Mount Holyoke College and received her Bachelors degree in Biology. Dr. Berry went on to earn her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Berry relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she practiced childrens dentistry in underserved communities for 5 years. She continued her education and received extensive advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the prestigious Loma Linda University in California.
Dr. Berry loves working with children and educating parents about the importance of oral health care. As a mother, she understands how important it is for parents to know that their child is in caring and competent hands. Her cheerful and kind-hearted personality helps her patients feel at ease, making their first dental experiences fun and pleasant.
In her free time, Dr. Berry enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She loves yoga, tennis, and snowboarding. Dr. Berry also enjoys photography and going on dental mission trips to different parts of the world to provide dental care for underprivileged children.

I highly recommend Teddy Bear Dental! Great staff and an amazing Doctor! She pays attention to every single detail in order to make the kid feel comfortable, with high level of knowledge and professionalism! My two kids, especially my little one had a bad experience with Dental checkups, and Doctor Renata, the nurses and the staff, made their visit a great one. My 6 years old son asked me if he can go there everyday and my 5 years old son told his dad that the dentist was great!

Dr Kim was the first dentist I brought my son to at age 2. Before that his pediatrician would look at his teeth and say, "They look good!" Take him to the dentist when he turns 2! We went to Dr Kim and he looked my sons teeth over and cleaned them. He recommended flossing the bottom teeth since they are a little tight but over all my son has great teeth. He recommended coming back to "just check out and observe his teeth in 3 months. I forget his reasoning for that" I asked the front desk person if a visit in 3 months was covered because I thought it was every 6 months. She said it would be covered so I made an appointment. We came back and of course his teeth were fine and I got a bill in the mail for the visit, which I figured would happen. I called them and explained. they said they would "waive" the fee this time. oh Please! The other thing that really annoyed me was I had my infant with me during my sons visit and the assitance were asking all about her, how old she is etc. Then they sprung this on me. "oh, you can start bringing her in for dental visits when she's 6 months old." I asked, why would I do that? They said, "To get her used to the dentist and cleaning." I said, thanks. My son was fine his first time and he didn't come til he was 2. But in my head, I was thinking. these people are really reaching for the money. Come on, a 6 month old?! Ridiculous. I never went back and his other dentist says his teeth look great!

great office. Staff was very efficient and thorough. They were very friendly and happy. And more importantly, my boy did super. And he is only 2 years old. Extremely surprised. He doesn't like any doctors, but he likes this one. He said he wants to go back there soon.

This is from my son: Dear Dr. Ted Kim, Thank you for being my dentist. You are my favorite dentist. Is it hard being a dentist? My favorite part about going to the dentist is getting my teeth cleaned and getting a token for the toy spinner. Do I need brases? Did you get the wii to give something to do besides the train track to entertain themselves? I like your business the best! Can I have some tokens for the toy spinner? Thank you!
