We're committed to serving the communities where we live and work and we donate a great amount of our time and finances to area schools and charitable organizations. We sponsor sporting and cultural activities, as well as donating materials and services to those in need.
After completing four years of dental school at the University of Michigan, Dr. Tyler received his Masters degree in Orthodontics from Northwestern University, receiving several awards for outstanding performance.
Dr. Tyler and his wife Sally live in Birmingham and they have two children, Alex and Molly. Alex graduated from Northwestern University in 2011 with a degree in Environmental Science. An NCAA All American in swimming, he is now the owner and general manager of two Goldfish Swim School locations in St. Charles, and Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Molly graduated from Miami University in 2013 with a degree in education and teaches at a charter school in Chicago. Recently, Alex got married, adding daughter-in-law Anna to the family.
Dr. Tyler is an active member of the Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontics. He's been voted Top Doc in Hour magazine every year since its first issue. He sits on the clinical advisory board at Orametirx Corporation and speaks to orthodontic associations around the world about the benefits of robotic technology in the field of orthodontics.
Besides moving teeth, Dr. Tyler stays active in masters swimming. He holds two YMCA national records in the 4449 age group in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. He's an avid golfer, standup paddleboarder, and recently added kiteboarding to his activity list. He also plays drums in a couple of local bands that occasionally perform in the Detroit area.

My daughter had braces put on in January and the process has been nothing short of excellent. The level of professionalism at TDR is second to none. They were very clear about the process, clearly laid out expectations and are very thorough in all of our interactions. Every one of the staff and doctors are top notch! The moment you walk in you're greeted by Adrienne, who never ceases to go above and beyond! I highly recommend TDR Orthodontics!

We had the best experience for my son. They are friendly and on top of all the latest procedures. They also went above and beyond when we asked to get the braces off before my son goes to camp. They did everything possible to make it happen and made sure his teeth were ready for it. I would recommend this practice!!

TDR's plan for service was very well laid out so we knew what to expect. Their staff is pleasant and my son, Jordan, has never had to wait longer than 5 minutes before being seen. Theresa, his primary Technician, is very personable and has always made Jordan feel comfortable. We are very pleased with TDR and would easily recommend them to anyone!

Very professional and did an amazing job with correcting my alignment after having braces prior to this treatment years ago! I also really enjoyed how thoroughly each process of my treatment was explained. No long wait for each appointment was also a huge plus! I would definitely recommend this facility to others!

I feel like I've adopted a family here after I've been coming here for years for my treatment. They will stop at nothing to help you achieve your perfect smile. I would recommend no where else for Invisalign Treatment. They even suggest an amazing Dentist who is basically right next door. I would go back 1000x! Thank you TDR!!!

Wonderful! Can't say enough good things about TDR. Both my teenage sons had their braces done here. Easy appointments, never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen, and super friendly staff and docs. I can tell it's a great place to work which in turn translates to happy people and in turn happy patients and their parents. Oh yes, my sons' teeth look great.

My son got his braces on today and had such a wonderful experience. The staff was very kind and made my nervous son feel very comfortable.
