Dr Tom feels so fortunate to be practicing dentistry now with all of the new and improved techniques available to dentists today. He is even more fortunate to be surrounded by such a caring staff. They really do treat each of our patients like family; always striving to help our wonderful patients reach optimal oral health.

After receiving his bachelors degree from Miami of Ohio, he earned a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) at Case Western Reserve University in 1985. Dr. Tom has Fellowship status but continues to work toward his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Lorain County Dental Society, Phi Beta Kappa, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The American Academy of Computerized Dentistry. He is also a mentor for CEREC Doctors and is in the Faculty Club for Spear Education.

Dr. Tom and his wife, Judy, love spending their time together and with friends visiting new places and attending concerts or shows. They have two grown children, Laura and Tommy, who are the joys of their lives! Laura is married to Aaron Ramsey a wonderful addition to our family. Dr Toms hobbies include music appreciation and performing (playing keyboards in several bands, most notably FireSide, photography, camping, rafting, fly-fishing, computers, and general gadgetry (his nickname is Dr. Gadget).

Dr. Candice is an active member of the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and the Cleveland Dental Society. She also is a member of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity as well as an active participant in the Westshore Dental Study Club, Women in Dentistry Study Club and Spear Education Study Club. She is enjoying getting to know all of our wonderful patients and their families and looks forward to treating them for years to come.

Dr. Candice and her husband, Ian, have three adorable children; Brady, Mackenzie and Lilly, who keep them quite busy and happy. Her hobbies include Boating, Health & Fitness, Snow Skiing, Cooking, & Baking. In her spare time she is the co-coordinator of MOPS (Mother of Pre-schoolers) at her church.

Debbie is pleased to be part of Team Leatherman Care Dentistry in her position as Patient Scheduling Coordinator. She brings with her over 35 years of dental management experience and her willingness to help you find the perfect time for creating a perfect smile!

Debbie and her husband, Bill, are avid boaters and spend their summers on the waters of Lake Erie and Put-In-Bay. They are the proud parents of Bryan and Benjamin. Bryan and his wife, Amanda, live in Put-In-Bay with the awesome labrador retrievers. Benjamin and his wife, Brittany live in Amherst and are the proud parents of beautiful twin daughters.

Donna brings more than 25 years of experience to Team Leatherman Care. Her highly trained skills in the dental field have come full circle in her work from clinical to administrative positions. She works every day to help patients better understand their financial options when maintaining or restoring their smiles and oral health. Building positive relationships of trust and appreciation with our patients is Donnas biggest reward.

Donna and her husband, Kurby, share the joy of loving and nurturing their five children and eleven grandchildren and spending time together outdoors. Donna is also very involved with the church where her husband is pastor, and enjoys spending time with her church family as well.

Nicole is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) having graduated from Lorain County Community College. She is a proud member of Team Leatherman Care and continually strives to increase her knowledge in improving our patients oral health. She enjoys being a part of a team that is committed to providing the best care possible for their patients. Nicole most values Team Leatherman Cares strong sense of family and togetherness. TLC is a family and we like to treat you like family too!

Jean has been very happy to be part of Team Leatherman Care since 2006. Jean has been in the dental field for over 40 years, working both as an assistant and an office manager. She started her dental career at Ohio State University School of Dentistry.

Jean has been married to Dirk for 50 wonderful years. They have three daughters; Carrie, Amy, and Karli. They are blessed with three beautiful grandchildren and three great sons-in-law. In her spare time Jean enjoys family vacations, walking, and going to the gym. She feels blessed to spend special moments with her 100 year old mom as well. And in the Fall, she loves the Ohio State Football Season it is all about GO BUCKS!

Amanda started her dental career as a pediatric dental assistant in 2007 after attending Remington College. She soon fell in love with all aspects of the office and became cross trained to work both the front and back office. Fast forward 13 years and she is now trained in hospital dentistry, financial coordination, clinical office management and much more. She has a true passion and love for dentistry as well as children. She resides in Amherst, OH, with her husband David and eight children.

Kathi has always had an interest in dentistry, and she decided to gain a deeper understanding of the subject at Lorain County Community College. In 1989, shortly after graduating, she answered an ad to work for Team Leatherman Care. Dr. Tom trained her as a dental assistant, and 27 years later they are still working together side by side. Over the years Kathi has developed a great appreciation for helping her patients have the healthiest smiles possible. Through continuing education courses and specialized CEREC training, Kathi knows how to offer the very best in dentistry.

Kathi has two children Glen (father of Gage) and Molly (married to Jared; mother of Annabel and Dylan) In her spare time, Kathi enjoys gardening, fishing, camping and riding on the back of her fianc, Eddies Harley!

Natasha is a Certified Dental Assistant that has a true passion for dentistry. She recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University and is now practicing as a EFDA. Working at TLC since 2017 has been such a blessing for her because she loves working one on one with patients and helping people. She is the mother to two beautiful boys, Dustin and Jaxson and enjoys being with her family, spending time outdoors, and horseback riding.

Kelly is a Registered Dental Hygienist graduate from Lorain County Community College. She joined Team Leatherman Care in July 2016 after working for a pediatric practice for eight years. Kelly enjoys being a part of this amazing dental team and strives to assure outstanding dental health to all of her patients.

Kelly enjoys traveling with her husband, Tony, and likes to keep active by running, biking, golfing, and an occasional karaoke is not out of the question! She has two sons, Michael and his wife, Sarah, and Kevin and his wife, Christie. Kelly is very excited to help Kevin and Christie welcome their first child, and her first grandchild Jackson born June 13th, 2021.

Chelsea graduated from Lorain County Community College with Associate of Science and an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degrees. She is also currently continuing her education online through The Ohio State University Baccalaureate Completion Program for Dental Hygiene with plans to incorporate teaching in the future. She was a dental assistant for five years prior to becoming a dental hygienist. Chelsea is very passionate about the dental field and helping her patients obtain optimal oral health.

She married her funny and caring husband, Mike, in 2017. They have two sons, Lucas and Miles who keep them very busy! As a family, they enjoy visiting local beaches and restaurants, walks in the park, and Cleveland Sports. They try to attend many Cleveland Indians games each summer. Chelsea enjoys having monthly girls nights with her friends and having couples game nights.

Joy used to be a teacher and has always loved working with and caring for others. She enjoys to hike and run and play with her pups, Goose and Maverick. She loves to spend time with her siblings and is very thankful to work at TLC with the best work family you could have.

Celine has always been someone who enjoys caring for others. Starting off with being a nanny from a young age she quickly realized her love for helping other people. She chose a wonderful career in Dentistry after her daughter,Finley, was born in 2016. She completed Dental Assisting school at Lorain County JVS and entered the field in 2017. She is very grateful to be a part of The TLC family.
