Lance R Behm, DMD, established Dakota Kids Dentistry in 2001. A native of Minot, he enjoys being back home with family and friends. Dr. Behm is a Minot High and University of North Dakota graduate. While at UND, he competed on the swim team serving as team captain and earning 10 All American Awards. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. While attending dental school at Temple, he served as class president. Dr. Behm completed two years of advanced specialty training in a hospital based pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. His pediatric training allows him to treat childhood dental issues. It also enables him to effectively deal with emotions of children to pave the way for a positive adult experience. Dr. Behm is an active member in the Minot Dental Society, Northwest District Dental Society, American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his spare time he loves hiking, swimming and camping with his wife Stephanie, and their dog, Cooper.

Dr. Zmoos is a board-certified Pediatric dentist. The greatest joys in his life are his wife Abbey, their twin boys Sam and Mack, their son Finn, and their baby girl Rosie. Dr. Zmoos always strives to help his patients and their parents feel comforted, uplifted, encouraged, and empowered before they leave. He loves to have fun, be energetic, and engage with his patients. Dr. Zmoos is a native of the Midwest and was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He studied economics at Brigham Young University where he was on the Deans list, was a research and teaching assistant. He completed dental school at The University of Iowa, where he was very involved in class leadership. In Dental School Dr. Zmoos served as class president, America Student Dental Association president, and the college of dentistry student body president. After dental school he chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry and was accepted to the prestigious program in Denver, Children's Hospital Colorado. Being a top 10 Childrens Hospital, he had the opportunity to complete research on pediatric oral sedation and showed an interest in infant frenectomies and esthetic pediatric dentistry. Dr. Zmoos continues to learn and takes special interest in all of the hot topics associated with pediatric dentistry. In his spare time Dr. Zmoos loves to do almost anything outside, be it warm or cold! Golfing, fishing, skiing, hiking and wrestling his children just to name a few! He takes pride in having adventures with his family and he is currently struggling with an addiction to diet coke and cookies.

Dr. Lisa Kulig is excited to be back home in the Magic City with her family! Shes a Minot native, attended Minot High School, and obtained her bachelors degree of biological science at the University of North Dakota. While at UND, Dr. Lisa graduated on the Deans list and enjoyed teaching Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory Science. She then moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Lisa has always had a passion for treating children and patients with special needs, this led her to further her education and specialize in pediatric dentistry. During her two years of specialty training in New York at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Lisa showed an interest in pediatric dental oral surgery and frenectomies. Her goal as a pediatric dentist is to treat every patient as if they were her own. She strives to be thorough by providing ideal treatment for her patients while understanding the parents' goal for their child. When not at the clinic, Dr. Lisas greatest moments are spending time with family and friends, especially her husband, Gage and their two young, adventurous boys. Dr. Lisa enjoys yoga, spending time at the family lake cabin, and taking her boys on walks & stroller rides.

Bridget joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in March 2006. She is our Office/Business Manager. She earned her business degree from Minot State University in the spring of 1995. Bridget handles the day to day business operations and insurance of Dakota Kids Dentistry. She has been a wonderful addition to the Dakota Kids Dentistry team. Bridget is always ready to assist parents with financial or insurance issues that may arise. She currently resides on the family farm in Des Lacs, ND with her husband Bryan and her two sons, Riley and Tyler, and her three daughters, Holly, Megan, & Kati. She enjoys reading, camping, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Michele has been a Certified Dental Assistant for over 20 years. She started working in pediatric dentistry for Dakota Kids Dentistry in April 2002. She is certified in chair-side assisting, dental radiology, CPR, and operating room procedures. Michele takes great pride in her work and makes sure that each patient she sees, feels comfortable and at ease with their surroundings. She is dependable and fully committed to exceptional patient care. She has two wonderful children, Kylee and Randy, whom both reside in Minot with their families. She enjoys living with her dachshund, Lucy as well as near her four grandchildren, Isabella, Daysun, Zoe, and Rainy. She treasures spending time with her family at their lake cabin on Strawberry Lake, working out, decorating, and cooking. She enjoys working with children and the entire Dakota Kids staff.

Anna received her dental assisting degree from North Dakota State College of Science and joined Dakota Kids Dentistry in May 2005. She is registered in chair side assisting, dental radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR and operating room procedures. Anna also serves as the staffs Office Supply Manager and Clinic Director. Anna enjoys working with children, which makes her a huge asset to our team, she is always upbeat and strives to make every little patient feel welcomed. She is a native of Drake, North Dakota but resides with her husband, Chad and their children, William and Jerzee in Burlington. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Kristin received her associate of science degree in dental hygiene from the North Dakota State College of Science in May of 2005. She joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in May 2005. She enjoys the challenge of working with children along with teaching home care skills and nutritional awareness that will help every child have a cavity free smile. She is originally from Lansford, but resides in Burlington with her husband Corey and their son and daughter, Luke and Taylor and two dogs, Trigger and Jake. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as camping, fishing, skiing and hunting. Kristin also supplies half the office with fresh eggs from the chickens she raises.

