I was there for the first root canal of my life. Dr. Lin was extremely assuring and patient with me. It took a few visits since I wouldn't stop bleeding at one point but the process was smooth and well explained throughout the surgery. Also wasn't painful at all afterwards. I wish I never have to do another one but if it happens, I'm going back 100%

Okay... so I am extremely afraid of dentist. I have a huge phobia. I have to literally build myself up before I enter a dentist office. During the pandemic I had a root canal completed back home in New York. My experience was horrible. I had to go to a second dentist to assist with my procedure. Since that time, I just didn't trust anyone with my teeth. However, I neglected the fact that I needed to get a new root canal completed on a different tooth. I kept pulling it off. I prepped myself and starting looking for Endodonists. It took me a while to find the right Endodonists. Before this appointment, I went to two different Endodonists and the vibes wasn't right.I did my research and I decided to give Dr. Nawab and her assistant Toya a try. I was beyond pleased with the service. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. They were very gentle and reassuring and the office setting was inviting. I'm amazed with my results and I am happy that I did my research. Please disregard any tybos are errors!

I had an excellent experience at TEC endodontics. I came in expecting to be in pain during my root canal and I basically felt nothing the whole procedure. The service provided by the front desk staff as well as the doctors and hygienists went above and beyond. Would recommend.

Dr Nawaz was the best! She got me through a tough issue I was having and fixed what she could and pointed me in the correct direction for the other issues. Great bed side manner!!! Dr Nawaz you are the best!!!!!!!

Very pleasant experience. I went in today for a root canal with Dr. Serrano, and the process was quick and painless. The doctor explained everything to me, continually made sure I was comfortable, and provided very clear directions on post surgery care. I hope I don't have to go back for any concerning reason, but if I do I will certainly choose this practice.

Needing an "emergency" root canal was not preferred, but Dr. Serrano (TEC) made the experience as pleasant and healing as possible. She is a happy, friendly doctor who loves what she does and cares for her patients. Her expert attention to my emergency care surpassed all expectations and prior experiences with dental care teams. TEC got me in the day after I was referred and Dr. Serrano expertly identified and resolved the REAL cause of my pain. She called me twice after my procedure, expressing compassion and asking questions that led to an accurate assessment that antibiotics were needed. She not only figured out what dental work was necessary, she determined what I DIDN'T need. During the process. Dr. Serrano also identified and cleared up a nasty sinus infection that had previously gone undetected, which was a hugely welcome outcome going into the spring! I highly recommend TEC if you ever find yourself in the unpleasant situation of needing an efficient, high-quality, patient-focused Endodontist.

Can't say enough good stuff about TEC. Dr. Nawaz is gentle, knowledgeable. and extremely kind. She will explain every step of the process, told me what to expect and even PERSONALLY called me the next day to see how I was doing. No pain, no discomfort; I wouldn't go anywhere else for a root canal procedure.

I was referred to TEC Endodontics by my dentist. I got an appointment the same day. I was treated by Dr. Nawaz. Her gentle manner and professionalism was very much appreciated. The entire staff was great from start to finish. I would recommend Dr. Nawaz and the TEC Endodontics team without hesitation. It was a very pleasant experience.

I don't write many Google reviews, but I had a great experience with TEC Endodontics for an emergency root canal. Scheduling an appointment was very easy over the phone, and I got a very helpful auto-email containing forms to fill out and sign before my visit. Dr. Serrano performed the root canal, and I was extremely impressed with how communicative she was during the whole procedure, explaining exactly what she would be doing and why, taking the time to guide me through my 3D scans and x-rays, and walking me through her decision process as she progressed and completed the various stages of the root canal. She answered my silly questions with lots of professional tact, and also gave me several follow-up calls in the next few days to check up on me and see if I had any residual pain or soreness. Dr. Serrano was so great that I found myself telling all of my friends about how smoothly my root canal went! Further, the front desk was extremely helpful and prompt in rectifying a billing error for the appointment. I was initially charged full-price for a scan that was actually partially covered by my insurance, so they immediately issued a refund back onto my card to straighten it all out. Overall, TEC Endo was a great experience, and while I hope that I don't need to go back for any dental emergencies, I couldn't have asked for a better endodontist office to help me deal with a broken tooth!

Best root canal EVER! Seriously, though, I can't imagine a better experience. Dr. Nawaz performed the procedure in two appointments. The first appointment addressed an infection and medicated the tooth. Dr. Nawaz followed up by phone the next day to check in and asked if I had any questions. The second appt, two weeks later, was to complete the root canal. Dr. Nawaz explained the process and encouraged any questions along the way. She showed me the imaging to walk me through the tooth's anatomy and provide context for my specific situation. The technician, Le Le, was a fantastic assistant and added to the high level of professionalism and care. Dr. Nawaz's "chair-side manner" is exceptional, creating a calm and caring atmosphere to perform what is a dreaded procedure for many. After the appointment, I returned to work and finished the day with virtually no discomfort as the numbing wore off.

I was sent by my primary dentist to TEC to treat my infected root canal. Dr. Stephanie Serrano was very knowledgeable and explained every step of the procedure. She followed up after each visit with a call to make sure I wasn't experiencing discomfort. I received a post-treatment sheet from the front desk personnel with useful tips to reduce any irritations after the procedure. Great experience overall!

Dr. Lin and the whole team are excellent! I had a root canal this morning- turns out the tooth had 5 roots, which is extremely rare and very challenging (google it!). I am so glad that I was being seen by the best, using the latest technology. The procedure was painless and Dr. Lin explained everything calmly and patiently. Highly recommended.

Went in for a root canal and haven't been in pain since. Didn't even need any pain relievers after the numbing wore off. Dr. Nawaz is amazing. She's so kind, professional, and proficient. I thank God for her doing what she does and being who she is. Because that was the worst toothache I've ever had, and she relieved me of that pain. I am forever grateful to her and Tec Endodontics.

Dr. Serrano is the best! I've had two root canals and she and her team have been so caring and professional. I'd highly recommend Dr. Serrano and her team if you're in need of any major dental work. The pain was minimal and was from the initial numbing but after that I was totally fine. Dr. Serrano even called to check on me to ensure I was ok after my procedures. I was really anxious about my visits but Dr. Serrano did a great job and I'm really satisfied with my results as well as my after care.

Wanted to take a moment to thank Dr. Samin Nawaz who I saw in the offices of TEC Endodontics where my Dentist referred me for a root canal. She was both professional and kind; explaining each step of the way what she was doing which helped me through process. She followed up each of the appointments with a phone call to check on how I was doing which I did not expect, but appreciated. The office staff is efficient, and the Dental Technician worked with the Dr seamlessly. Thank you Dr. Nawaz!

Search No More! If your like me, and it's your first root canal, I highly recommend Dr.Nawaz. I'm not someone who gets scared easily. I've gotten a tattoo done in one sitting that took 3.5 hours. But the idea of drilling, or cutting into my gums had my anxiety sky high. I go in tomorrow morning for my second, and final step (since it's a 2 step root canal) I'm not worried one bit. I'm glad I was taken care of by Dr.Nawaz, she checks up on you, answers all your Q's as well. Hopefully in the future I don't expect anymore root canals. But if I do I know exactly where to go and who to ask for "Dr.Nawaz".

I've had the "pleasure" (root canals) of using Tec and Dr Serrano several times. The entire staff starting when you walk in the door until you leave are friendly, efficient and personable. Dr Serrano explains the procedure step by step to ease your mind. I highly recommend.
