Dr. Jack Teague is an Asheville native and a 6th generation Western North Carolinian. He is currently in his 29thyear of practice.He attended Erwin High School, NC State University, and the University of NC at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He and his wife Beth, a chemical engineer, have three children, ages 24, 20, and 17.
In 2011, Dr. Teague was nominated and inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. The academy is an internationaldental honor organization namedafter the French dentist who is known as the 'Father of Modern Dentistry.' Goals of the academy include 'to have as Fellows the most outstanding dentists in every country of the world and to select and induct individuals of the highest ethical, moral and professional standards.'
In 2019, Dr. Teague was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the UNC School of Dentistry. The award is for 'a lifetime of meritorious and significant achievement on behalf of the dental profession, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry, and the Dental Alumni Association.'
Dr. Teague was selected by his peers in 2018 to represent North Carolina as a Delegate to the American Dental Association's House of Delegates, the governing body of the ADA, a position that he currently holds. Dr. Teague is also the current Treasurer of the North Carolina Dental Society's PoliticalAction Committee.
I am a native ofLeicester, NCand Igraduated from Clyde A Erwin High School in 1977. I attended Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College where I completed the Dental Assisting Program in 1978 and graduated with honors in1980with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. I have practiced as a hygienist for over30 years and joined Dr.Teagues practice in 2001. Iam happilymarried to my husband Rick. I have two children,six grandchildren, and three dogs. I am a member of Beulah Baptist Church inLeicester, NC. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and being outdoors.
I am a registereddental hygienist and have been practicing for 25 years. I grew up in the west Asheville area and graduated from Erwin High School. I attended Asheville Buncombe Technical College and graduated from the dental hygiene program in 1989. I am married to my husband, Ronnie, who is a retired teacher from Buncombe County Schools. Wehave twosons, Zeb, a high schoolteacher and football coach, and Zane, a deputy with Henderson County Sheriff's Department.My hobbies include clogging, traveling, and spending time with family.
I am a native of Weaverville, NC where I graduated from North Buncombe High School. I continued my education at Appalachian State University, graduating magna cum laude, and received my Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. I then pursued a degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Asheville Buncombe Technical College. During my time as a student, I served as the Student Dental Hygiene Association's President and received Hu-Friedy's Golden Scaler Award that recognizes students from across the nation who have 'demonstrated remarkable skill and talent over the course of their classes.' I began my career at Dr. Teague's office in 2017 and I am grateful to work with such a caring and supportive team. Fun fact - before working at Dr. Teague's office, I was a patient of the practice for the past twenty years! I am very family oriented and enjoy spending my free time exploring our beautiful mountains and immersing myself in Asheville's food culture. I recently became a new dog mom to Nelson, a redtick coonhound!
I moved to Asheville in the summer of 1999. I moved here specifically to attend the A-B Tech dental assisting program hoping to find a dental practice to further my career aspirations. I am happily married to my husband, Jeremy of 12years. We have two beautiful children, Ava, 11, and Brayden, 8. I have worked for Dr. Teague as a dental assistant since fall 2004. I am proud to be affiliated with such a successful practice and have enjoyed fulfilling my career goals as a member of his dedicated team.
I am a native of Asheville, NC. I graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School in 1998. After high school, Iattended Asheville Buncombe Technical College where I receivedmy dental assisting degree in 2000. I spent my first 15 years in general dentistry where I specialized in designing in-office crowns (Cerec). In 2015, I joined a periodontal practice where I spent five years expanding my knowledge and skills in the dental field. This year, 2020, I am proud to be celebrating my 20th year in dentistry! I strive to provide patient education, quality care, and establishingrelationships with our patients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children.
I was born in Orlando, Florida and relocated with my family to Arden in the summer of 2015. After graduating from T.C. Roberson High School, I chose to attend Asheville Buncombe Technical College where I obtained my certification as a dental assistant. I chose to perform my clinical rounds with Teague Dentistry and realized they were the perfect fit. I officially joined Dr. Teague's team in August of 2020. I look forward to many years continuing to establish relationships with our patients. I spend my free time with my two dogs on long hikes in our beautiful mountains.
I am a native of Weaverville, NC. I graduated from North Buncombe High School in 2018. I started working with Teague Dentistry in 2019 as a dental assistant. I am currently furthering my education at Asheville Buncombe Technical College and will soon be applying to the dental hygiene program. It has been a joy to work with my colleagues here at Teague Dentistry and I have made many lasting connections with patients. Outside of the office, I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. I am also a mom to two fur babies, Klein and Koda.
I was born and raised locally in the Leicester area. I have been a dental hygienist for the last 40 years after being educated at Mars Hill University and Asheville-Buncombe Technical College. I have recently transitioned to the front office where I look forward to forming relationships with our patients and assisting them with all of their dental needs. I have been married to my husband, John, for 30 years. We have two children and one granddaughter that we enjoy spending much of our free time with. I attend Beulah Baptist Church and I love to play the piano and bass guitar.