Reeann came to Dakota Kids Dentistry in May 2006 and then rejoined our team in August of 2011 after graduating from NDSCS Wahpeton in May of 2011 with Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Dental Hygiene and Liberal Arts. In March of 2014 Reeann became our new Personal Relations Coordinator. As our PRC she represents our office to many referring practices and works with external and internal marketing programs to promote Dakota Kids Dentistry to the surrounding communities. Reeann has always enjoyed working with kids of all ages and loves showing a child that coming to the dentist can be fun; not scary! She is a Minot native and enjoys spending time outdoors and believes anytime spent with her godchildren or her rescued pug, Rose is the BEST time. She graduated from Minot State University Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Marketing in May 2013.

Megan serves as the surgery coordinator at Dakota Kids Dentistry. She received her education through Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, Minnesota in the Dental Assisting Program in May of 2012. She began working for Dakota Kids Dentistry in July 2012. Megan married the love of her life, Matt, in the summer of 2016. They welcomed two beautiful baby girls, Brekynn in March of 2018 and Haidyn in October of 2019, who are the light of their lives. They recently built a home south of Minot where they can enjoy the quiet of the country. She enjoys spending time with horses and has a passion for rodeo. Being a mother and dental assistant allows Megan to relate to parents while going through the dental surgery process.

Julie joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in September 2013 bringing with her 10 years of dental experience. She graduated from Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York in May 2003 with her dental hygiene degree. Her knowledge and experience will be a great asset at Dakota Kids Dentistry. Julie thoroughly enjoys this chapter of her dental career working exclusively with children. Julie is a native of Minot and resides here with her wonderful husband Matthew and their four precious children, Noah, Haley, Paige and Bella and two dogs, Emerson and Tate.

Maycee first joined Dakota Kids Dentistry in 2012, but left to go pursue an education in dental assisting. In September 2014, we were happy to welcome her back to the Dakota Kids Dentistry family. Maycee received her dental assisting education through Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She is originally from Minot where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. In December 2016, Maycee married her high school sweetheart, Rhett. They welcomed a sweet baby boy named Russell into their family in November 2018. He has been their greatest adventure thus far. She enjoys making every childs experience at Dakota Kids Dentistry an enjoyable one.

Helen became part of the DKD team in October 2014. She graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in May of 1990 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. In her spare time she likes to run, camp, fish, ride motorcycle, and spend time with her numerous nieces and nephews. Helen is also volunteer EMT in Towner, ND. Helen has worked in various specialties in the dental field, but can now add pediatric dental care to her list of accomplishments. Dakota Kids Dentistry is happy to have Helen and her vast knowledge of dental care on our team.

In 2008, Ricki became a Registered Dental Assistant and we were delighted that in July 2015, she joined Dakota Kids Dentistry. She brings a variety of dental experience/knowledge to the team from her extensive dental background. In May 2020, Ricki received her Restorative Functions Certification from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Ricki enjoys educating both patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and dental friendly foods/beverages. Ricki and her husband, Mike, live in Minot with their two adventurous boys, Gauge and Fisher. In her spare time she enjoys crafts, fishing, spending time outdoors, and snuggling their pets, Earl and Rooster.

Kenzie graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in May 2016 and joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in June. Kenzie is a natural with all of the young patients. She is always smiling around the office and likes sending patients out the door with a smile as well. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as her dogs, Luna and Jager. She keeps busy outside of work by hunting and fishing. On Sundays, you can usually find her in her orange and blue supporting the Broncos! Kenzie is originally from a smaller town in rural North Dakota, but is getting used to bigger city living in Minot, with her husband, Tom. In February of 2021 their family grew when they welcomed their first child, Lennon Claire.

Emma started working with Dakota Kids Dentistry in 2018 to pursue a career as a dental assistant. Emma became a Certified Dental Assistant through DANB certification in December 2019. In April 2021, she passed her certification to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Emma enjoys working with children and finds it easy to connect with them. Emma always comes to work with an infectious laugh and a great attitude. She was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. When not at work, Emma can be found hunting or fishing, at the lake, or hanging out with her friends and family.

Jacinta completed her dental hygiene degree in 2016 at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. Jacinta worked in general practice before joining the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in 2019. She finds it rewarding working with children and seeing them overcome their dental fears. Her daughter, Clara keeps her busy in life for the most part. When she has free time, you can often find her at Rice Lake with her family on the water or sitting around a campfire. She also enjoys playing volleyball, traveling to tropical locations, or snuggling with her dog, Bella.

Hailee joined the Dakota Kids Dentistry team in January 2021. She is currently training to become a Registered Dental Assistant through DANB certification. She was born and raised in Minot, graduated from Minot High School in 2019. She is currently finishing her second year at Minot State University. Hailee has always dreamt of working in the dental field. For as long as she can remember she has always loved being around kids and is very excited for the opportunity getting to work in a pediatric dental office. When not at work she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her puppy, Maverick!
