Dr. Elwira Tyra grew up in both Poland and Connecticut. She graduated from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 2015 where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, followed by a dental residency program at the same university. She moved back to the United States and completed her general practice dental residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA where she went on to work for a year after as an associate dentist through Community Health Programs. Choosing to advance further in her career and education, she chose to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental medicine where she graduated with honors, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in September 2020.
Dr. Tyra has a long history of giving back to her community through volunteerism in both Poland and Massachusetts. She has set up dental workshops, fundraisers, blood drives and more. While at Boston University, she received recognition for her role as Outreach Chair in the BU chapter of Alpha Omega International Dental Society.
Dr. Tyra is devoted to patient education and providing comprehensive dental care with the help of the latest technologies. She strives to teach and guide her patients through the dental process in a gentle way in order to help them achieve their perfect smile. She is certified in Invisalign and is always seeking new ways to further her training. Dr. Tyra enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She currently resides in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
Dr. Peck graduated with honors from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy in 1979. Then he continued on to graduate in 1983 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Peck completed his general practice residency at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, and regularly upgrades his expertise as a dentist by taking advanced dental courses at the distinguished Las Vegas Institute. He also completed a course with Dentist to the Stars Larry Rosenthal in Palm Beach, Florida.
Dr. Peck was certified at the University of California at San Francisco in laser treatment for cosmetic soft tissue re-contouring and periodontal therapy. As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Peck specializes in a wide array of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including dental implants, crowns, dental veneers, bridgework, teeth whitening, and composite bonding. Dr. Peck and his team are devoted to providing only the best quality of dental care and excellent customer service to his patients.
Dr. Peck is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Valley District Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
I am so happy with the service this office provides. The staff is great and really show they care. They know me by first name when I come in, they wish me a happy birthday, they really are sweet people. Dr. Mahmoud Homsi graduated in 2012 from Damascus University School of Dentistry in Syria. He then practiced dentistry for three years in Istanbul, Turkey, where he advanced his clinical expertise. Dr Homsi then came to the U.S. to further his dental education, earning his DMD degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2019. He received his degree with High Honors and graduated 2nd in his class.
Dr. Homsi was awarded the Prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon award for his high standards of scholarship and potential for continued professional growth. He was also awarded the Geriatric Dentistry Award for exceptional clinical care for older adults, as well as the Leadership Award for his service to the GSDM chapter of the Student National Dental Association.
Dr. Homsi believes strongly in the value of continuing education to ensure delivering the highest quality of treatment to his patients. He is certified in Invisalign treatment for teeth alignment, and delivery of Botox and dermal fillers. In his spare time, Dr. Homsi loves to explore cities around the world and visit their local restaurants. His favorite city surely is Boston. He is married to his wife, Alaa, who obtained her PharmD degree in 2018, graduating from the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy. They currently live together in Windsor, Connecticut.

For many years I avoided going to the dentist. Why? Many are, in my opinion, condescending (insert expletive here). But not here at Taylor Street Dental. The entire staff is friendly and very supportive with every patient looking to maintain or improve their oral health. Dr. Homsi handled my case with the highest degree of professionalism. I had an issue with scheduling and the practice of charging patients to schedule appointments. I was upset about being charged and will be looking for another dentist, but I was very happy with Dr. Peck personally calling me and apologizing for my experience and I felt he was sincere. He refunded my deposit and was very receptive to my concerns. If you don't mind putting up money to schedule your appointment then I would recommend Taylor St. However I spend enough on my insurance and don't want to spend any more than I need to for my dental and health care. Thank you for your apology Dr.Peck , I really respect you for making that personal call and apology . Also Angie is a great dental hygienist and I will miss her. Have a Happy New Year!

I keep coming back because the staff always make me feel comfortable! Dr. Greenberg and his assistant Melanie especially made forget all about my anxiety, they were so kind and constantly checked in on me. They're the best!

Let me start off by saying that the dentist is by far my least favorite place! Never have I had a good experience with going to one. But Monica Maitin hands down makes the whole experience so much easier! She talks so well about her provider and made me very comfortable and at ease in meeting my new doctor. She talks me through the whole procedure. She constantly makes sure I am okay throughout the procedure. She made sure for me to feel the least amount of pain as possible by using the numbing gel. And she made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. And explained the after care very well and answered any and all questions I had! Always a great experience when Monica M. brings me in!

I had a broken tooth with an old filling and Taylor street dental was amazing. I felt no pain while in the chair, they made me feel so comfortable, fell asleep in the chair. I highly recommend Taylor street dental.

Taylor St. dental was outstanding! I have avoided and been afraid of the dentist my whole life until now. Went to my consultation because of tooth pain and they removed two wisdom teeth immediately. Dr. Brian was amazing and the staff did a great job calming me down. I will never go anywhere else this will be my dentist forever. I would highly recommend them to anyone especially if you have dental fears. Thank you guys very much for everything

First and foremost I would like to say that I have never received such EXCELLENT service EVER at a Dentist office, from the front staff, to Alexis (the sweetest Dental Assistant- FYI she's amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable during my whole experience) to Dr. Seo! Taylor Street Dental has made my experience one that I will never forget, from the first moment I called complaining of tooth pain the receptionist that I spoke to that day was polite, knowledgeable and efficient! She was able to schedule me an emergency visit for the next day! I expressed how I had been in so much pain for quite some time and she was able to get me seen right away! Dr. Seo and Alexis are the dynamic duo!! As nervous as I was I knew I was in good hands!! They made sure I felt so comfortable through my whole entire procedure and continued to reinforce if at anytime I felt any discomfort to let him know, he made sure I know exactly what was going on through the entire procedure and was aware if I made any sign of discomfort! Dr. Seo THANK YOU you have taken away all of my anxiety and fear of going to the Dentist, Taylor Street Dental thank you so much for a wonderful experience! I could not recommend them enough!!!

I have been to a couple of dentist in the Pioneer Valley. I have been coming to Taylor Street Dental for two to three months. I like how everyone is friendly, helpful, and show dedication to their jobs here in which show me a well organized business. They take the time to explain the procedure and while completing the procedure they make sure your comfort is priority. I have been to other dentistry's where my comfort wasn't even really third on the list of importance. I will be staying here because of the level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and treatment plan they outlined for me and my oral care.I also like that they have state-of-the-art equipment, and I know that may mean that I pay more but the trade off is well worth it. If you are tired of going to your dentist and walking out feeling like it's just not up to par, give Taylor Street Dental a chance, DDS. Seo is wicked awesome, full of motivation and eager to help you with anything dental procedure you may need no matter how challenging. I am completely happy with Taylor Street Dental and all the staff here, I'm glad I took that first step and gave them a shot.
