Dr. Don Demasreceived his dental degree from the University Of Illinois College of Dentistry. He also completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
He then earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree at the University of Maryland. From there, he attended the University of Kentucky for a one-year fellowship in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and the use of dental appliances insleep apnea.
Dr. Demas is active in professional organizations for orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, TMJ, and sleep disorders. He is a guest speaker at theUniversity of Connecticut Health Center, University of Maryland, and other organizations.
He is a native of Connecticut, having attended St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol. He also attended the Morse School of Business in Accounting and Computer Programming. Peter continues to keep his skills sharp with annual continuing education.
Peter loves working with all his patients, but one really left a lasting impression. This was a patient with autism who always needed to know, in great detail, what each procedure entailed before it was performed. He requested Peter for each visit. Over his 2 years of treatment, he became more relaxedeven greeting the clinical staff and doctors with jokes at each visit. When his braces came off his smile was radiant. In addition to giving him a transformed smile, Peter watched him grow into a fine young man.

We have been working with Team Demas since July of 2019 and we have loved them! Our first just had her final consultation and our second is about half way through his treatment. There have been emergency appointments both in person and virtual wand I cannot express enough how amazing the Team Demas staff is. They are always helpful and very responsive! They take great care in their patients and it truly shows! Thank you!

We love everyone at Team Demas! Dr. Demas does his best to put together a personalized plan of treatment for his patients. My daughter was a more complex case and he took his time to plan out her treatment plan. Appointments are always easy to book as well as rescheduling. I have found everyone there to be caring and friendly!

Met with Dr. D and Kelly today for a consult. Dr. D. took his time with us, made sure to explain to both my daughter and I everything he was seeing and planning. He spoke directly to my daughter and continuously checked to see if we had questions. The atmosphere of the office is upbeat, professional, and caring. Looking forward to working with Team Demas!

We could NOT be happier with Team Demas! My daughter's teeth were a total mess but they straightened them out to a PERFECT smile. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming and Dr. Demas is out of this world! They feel like family :-) We HIGHLY recommend Team Demas!

I highly recommend Team Demas! The office has been nothing less than perfect. They are patient, kind, and very generous. I feel at home every time I walk through the door!
